You will see the opinions of real people like you who buy the services of Punch Bowl Social Denver (Bowling Alley) in Colorado.
Now this firm gets a rating of 4.2 out of 5 and the score is based on 2662 reviews.
As you can read, the average of ratings is quite high, and it's based on a high number of feddbacks, so we may conclude that the evaluation is quite credible. If people have bothered to value when they are happy with the business, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to write reviews when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Bowling Alley corresponds to the category of American restaurant.
This place has good food, decent prices and very nice staff. Like the atmosphere and they catered to 20 of us with no notice. Greatly appreciated it. Absolutely massive place! Parking is a little hard on a busy weekend night, but that's to expect in downtown Denver.
Great for groups and celebrations. Dining space and bar separate but share the same menu. Major draws: in house bowling alley (with a separate two lane set up for private events) and giant board games (like a scrabble wall). Parking lot is decently sized for Broadway. Colorado brews on tap and bites on the menu.
Super sick spot. Bowling alley inside and very creative food and drink selection. Great vibes all around !
One of the best little gems in Denver. Service is always amazing, and it never seems to get too busy, just bustling enough to add camaraderie to your evening. Bowling, retro games, board games, VR, skee ball, pinball. What else would you need? Only tried a handful of menu items but everything was solid.
Very friendly staff. Buffet provided for our group of 100 was great.
I have never had a bad time here and have gotten to know the bartenders/servers well! Food is epic (the salmon sandwich...just WOW!). Epic game day atmosphere and always a good time!
If I go again and try more food I might add a star, but my impression was: a place to go get drunk, with some games (average) to fool around with so you don't get bored and leave. Don't go expecting D&B's, you'll be extremely disappointed. It seems a little forced dive-y.
Large open space with a variety of fun games. Music was a touch loud if you're sensitive. Honestly reasonably priced. Would go again.
This is a pretty cool place with lots of activities to do. The bowling is a but weird as the pins are on strings like you're playing puppet bowling. They also have a few VR stations that looked fun. Good beer selection. Cocktails are pretty good too. It was a corporate party, so lots of finger foods. Fried chicken sliders were really good.
Celebrating a friends birthday. I love their drinks.
Such a cool place! So many different things to do, for people of all ages.
Will back here one day. Love this place so much
A fun place with games for everyone! Have a drink and enjoy the service.
Had a great time last night - good food and some of the friendliest wait staff around. Gets crowded and make sure to put your name in early if you want to bowl. Try the Mule - lots off good beers avaliable as well. The peanut siracha fries were great,!
Went here for an office Christmas party and the food they had available was a little weird and mismatched, tacos and charcuterie? Decent mixed drinks though.
The atmosphere was awesome and unique. Tons to do! Food was pretty good but service was a tad slow. That said we stayed entertained for hours. I loved the board/card games available. I would definitely recommend as long as you're not in a hurry.
This place was so cute and so amazing!! We didn't realize until afterwards that there was a game room on the other side of the wall that was part of the restaurant!!
This place was a really great time! Very good drinks, but timely service was definitely lacking later on in the night. They could definitely use more servers....still 5 stars.
Great place. Great helpful staff. Polite
We had a great time here. Things for all ages. Our group ranged in age from 6 to 87. We reserved one of the areas for 2 hours and no one was ready to leave because of boredom. Bowling, scrabble, Hang a, pinball, VR games great times. Clean restrooms, good food, not 1 complaint.
We really enjoyed the atmosphere the first time we came. It was during the weekday so it wasn’t very busy! We tried again tonight around 5pm and were couldn’t bowl because I guess the lanes didn’t open until later and we also couldn’t play darts because of a private party. Needless to say we were excited to play some type of activity while eating and drinking - we ended up leaving immediately! Even though our experience tonight wasn’t great at all, we’ll still give it another try...eventually. Very clean, abundance of staff, nice menu, and games (IF available).
Very nice place. Fun VR set experience. Amazing Chocolate Milkshakes. Best fries too. I was there for a birthday celebration of a friend and beside killing it at the arcade machines, we also watched some stranger bowl for like. A solid 20 minutes. Just cheering the guy on.
