Here you will see all the reviews of real people who are consuming the services of Mission Bowling Club (Bowling Alley) near California.
To this day this firm gets a score of 4.4 out of 5 and this rating has been calculated on 432 reviews.
As you can read, its rating is good, and it is based on a very high number of scores, so we can think that the assessment is quite credible. If many people have bothered to give their review when they've done well with the business, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to place opinions when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Bowling Alley is classified in the category of Bowling alley.
This place was pretty great. The drinks were amazing and I mean... bowling. What’s not to love? Bartenders were quick and helpful, and the overall vibe was phenomenal. The bowling attendant area tricks drunk people into thinking it’s a bar which was pretty great to watch. I agree with other reviews that the staff really helped make the experience what it was. Two thumbs up!
A fun evening with colleagues. I liked the intimate nature of the place as there are only 6 lanes.
Went to Mission Bowling for a friend's birthday party. Amazing bowling area and super friendly staff! Would highly recommend! tip: Reserve lanes as soon as they become available as they tend to go out fast.
I just attended a company event here. Imagine a bunch of tech people getting shwastey. The staff of the Mission Bowling Club were incredibly kind, attentive and so forgiving for all of our noise and alcohol fueled mischief. You all are awesome.
Came for a company offsite. Food was tasty, bowling was fun, hip atmosphere. Not sure how hard it is to get a lane for yourself but makes a great stop for teams.
Great service and food. Nothing is as described
Great place to bowl! The food is terrible though. Ordered the fried chicken (bland), moules frites and fried chips (would have tasted great if the chips are piping hot).
Pros: Great beer selection, pretty good cocktails, bowling is fun. Cons: There can be a bit of a wait, it can be pretty pricey for what it is, seems like they have a shortage of bowling balls sometimes (or everyone uses the ball I want! :P).
We showed up on a Monday night as a work-group of 5 people. Friendly faces greeted us outside, walking in, and where you get the bowling shoes. Except at the bar. At the bar, some workers were coming and going who may or may not acknowledge your existence. 4 of us attempted to get drinks from the bar, which was very busy - this is also where we felt disappointed/ignored/non-existent. We have no problem waiting in line for our turn to get drinks but at least acknowledge us with a head-nod and/or a "be right with you" after looking in our general direction. When we were finally given some acknowledgment direct attention, we were able to place our drink and food orders. The drink and food orders came out eventually and were great. Oh, we did get bumped down at our reservation time for some reason (i.e., were asked to wait because some other group was given priority or something), and had to wait extra time before we got to play. To compensate, they covered our group's shoe rental cost. Other than service experience at the bar, everything was great and we had a good time.
Great little bowling alley, there are about 8 lanes or so. We were here for a private event and it was a great venue! They have an upstairs area that overlooks the bowling area, so it was a great hangout area. They bartenders were very friendly, made some great drinks as well! Would definitely recommend as a venue for your events!
I went there for a private event and really like it. It is small and very neighborhoody feeling. The appetizers were good as well as the drink selection. I can't speak for how it is on regular days, but if you want to organize something for a large of group people definitely consider this place. Staff was friendly.
Love bowling
A fun and pretty intimate adult bowling spot in the Mission District. Bring some friends, have a drink, and bowl! They have some great food items on the menu as well.
The staff is amazing! Very friendly and very attentive. Clean, upscale, great menu, and a ton of fun. We will be coming back for sure!
Great service. Love that food.
The burger here is what dreams are made of. THAT'S THAT. You must try this and the fried chicken!! The bowling experience is pretty whatever though. I wouldn't come to bowl since I've heard mixed reviews about it (I personally came here to bowl and the machine broke. My friend came here and they were actually rushed to finish).
Mission bowling is a great concept but high prices and the low number of lanes kinda hold it back from being great. During our trip we finally got an open lane and after the first person played their first frame the lane broke...we finished our pitcher and moved on. It would seem worth it to go back for the food (looked good).
Loved celebrating my birthday here with my friends and family! We were able to reserve two lanes for 10 people during their "family friendly" hours and had a blast. Mission Bowling Club can easily be missed if you aren't looking for it, but when you come across the sign, you step into a place that feels so removed from the rest of the Mission. Our bowling was based on the reserved time rather than the number of games played, so for 10 of us, we had 2 hours and made it through ALMOST 2 games. Comfy couches on either side of the lane for people to sit on, but there isn't a whole lot of other space in the bowling alley portion of it. There were some glitches with pins not being reset, but the people working there easily handled it.
