This place has a very nice ambiance, quite nice decor, and the place smells quite nice. It has a very 1960’s vibe, and they play classic music a lot which is a pretty cool touch. The bowling balls themselves are not in the best condition, with a lot of dents and scratches. The lanes and scoring system do have a tendency to malfunction and act weird while in the middle of a game, and quite fittingly at the most infuriating of times. Things like this can be seen when one bowls, then makes the spare, and has the entire frame not count. It’s funny once, but can become very annoying. And the biggest problem is the staff, who seem to be extremely unapproachable and grumpy, and who seem to have given up on life. They are not helpful at all, and are really quite mean. If you live close to here, I would recommend coming. However if you don’t, then I don’t advise it.

Bowling is always a fun activity. I had a great time bowling in the dark and listening to good music. I just wish that the music was a little louder. The fun atmosphere and pins crashing into one another drowned out the music a little.

Friday night Cosmic bowling is $21 a person, starts at 8 p.m., includes unlimited bowling until 2 a.m. and shoe rental - SCORE! Definitely a deal for me and my buds who bowl like wild people. Food/Entertainment: Rizzo's pizzas are greasy, delicious and awesome to wash down with pitchers of beer. The bar has live music on the Friday nights I've been there... usually rock bands doing Kansas or Lynyrd Skynyrd. There are 40 lanes with one half just regular ol' bowling and other other half dark and black-lighty. They've got TVs alternating sports and TBS reruns and a variety of music blasting 80s, 90s and today's hits during frames. Verdict: It feels divey and may look a little sketch from outside with its neon sign down to just two letters now, but don't let that deter you.

Very well run. You can tell its family owned right when you walk in the door. Great with kids!! Lots of bright light weight balls and the shoes were all new with Velcro.

A decent place to go bowl. It's looks a bit dated but I think it's part of the charm. It's actually kind of retro. The garlic bread bites here were really good. Has a few arcade games. It's a good spot if you want somewhere less crowded than gable house down the street

If you're looking for a viney, retro plave to bowl, this is the place for you! It feels like you're stepping back into time. The only thing is it seems a little dirty, so wash your hands before and after.

We love to bowl here. They participate in Kids Bowl Free, where all kids under 18 get two free games all summer long. Every day if you want! They have great birthday party packages here too. The food is pretty good and the bathrooms are clean.

A lot of local landmarks are being bought out. It's sad, but a sign of the times. PV Bowl is a place you can go and everyone knows your name!! We all love knowing when we come here, it's our place.....between bowling, catching a good band in the bar area or grabbing a slice of pizza......

The bar here has a good selection of beers on tap. Two drinks for $12. This Thursday the live band was Harbor Grooves. It entertained and encouraged the audience to participate and dance. The band was fun and engaging.

They have an Adult Jr. league on Mondays and 3 coaches for the kids on Saturdays. For kids bowling it is great and they have many specials. They also put fresh oil for the leagues. The Pizza and bear is great. Average price for bowling alley pizza but the bear is cheaper than most places and they have Stella and Hef for $4 on mondays. They are fixing the lanes, New Carpet new paint and the bathrooms have been fixed. It still looks like a classic bowling alley.

Used to bowl league here. Looking to get back into it. Recently updated screens and TVs a big plus. Staff in the alley, snack shop and bar are all friendly. Clean place. I have my own shoes and ball. Can't tell you much about the house balls and shoes. Doesn't get as crowded as other local alleys. Good prices. Always have a good time here

PV Bowl is a nice place staffed by great people. Yes the decor and equipment are a little dated...but I would rather go somewhere that the staff makes every experience as fun and pleasant as possible. They recently changed their grill inside, with the food being SO much better. Nice selection, well made, and they have their own pizza oven too! Now on league nights, I eat there instead of on the way there! Joined a league a couple months back, and like any bowling league it's full of odd characters and good people. Not to mention it's also managed by the house, who does a great job of keeping all 12 teams coming back each week. Come on down and join us there!