Great adult hangout. Bowling lanes, old school arcade games, VR games. Scrabble. Private karaoke rooms. This place was pretty cool.
Had a blast here and would recommend that anyone looking for a fun night, should stop by and enjoy.
We enjoyed it immensely. The wait staff was great.
We often go on Sunday mornings with family. It's great for kids and adults alike. They have a great brunch menu, solid kids menu, and an awesome bloody mary bar. We rarely have to wait for access to bowling or any other games. Service is always friendly and prompt. If you're there early enough, it's easy to get parking in their lot.
Food was amazing, but our waiter was awful. Took our drink orders, waited 20 minutes to even put the orders in (we watched him socialize and screw around the entire time). Half our table got up and walked over to the round bar to get drinks while waiting for our ordered drinks. Finally served our ordered drinks after 35+ minutes of placing the order.
Nice place to chill out and play games
Food was good... drinks were okay... All in all nice location and par everything else.
I’ve been to a few Punch Bowl Social bars and this one sticks out. A very friendly staff that was helpful throughout our evening. Great cocktails!
Zack/Zach was an awesome server. We had my promotion party there and it was perfect! Got to try some new things and also the hostest Rachel Sydney and I forgot the 3rd were pretty darn cool too! Thanks a bunch Punch Bowl Social we will be back!!!
Nice place to drink and play a few games but food was overrated. My nephews chicken was bloody and had to be sent back food was pricey but not good. Drinks were great if thats all your doing ots fine.
Great happy hour specials even on a Friday evening. All of the servers are really fast and happy to help you. Parkimg is a bit of a challenge but overall I will go back.
Fun place. 1980s arcade games, ping pong, bowling and now. Food and service were great as well. The only suggestion I would make is brighter lighting. You couldn't see week enough to play ping pong.
Great atmosphere but pricey mixed drinks
Always great! And, the quesadilla and French dip and Emily the bartender rule!
Great bar with awesome bar games. Lots of fun, that being said the service was bad. Waitress was rude and impatient. Bartender was also slow and annoyed about people ordering drinks.... at a bar.... still a great place to go though.
Great Moscow Mules and plenty of fun stuff to do. Good music and a great atmosphere. Definitely a great place to hang out with your friends.
I remember the first time I came here the food was ridiculously good and the VR was fun. Well the VR hasn't changed and is still a good time but something has changed in the kitchen. Don't know what it is also the drinks seem a tad high for what you get. It sucks because I really want to like this place.
Delightful open concept venue. Great for birthdays, office parties. Food is decent.
So fun! Delicious watermelon punch! Fun games! Great atmosphere! Fun place! We will be back!
Great place we found it by accident when we were looking for bowling but so glad we did. The place is awesome, huge brick building with lock of character and very friendly and attentive staff. Few technical glitches with their virtual reality equipment, but that's understandable, these things happen. Everything was very reasonably priced. We would definitely return! Good job guys
This place was recommended to me by some friends who live up in Erie. We were in town for a siblings weekend and with 10 of us it can be tough to find something for everyone, but this place was good. The food was AWESOME. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because we didn't know you had to reserve a table so we had to spread out a bit and try to find places to eat...not a huge deal, but still made it a little challenging when we first got there. The wait for bowling was 2+ hours...we tried to play other games in the mean time, but everyone was ready to go after 2 hours. Also, the dart boards and darts are TERRIBLE so that didn't help.
Weekday night wasn't busy, Friday and Saturday nights it gets packed. Fun games, bowling, VR games, or just have a great cocktail at the bar. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, prices are average
I dined here the other day and got a soggy waffle. Asked for the floor manager who was reluctant to end her conversation with the employee behind the bar. So the manager I believe her name was Jess said it's supposed to be like that and made me feel like an idiot in front of my business partners. I would have given the food a second try here but after the experience with the manager I will not be returning.
Would be 5 stars if the dart board was ever available.
Great spot morning, noon and night. Love the corpse reviver as a fun alternative to a mimosa. Great brunch menu.
This place is a one stop party. They have pool bowling and even VR. This place is very big and open great place to link up with lots of friends.
Very fun, parking was rough though.
