League was sent here when Plainview Bowl closed. Updated scoring system. **Update** League is finally over and I can't wait to say good riddance to this awful place. Syosset is NOT league friendly at all. There is no pro shop on premise. Last night of league bowling got real ugly. It is position night and we are bowling for money and standings. The house decided to put on their black light system which reflected off the lanes we were bowling on. I asked the manager to turn off the lights and she said it wasn't effecting us. I called her out on this and asked her to come to the lanes and take a look for herself. She refused to get off her lazy ass. For shame syosset lanes. You guys suck big time. I am so happy to never bowl there again. Good bye and good riddance!!

I had a Groupon purchased and for some reason it didn’t go through it went through next day. I called place and spoke with Samantha(manager) ask her if she can accommodate she had very nasty attitude. Definitely not going to this place. Amf change your staff and let them know what’s customer service means and how to be polite.

Horrible horrible experience. I've been to this bowling alley countless amounts of times. I used to go every single Tuesday. We walk in and we asked how long the wait was for a lane. The women said that it would be able 45 minutes. We put our name down and waited for a league that closes 30 out of 48 lanes to finish at 10pm, they did not finish until 10:30 and it took the assistant manager to reset the lanes instead of immediately resetting them, that's another half hour gone. When we asked to see the manager we were pointed to that same assistant manager that was extremely unfriendly, unempathetic, and non fit for customer service. Seeing as how she saw fit to tell us 'I could care less if you (a family of 6, regulars for 15 years) never come back' - she also does not care about her job or workplace. That assistant manager is Vanessa Murgan, and I hope none of you unfortunately have to deal with her. I hope that this never happens to anyone again. Vanessa should find a job that is not in customer service. I was blown away.

The food is overpriced I paid $10 for 6 months Sorella sticks and they weren't really even that good and the arcade there is totally unfair and you can't win anything and even if you get tickets you can buy the cheapest prize for 15 tickets

Great bowling lanes and extremely kind workers. Went there on a Wednesday night for their Wednesday night special and hands down the best amf bowling in town. Facilities were very clean and staff members treated us with respect. Coming from an unpleasant experience at a different amf location, this was definitely an upgrade. Highly recommended for a fun night out.

If you're a bowler, then this alley is not for you. The lanes are not oiled properly and this place attracts a lot of dimwitted millennials who have no lane etiquette. The bartender is usually some man in his 50's who can only pour beer. Don't bother ordering a cocktail from him because he doesn't know how to make one. I returned multiple drinks to him and he just blamed it on the corporate bar.

Expensive as compared to the amount of fun you get. Regular bowling with the "walk-in" prices that leave you unfulfilled, but not wanting to spend another bucks on the game. Maybe I am just too poor to spend hundreds of dollars to play with my girl and some friends.

One of the best places to bowl on Long Island. The lanes are well maintained and no overly oily. The weekday deals are very good and I tend to go for the unlimited bowling Friday nights. The food is also surprisingly amazing! It helps that my favorite bartender ever works there too!

I want to start this review by saying that the bowling alley is well kept, most of the staff was friendly and the servers were efficient. Now, I had a horrible experience with Wendy, the manager. She was rude not only to us, but to the employees as well. She was super unprofessional with the employees talking down to them in front of customers. We played 3 games and decided to enjoy some food before starting the next one. Once she noticed that we were eating and not playing she came over ( in a very rude manner) to advise us that we would have to move if we weren't going to continue playing. I would understand that if there people waiting to play and no lanes unavailable, but that was not the case. I would say about half of the lanes were still available at this point. She ONLY turned her attitude around when I asked for her name and position at the alley, knowing that a negative review was brewing. I will take my business elsewhere next time where it will be appreciated and respected, especially by a supposed manager, who was not manager material at all.

I wish Americans would learn that less is more when it comes to diet. I get it, it's a bowling alley so I don't expect Michelin-starred menus, however they should seriously consider adding more nutritious snacks (less grease, please).

We went on a Saturday at ~noon. There was only 1 other group bowling, which made for a pleasant time. Rates to bowl varied depending on the time that you go. For example, during off-peak hours we paid $7.50 per person per game. But during busy hours it might have been $8.50 per person per game. The bowling alley is quite big, has food and drink options, and comfortable seating.

Best bowling arena in Long Island but the reason for 1 star is the STAFF working here. Lady on bar is exceptionally rude. when I told her I got a bowling lane where there were left overs all around. Maybe she got offended just coz I told her to clean. At first you should check if the Lane is clean and then should appoint the Lane to us or they should keep more staff to clean the tables. Secondly we were 5 people and came in the last closing hour. We wanted to play a single game . At first the guy appointed us a single lane . 5 people can play in one hour easily. But still the lady who was cleaning and keeping the bowls in the rack behind shouted at the counter to divide in 2 lanes. Trust me AMF earlier was never like this. This was the last timing I am visiting this place.

This alley is clean, contemporary, and relatively cheap. You can choose the "all you can bowl" option to save money money. Also, the bartender was great and while the food isn't terrible, it's mostly your standard fried bar options.

I like that they always have lanes open but we were set up in a lane that had cups and plates leftover from the previous party. Also the bartender can be a bit too much. She's extremely talkative

Normally a fine place to bowl. Yesterday they decided to sand down half the lanes while people were bowling. Yes, they were running loud sanding machines and kicking up particles of who knows what with not a care in the world. No one in their right mind would sand their wood floors without wearing a respirator and taking other precautions but AMF seems to think that it is a swell idea to subject their customers, many of whom are children, to this. We left when we realized whst was going on, but this shows a callous disregard for customers and employees. Really bad judgement.

Love to bowl in morning league. BUT... Pins do not count properly & many mechanical breakdowns, we needed to be moved off lane. Next lane had similar issue and lane lights went off & on & pink & blue. AMF needs to invest in their property.

Lanes broken. Charged for extra games after trying to get refund for games we couldn't play due to broken lanes. Lady caught an attitude when I told her she charged me instead of refunded me. Told me I was lucky she was there because anyone else would have told me I was lieing. Wont ever go back.

I attended a Birthday party here on a Saturday from 2-5pm and I loved it. The party host was incredible, great personality, social, and very attentive. The score screens were so cute and kid friendly. It wasn't too crowded considering the day and time. The kids all had a wonderful time and I would definitely consider celebrating my son's birthday here as well. The food was also very good and a good temperature.

First of all let me start with the staff. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. So sorry they work for a manager who belittle them and spoke to them nasty in front of customers. The manager Wendy from the start of us getting their had a very bad attitude, treated us differently becuase we were not regulars or maybe a racial thing who knows. But she kept harassing us throughout our time in the alley. She told us we had to move if we were not bowling (we bought drinks, food and 4 games) but she kept harassing us even though the alley was empty. Very nasty and unprofessional. I would not going here anymore and I would not recommend to anyone as long as that manager Wendy is there.

Although it was a bit pricy. I would say it was a really great experience. They as glow in the dark theme throughout. And it wasn't very crowded when we went to bowl. The staff were attentive and friendly throughout. Also I believe they have weekday deals to incentive people to visit more frequently. I enjoy the experience and would recommend a friend to visit with me again.

Lets start with this: all the five stars are fake...I doubt they even went to the bowling alley. The service is terrible and the manager doesn't think of the customer at all. All she thinks about is money and very rude to customers that uses coupons such as me. Some staffs are nice but many just comes around and pressures to buy food. All this bowling alley does is just try to take your money. I'm not sure why the manager is still not fired yet. Nice lanes and stuff but terrible service.