Good beer Good food Vegan friendly Nice folks
Great food and drinks!
Cool place but was told FOUR HOUR WAIT. Make sure to make reservations unless you want to wait hours.
Burger is good not great
Fun place to hang out. Total hipster place. 6 lanes only. Full bar, signature cocktails and plenty of craft beers in bottles and on tap.
A superb surprise of an evening, a delicious burger; with great service, very attentive with the refills, and the convenience of the bowling lanes so close to the bar! Lovely staff, pity they couldn't help my bowling game :( Had a blast, I'll be back!
The chicken and waffle was fantastic. Previously I had the mission burger, and I am looking forward to eating the vegan burger. The service is friendly and attentive. Moreover, it doesn't hurt that they have Moonlight pilsner on tap; one of my favorite breweries from the north bay
Hip bowling alley with great food and cocktails? Hell yea! Perfect for a night with friends or a fun little date. The cocktails are really inventive and executed perfectly. Definitely a must if you love bowling/ food/ cocktails (or just fun in general).
Miserable bar staff (try to smile every now and then and perhaps be more polite and helpful!) Food staff was even more miserable and rude!! Not coming back for sure...
Quaint an wonderful
Small, slightly upscale bowling alley with six lanes but feels very open and spacious. High exposed warehouse ceiling, old school mahogany couches, vibrant art. Nice mix of new school, old school, and industrial. It's still casual enough that you'll spot a few plaid shirts. They have a good beer selection and cocktail menu. Very very good food here. I would be willing to just come here to eat. Highly recommend the Mission Burger -- it's one of the best in the burgers in the city! Very thick, always perfectly cooked and juicy. Other tasty food options include the mussels & bone marrow and the farro risotto with mushrooms. This place gets pretty busy so it may be difficult to get a lane if you're going casually with your own group of friends. Great for company parties though!
Atrtisanal drinks here are whatsup...! Two of the bartenders are amazing. Soni is bombdotcom! The atmosphere is cute but really too loud. The food is good. The menu at times is strange. Customer service is hit or miss, sometimes good. Their hours are very strange for a bar/bowlingalley/eatery they close at or before 10:00pm weekdays. They are often closed to the public for private parties... I've come to find this out several times only after arriving there to be turned away which is of course a big bummer. I've also had them turn away a party of 12 friends for brunch and drinks because we brought our own cake for someone's birthday....if you do the math it makes no sense for them to have turned us away, but ok...we spent our hundreds elsewhere. BTW they don't have anygluten free deserts and I'm glutennintolarant truly so the cake issue was a pisset. I keep going back because it's the closest place to have a drink with friends after work. I've had good drinks there but I'm often frustrated. They can't see the forest for the trees.
Super fun, central bowling spot with a great menu and lovely staff. The only place I've ever been to bowl where I could get a gastropub-quality meal beforehand. Minus one star for the glitchy scorekeeping software--maybe it was just our lane, but the last time we were there, my group had bowled frames go missing and occasionally bonus strikes attributed where there previously were none. The fellow at the bowling counter was helpful and changed our scores when we asked, but if you're serious about your game play this could be an annoying bit of extra action.
Fun group date spot or place to get together with friends. Food is not your typical bowling alley dining with plenty of "gourmet" options and an impressive drink menu.
Good food and good prices for the city.
The drink or off the hook and the food. The place to be lay back.
Festive bowling. Tasty menu. Tedious craft cocktails. Amazing wonderful staff. Go bowling win or lose. Get a beer and a strike.
Fun times. Great food decent wine. Friendly service.
Wow! I had the time of my life with my fellow Google Local Guides from a lover the world. The food was awesome and the bowling, the noise, the hysteria, the music and the interaction was all something that will resonate in my lifetime. Mission Bowling Club is the perfect spot to hang out with friends and family. It's also a great spot for single to meet and interact.
Good service and outdoor eating with bowling makes for an excellent vibe in the mission
Awful burger. Sure it's juicy and the flavors are not bad, but the bun was falling apart, the patty was literally falling apart. Way too greasy. Far from the over hyped reviews you read. It's fine but wouldn't recommend it.
This place is cool, pretty small but they have some massively thick bacons for brunch.
Fun atmosphere, surprisingly good grub (don't miss the fried chicken), solid cocktails. Friendly service.
This place was really cool. It's a bowling alley with a scratch kitchen and craft bar. The Mac and cheese is really good. If you want a good drink done right, hit up the bartender by the name of Sean, he will up you with something that will get you right for the night. This is a very cool spot to hang out with friends on a Friday night in the Mission District.