Fun place to play games and get some good food
A fun place with solid food. Arcade games, bowling, VR headsets, there's something for everyone.
Super fun place! So much to do!
Good food, good beer, nice place. I recommend it!
Cool, hip hangout spot. Lots of games to keep you and your friends entertained. Parking is a bit scarce.
Delicious burgers that come out quick qhen you're hungry!
Service is always TERRIBLE. Have been 6 or 7 times since they opened and never once had good service. Food is good, but over priced. Drinks are good, but overpriced. bowling with strings is pointless. Everything else is great
VR, Bowling, and Great Food...a good time was had by all! Went 2x on our vacation.
Just watched our waiter accidentally drop off three plates of chips and dip, leave them on our table long enough for us to pick at, and then rush them over to their correct table. Good job not wasting that queso, yo.
Good food. Awful service (no waitress greeting for 10 minutes, poor check-ins, forgot items, drinks took forever). Game prices are designed to leave you with excess balance that you can't redeem.
More vegan and gluten free options wouldn't go amiss but cool place, very friendly staff.
Fantastic place , great food and lots to do.. a real fun place
Awesome drinks! Cool photo booth, bowling alley, and games. Like a hipster Dave and Busters
Not a fancy place but the food was exquisite.Plenty parking near by, spacious environment, excellent service and drinks.
Love it. Never had a bad time here. Might be a bit overcrowded when events are hosted but that's to be expected. Otherwise its one of my faves in denver.
Great atmosphere and tasty food. They have a creative drinks menu (both alcoholic and not) and the service is attentive and friendly.
Liked the food, ran out of time to do any of the games and stuff but next time.
Wonderful spot with tons of games VR and drinks. They also have classic table style games like darts, pool and bowling. We had a blast and the staff was all very friendly! Hope to come back again soon. The restrooms were also very clean and parking Off-Broadway was not too bad.
The punch bowl was a different kind of atmosphere. The food wasn't what our party was use to but it did taste very well... The reason for the 1 star is once we were ready to cash out we did and the waitress mixed our card with someone else. They weren't very helpful on the matter just said "I'm sorry" your card isn't here".. They weren't very polite or anything. I WILL NOT come back .I do get accidents happen but I feel more could have been done on their other then an I'm sorry..
Held a group work event for about 55 guests, and they had an absolute blast! They loved the food, the games, activities. Perfect, perfect team get-together after a packed day of meetings. My group event coordinator, Deanna, was fantastic to work with. Highly recommend for large groups or team events of any kind.
The food is excellent; the drinks are decent but sometimes variable in quality; the games are pretty expensive. Sit at the bar for the best drinking experience, and don't miss the fresh juices if you don't like liquor or you overindulged lsat night. Their brunch menu is a low-key star, and while you'll struggle to get a table on a Saturday night, the next morning you'll have no trouble getting monkey bread french toast.
This place was fun until I realized my receipts did not match what they took out of my bank account. I went 4/13/19, my server was ELIZA and she changed my tip amount..... THANKS! - left a voicemail for the manager and did not get a call back, luckily my bank refunded me because I had my receipt!
Fantastic family fun times. Took the wife and kids. We had street tacos of all variety and then settled in for a bit of VR gaming for a hour. Good times. Good times. We will be back on our next trip to Denver.
This place is D&B on steroids. Tons of fun and a great work outing spot!
I have been to both locations. For overall feel and atmosphere, I prefer the Stapleton location. There are plenty of games; from bowling, to board games. There are activities for both adults and kids alike. The Broadway location is in a historic building, which gives the whole experience a warm , old feel. We were there for a group celebration, so the food was made for a buffet format. There were fixings for tacos, which weren't bad. The highlights for our group was a Philly slider and a vegan slider. Both were great! The drink prices were at market value. It's hard to say of they have a happy hour price incentive. The vibe at both places is good for both social and family settings. Give this place a try!
Amazing venue. Bowling, billiards, great food. Historic building renevated very cool. Went there and did Karaoke with friends.
Very fun atmosphere, amazing food! Lots of fun stuff to do.
This place has a ton to offer. An upstairs bar with a pool table a foosball table and some older arcade games while downstairs has bowling and VR. The food is pretty good to but that's not why you're there.