Went to Pv Bowl last night with my family to try out my brand new cyclone bowling ball I had custom made. After the second frame I felt something weird on the ball, after closer inspection I noticed a huge chunk taken out. Somehow the ball was beat around so ball in the ball return it was damaged. Wasn’t a huge deal, but I decided to show the manager and, to my surprise his response was. “That’s a cheap plastic ball, that happens” I was like wow great customer service, thanks for all the help and making me feel good about the situation. Anyway, I will never Bowl there again and now I need to take my ball to the shop and have it repaired. Sincerely Nick. P.s They only serve warm beer.

With $15 pitchers and endless bowling from 9-12pm, it’s a fun way spend a Saturday night with friends! PV bowl is run down and could use a serious face-lift, but if you can look past all the gloom then good times are ahead. It can get crowded but you can wait at the built-in bar while you wait for a lane to open up. They recently remodeled the bar area and there’s one pool table in the back. They also have a small stage and dance floor to do karaoke.

Went to meet with friends at beginning staff was ok. More friends arrived. Bottom line our food orders got mixed up. Food Cashier has terrible customer service. Cashier at front desk went to our lane and started screaming because "we had played our games already" but yet the board was clean and it said nothing about us having to pay again. Other cashier with attitude told us that the table we had with our food on it didn't belong there and we had to set it to the side. Place was clean and nice but the service was just terrible. Won't be coming back for sure

I have visited this bowling alley on a few occasions and each time have had consistent experiences. My fiancés band has played there and we love the new stage setup and dive bar feeling. Unfortunately, the service at the bar is beyond awful. Every time I go there I have to wait over 20 minutes to get a water down drink, and sometimes I won't even get served at all. I am sad to say after my most recent experience at the PV bowl bar I will not be returning it's too frustrating.

AMAZING! I had my big induction ceremony event here. I worked with Charlotte who was absolutely amazingly helpful. Everyone had an amazing time, we had a beautiful meeting room, with inside and outside space. The pizza was super yummy, the bartender was friendly and the drinks were cheap. Serioulsy, everyone had a great time, the staff was great and I highly reccomend this spot for events and just plain old awesome bowling!

Use to work in the area, when i didn't feel like fighting traffic, especially on fridays. I would stop by for a couple of beers and pizza, man that really saved my sanity! Have to find a place like this where i am now....not that the traffic is as bad as southern cali!

I went to PV Bowl with my friends a couple days ago. Upon arriving I was excited to bowl, that would change within 10 minutes. When talking to the person working the register at the front of the store, he asked if we all needed bowling shoes. I had thought that bowling shoes weren't a necessity for bowling so i asked "Do we need to have bowling shoes" at which he sneered "Is that a serious question?" "Yes" I replied, "That's a stupid question, you're wearing a bowling shirt you should know" he stated sarcastically, "I just found this shirt in my house" I rebutted, "I really don't care" he said. This ruined the experience, you'd think that the person who is the first employee you see upon entering the building would be more nice. Everything else was good, other than that one guy. When leaving he wasn't there, so I don't know what happened to him; but he needs some lightening up.

Staff was rude... the place is big, food is okay but they need friendly people that want to be there. Friend and I wanted new experience here. I arrived before her, we were able to get a lane but front desk guy was rude, does not even look at you. Once she got there she said the front desk guy had an attitude,did not even look at them either and said there was no more lanes available. I ended up sharing our lane with them. Read reviews about staff being friendly big no. Never coming back here.

From a truly bygone era. I wonder....Was customer service so worn out and exhausting in 1968? Appreciated the ambiance, smells, and even the malfunctioning lanes. All the cashiers looked and acted like they gave up on life. Ruined an otherwise incredible historic location and experience.

Just horrible!! They were asking for a $40 cover charge which the food was pizza and a hat they did not have enough tables people were standing. There were two old lady that had shorts short dresses on and dancing with the young guys so dirty it was disgusting it's that was my mother I would drag her off that dance floor I give this place of one!!!
