Lots of fun! Great way to wrap up Parade day

Great old time candle pin bowling center. Looks and feels like being back in the 70’s. Nothing is overly automated. Manual scoring. Manual pin reset. Had a great time with the kids. No food on the premises except for a couple of vending machines. CASH ONLY!!! Shoes were new and clean. The place was very clean and not overly noisy. The other bowlers were very friendly as well. Paid $3.00 for each shoe rental and $4.50 per game string. We will probably be back one day.

Place was closed on Sunday though hours said they were open, called and stopped by. Frustrating- dying to play a game.. in the birthplace of candlepin! Came from NYC especially for it too. Sigh.

Manager is very friendly. Enjoy going in there to bowl. Pretty funny that nothing has changed in this location since going there at age 7 over 55 years ago.

Place is old and very cold in the Winter. When I was there a pipe broke from the ceiling which is a big Safety concern. Overall fun and great to take your family when it gets warmer outside.

Colonial bowling closes around 9 30 A.M on Sundays sadly. But, any other day of the week it is upon from 10 to 5. Really great classic place to go to though fun for kids and adults with its classic 80's look.

Their winter hours are not listed any where. We went out there on a Sunday with our kids only to find put they don't open till 4pm. Call ahead.

Mike Demers

This place is great...Paul at the front desk is a legend. This isn't your laser beam light show mainstream music playing kids hangout which is awesome if you want that old school nostalgic bowling alley feel.

Went as a group of adults and young teens for my sons birthday. This place is a hidden gem. No stupid black lights and overpriced junk food. Vintage, clean, simple, cash only and kind, respectful service. My son loved it and we all had a great night. Will definitely be back.

Joel Lempicki

Great place! Old school bowling alley, very clean, friendly staff!!

Johnny Miller

Truely a bowling alley in the older sense. Upgrades have not happened in years but it was clean and we'll kept. For those that use automatic scoring it has none. You have to know how to keep score. Fun place to go to step back to earlier years of bowling.

Tim K

One of my favorite alleys. Manual scoring and no cosmic bowling. In the summer, call to check hours before heading over.

Ken Dufresne

A wonderful place to go candlepin bowling. Can't beat the price. It's also on a WRTA bus route.

The temperature is 60 degrees inside 58 at the actual lanes. Smells like mold because it is mold. If it was the 60's it might be considered modern. Someone needs to invest or sell to someone who knows how to get a good ROI. These folks, have no clue. I'll stick withtbe old memories as the ones being made today, smell. Time to check out other places.

As soon as I walked in the door I had to leave. All I could smell was like a musty moldy stench in the air. Definitely bad air quality.

Alex Coleman

Classic decor and plenty of open lanes! Cash only, FYI.