Service was very slow and they were not that busy for a Saturday. It took our waiter 30 minutes just for drinks and by the time she brought out my food my eggs were cold
Very good food, good drinks and fun vibe! Small complaint: Karaoke room is awfully small for 8-adults.
Fun place with great poblano mac!
A good place to hang out on a weekend. Typically no cover charge. They serve food pretty late and they have plenty of games, bowling, arcade games etc. Can get pretty loud on the weekend but it's easier to navigate during the weekdays. Not a dance party if that's your thing
A fun place to meet up with several friends. Bowling, bollards and a few video games. The menu is limited while the food is good. Some really good crafted drink selections. Sometimes parking can be a challenge.
Had a lovely lunch on the patio with friends. Falafel burger was a little bland but the atmosphere here can't be beat.
Soo much fun!! Yummy food and great drinks!!! Nice place to get together!!
They got rid of a lot of the house sodas, and mine was a month expired. Still tasted good. I had the burger and it was tasty as well
Food was really good and the atmosphere and the staff were all really chill.
Great food, lots of games. Drinks were good
All in all I enjoy this place for the most part. The prices can be a little steep for drinks, but they are served with good service. The arcade games could be better, as they are a main draw for me. Having at least 4 or 5 GOOD fighters would be a big draw for the Fighting Game Community. Tekken Tag, Street Fighter 3: Third Strike, Street Fighter 2 Turbo(Champs edition is okay for now), MVC2, Soul Calibur....
Best chili I’ve ever had!
Friendly staff, great drink options and prices. Perfect for a chill afternoon.
This is a quirky place with a casual atmosphere. Great for hanging out with friends. The green chorizo fries were delicious, and they have several mocktail options if you're not drinking.
Great meal great people.
Had one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. The server Rachel was rude and forgot half of our food order and took forever to get us drinks. Simply unacceptable. The only saving grace was the manager Jessica. She had checked on us earlier in the night before everything went south and then we grabbed her at the end to show our frustration. She took care of us and gave us a gift card for next time. I was planning on never coming back here but fo her I will give it another shot.
1st time I've ever been to the Punch Bowl. I was impressed with how many different activities there are to do.
Nice place to bring a date or meet with a group. Bartenders are solid. The VR is way too expensive, which is a shame
The place has a cool atmosphere, great games to play, delicious food, and excellent service. Don't want to go here if you really want to talk to more than one person at a time. I took one start of for this, as we went there for a birthday party, and it's marketed as "social." Beyond that it has billiards, Scrabble, giant Jenga, skeeball, VR games, darts, karaoke, and much more to offer. Fun place!
Terrific menu, delicious brunch and great service. PBS has a great atmosphere and we've always enjoyed cocktails here. This was our first brunch here and everything was outstanding. Kudos to Bennie (Benny?), our server as well!
Great experience if you're looking for activities to do while you're out drinking. Very inviting atmosphere!
The atmosphere is great! Nice bar selection, plenty of seating in multiple areas, and the amount of activities to choose from can keep you entertained for quite awhile. Bowling, darts, pinball, board games, VR, etc. One thing I really enjoyed was the variety of music they played. Most bars seem to stick to rap, but Punch Bowl was playing everything from each end of the spectrum. It can be a bit pricey if you want to do some of the activities. But I'm from SD so prices are much different for the same activities where I live.
95 year old grandfather and I love this place we go have lunch once a week
If you want to spend your night waiting on unhappy staff to want to serve you, then this is the place to be. This is the most discourteous wait staff I've seen in Denver! I do Not recommend this place 'for a good time’.
The food is so good. The atmosphere is cool and the servers are nice.
I'm in crazy
Came here for a work party. There was plenty to do, fun games. Food was alright. The chips were too salty for me, the taco bar didn’t have enough topping options, and the cupcakes were dry. Their brownies were delicious though! If you need a place to hold a get together or party this is a great place. Lots of space and lots to do. No one got bored. I’m going to try and come back some time with my fiancé to try the signal family side of the restaurant sometime soon!
This is a great place to come with friends relax and have a good time. They have all kinds of games to keep you entertained for hours. Bowling, darts, arcade games, and not to mention my favorite virtual reality. I would recommend this place to people who are not heavy drinkers because drinks can get expensive here but if your looking for entertainment this is the place to go.
This place is so much fun I definitely plan on coming here more often!!
The Food is inventive and INCREDIBLE!!! The atmosphere in the Punch Bowl Social is incredible and inventive. The upscale bar and restaurant also features 8 lanes of bowling, plus a game room area, an upstairs area with games that one can rent out (as was the case during my visit), a photo booth, and outside seating. The food here was just amazing and very different from what you'd expect at a restaurant where bowling is the featured entertainment. The menu offers something for everyone and is very different from what one might expect. I highly recommend the hot chocolate cake and my favourite is the German chocolate dessert. I cannot wait to return to try out their breakfast menu! We had a large party on this visit that started with 8 and grew and our server was just right on top of things and did not say a word once we doubled in size. She was very accommodating and understanding. After eating the party went into the bar and game area to bowl, what a wonderful evening. Enjoy dining here, but understand it will be very pricey to have a wonderful experience. You do pay for what you get and I was happy with what I got until the bill arrived.
The food is very sub par. I've never actually been able to bowl here. Bowling area is always packed.
Nice little spot, cool games and retro bowling
Awesome spot in downtown Denver. Definitely would recommend to check out with a group of friends.
Had an early dinner with friends. Waitress was clueless. When a stray drink ended up on my tab, she removed it and put it on my friend's tab without consulting him. Food was below average. Same with the drinks. Maybe just don't eat there.
Awesome place, lots of fun and took great care of our group!
We went for one of my husband's company partners and it was a lot of fun!
This was my first time here and I had a blast. The food and the drinks were great. I'm definitely comimg back here when I visit Denver again.
There's so much fun stuff to do here. The drinks and food are amazing and the service too. We had a great time here, I can't wait to come back the next time we are in Denver. I wish we had something like this in Florida.
PS had a great atmosphere and attentive staff. We had a party with a reserved space and everything was organized, clean and on time. I would definitely recommend them!
Had a small party. Food was very good. Very nice buffet. Great Happy Hour prices till 6
This place was all around awesome. Great service, great vibe, great drinks, and great food. We made it just in time to enjoy some happy hour drinks and apps. The food came out hot and fresh and tasted absolutely amazing, the drinks were good as well. It was sort of far from where we were staying, but using the scooters made it a fun and easy trip down here.
Good menu with a lot of favorite options for everyone. Pricing is really reasonable too. The atmosphere is fun and not too hip for its own good.
This place beats dave and busters by a million. The food is actually incredibly amazing on top of the fun vibe. I would come here during happy hour and get discounts on appetizers. The drinks are pretty solid too so if you are wanting a really good drink this is the place.
Love this place! Wish that some of the other games (like billiards) were a little cheaper, but love the variety of games they have. Drinking punch is a nice change of pace too!
Nice atmosphere. Good for families and adults at the same time.
Lots of OLD game equipment but still fun. Food is mediocre but that's not why you're there. I liked the old pinball machines. OK so I did karaoke but don't tell anybody.
Visiting from out of town, we stayed down the street and this was an easy walk to dinner. I'm so glad we stopped in! Friday evening around 8PM, it was busy but not too crowded. We sat at a hightop near the bar, our server was Blake, he was perfectly timed and did not disappoint. Great service and great menu recommendations. We will definitely recommend!!
Love this place easier to get in and get around then the one down on Broadway. and it's not full of pretentious 20-something hipsters.
Cool place! Great food! Fun cocktails! Want to check it out for late night sometime.
Atmosphere was great. Appetizers very tasty and everyone was enjoying their cocktails. The meal itself was not so hot. Although those in our party who ordered burgers really liked them.
We are from Dallas and thought this one would be a lot bigger since the one out here is huge. Had trouble using the VR and the upstairs games were limited and mostly just old arcade games. Overall thought the Dallas location is much better.
Awesome place. Good family and friend joint. Great food and wonderful staff. Will go again.
Had reservations for 6. Arrived and table was ready but only set for 4. All the young girl at the register could say was sorry. They suggested we go outside. Wind blowing and beginning to rain. Not an option. Then were told we could find something in the open seating bar area. Had to pull two tables together on our own. Service almost not existent. Very slow. Drinks OK but overpriced. Food sucked - late being delivered and very cold. Will not be going back. Not a venue for anyone over 30.
We had a great time, kids and adults alike, playing VR and bowling and eating. Delicious tacos, appetizers, and a great atmosphere. I wish VR was cheaper, but other activities were priced ok. We will be back.
I very much liked the cauliflower nachos.
Visited from florida and I loved the atmosphere and the people
Great place! Bowling, pig pong, Scrabble ad and so much more. Drinks are great too!
This place is super fun to get together with a group of people. You can all split a punch bowl together, which is a great deal because once you break down the prices in respect to how many people are in your group, it is probably cheaper than ordering an individual cocktail. I went on a night where they were doing trivia which seemed like a lot of fun. They also have bowling, ping pong, a VR set up, and some other activities, but they all cost extra. Darts are free though, as long as you take the darts back at the end of your game. It can be a little difficult to find seating if it is a busy night. Overall this is a great place to visit though!
Always some fun stuff to do and the food during the day is great! But it gets SUPER crowded and has a lot of "Bros"
I recently came back here for a work happy hour and had a good time. They now have VR which is cool but they are not interconnected.
Great atmosphere, pinball machines and skee ball, what else could I ask for?
Pretty cool place to hang out, with awesome drinks. I was disappointed that the $12 appetizer for wings came with 6 small wings. Especislly since the server said it was enough to feed one person. Very overpriced!
Fun and great food filled with flava
Just a great way to spend an evening with friends. Lots of games, great drinks, and good food! Their hot wing sauce is
Besides the $10/hr Scrabble, the place was lively, quite family friendly, but hosts a feel-good vibe for those taking groups of young professionals out as well. I didn't try the food but heard the Sunday make your own Bloody Marys and Mimosas were tasty!
Terrific menu with delicious, elevated comfort food. The bowling, darts and beautiful bar make it a blast.
Fun place! Food is good. Service spotty & sometimes not very friendly, even when it is a slow day.
Lots of fun, plenty of activities and food is pretty good (I’ll admit to having low expectations walking in). One nuisance was that the activities weren’t all connected to one tab, so every time you switched a station, you’d have to start a new tab. Other than that, staff were friendly and you’ll have a great time.
Food was bsolutely delicious. Be prepared to pay a little above other restaurants but totally worth it. Will definitely come again with more friends.
Very nice people work there. But if you're sensitive to lights, loud sounds and a lot of people you may not be ok here. Fun and a great idea but very hard to hang here. Way too loud. Music's loud all the people talking and the flashy lights w their sounds on machines can cause health issues for those with PTSD or epilepsy. Just be forewarned. Great fun if you're not sensitive.
Loved this place. Food is quite good. Many good options. Open seating. Games are little expensive. Exceptional bar. Good experience. Service is good.
Great games, good drinks, lots of fun
The french toast was absolutely phenomenal and my group very much enjoyed the chicken and waffles. Very nice that they have vegetarian options, great service.
Manager was proactive about resolving a small issue with food. Service was very good.
I was disappointed with the service. We waited unusually long times for service so long that other waiters had to help us 3 times. Menu sucked poor food selection. Drinks were good but over priced. I never leave small tips but she should be happy I left 3 bucks.
Great place to just kick back meet new people.
Nice place great drinks great food and attentive service!
Decent place, catering is not that great, chicken was as dry as my great grandmothers toenail collection. Steak or brisket whatever it was, was super stringy and tough like an old price of leather that got soaked in wax. Otherwise a fun place.
We've celebrated my sister's birthday here and had a great time. At first, we were a bit disappointed as the space we rented wasn't ready on time. The food and entertainment were great. The staff was attentive and friendly. We will be back for sure.
Pricey but fun. Drinks are on the steep side but staff is very accommodating & nice. Bowling was also expensive and the pins are reset by string (serious bowlers will be disappointed!). The rest of the games were fun and staff was ready to help if issues came up.
Looks nice, but food sucks