I originally scoffed at this place because it seemed bougie. But, I went for a bowling session and dinner with friends, and it was actually a really good experience! The bowling was fun, and the food was FREAKING DELICIOUS. I had the fried chicken and the chili verde pork fries. Both were insanely good. I would actually come back just to eat there.
Bowling alley with great finger food and bar.
I didn’t bowl but the food was really good. And so were the drink specials. I got the burger that definitely one of the best ones I had in San Francisco. Frys maybe a tiny bit over salted. The drink I got was a Japanese whiskey with plum juice and I absolutely loved it
Awesome atmosphere! Highly recommend. Great food, great drinks
Good food and great atmosphere
Clean location, excellent food, well maintained bowling lanes, the brussel sprouts were a surprise winner where food was concerned, tacos were also good.
Pretty awesome alley! Has drinks food fun!
Great brunch. Love the covered patio seating.
Long waits but fun place to bowl. Bartenders were incredibly nice, even remade a drink for me when I ordered one I didn't like
Cool setup, though on the small side w only 6 lanes. Bar has some great beers on tap, liquor as well. Rental gear is on the so-so side, but you're probably here more for the social, less so the sport aspect of bowling anyways. Group food catering was mixed, sliders are great, fried chicken should be skipped.
Great date night location. Not exactly cheap but the old fashioned was well made and the bowling made for a memorable night. Keep in mind there are few lanes so expect to wait a bit.
I observed heard someone on the street mention this place for grabbing a bite and a beer. I stopped in and was pleased. The bar had an open spots. I had a Death and Taxes black lager and the fried chicken appetizer. Both hit the spot. Attentive bartenders and quick service. I'll come back and bring friends for bowling.
It's a super fun place with about six bowling alleys and a great bar in the middle of Mission District. The service is quick and wonderful.
great food and drinks!
Default place to go for brunch. Almost always am greeted by name. Crab Benedict is really good. With a bloody mary what's not to like? Pulled pork sliders are the best dinner appetizer. Not bowled here but lanes are always busy.
Great medium sized place, 6 lanes, nice bar/food service (medium spicy tasty ribs recommended), I'll go there again
Nice vibe, tasty food, adults only.
I get it it's San Francisco but the food managed to be both not filling and expensive. The actual bowling lanes were well maintained (no rails!) the rate with shoes ended up being around $60/hr which isn't too bad if you go with a few friends but kind of steep for just 2 people
Great old building with only 5 lanes but a very friendly vibe.
Amazing spot with a good atmosphere and extremely nice staff
There's usually a wait but the venue is really nice and intimate, and the drinks and music are really good.
We had access to an open bar, of which I indulged in their bitter lemon & summer smash. The bitter lemon is made with house-made bitter lemon soda & vodka. Bright, tart & geared for lemonade enthusiasts, it was a nice start to a magical evening. The summer smash, however, was amazing & dangerously smooth. Consisting of bullleit bourbon, ginger beer, rothman & winter apricot, combier, seasonal fruit & lemon, I had at least 3 as far as I can recall.
Probably the best bowling place I've ever been. The food and cocktails are fantastic. The fried chicken is out of this world. Not at all the stereotypical grungy bowling alley...
Nicer than the average bowling alley, but also not an outrageously expensive night out. With only 6 lanes, reservations are highly recommended (if not required?), but you get a much more intimate experience. Good selection of cocktails and beer; the fried chicken comes highly recommended although I tried the burger and it was only OK. Vegan options! Perfect for a night out with friends or with a hot date.
Went here on a Monday, no wait for lanes or service! Venue is quirky in a good way, great place for dates or outings with a small group of friends!
Fun place. Food is pretty good.
I attended a corporate event here and the spread they put on was awesome. A really good venue with plenty of spaces to set up your own needs for your event. Friendly bar and bowling staff. The lanes work well.
Delicious burgers and milkshakes. Mission Bowling Club can be completely customized. Staff was nice! But that little something extra was missing for 4 stars.
These people are amazing! Sick a great little hipster bowling alley with privacy of you want to rent out the whole place for a group of 20-40 people
Nice place where you can play and order some eat and drinks. Friendly and helpful staff.
I had a very difficult experience than most people. I ordered a medium Mission burger, but the burger was severely undercooked-almost raw. When I told my waiter, Mitch, about my burger he said, "what do you want me to do about it?" I asked for a different meal- the fried chicken appetizer. The chicken was also undercooked, but I chose not to say anything. Once I got my check, I saw the server literally watching me sign it from afar. That was the first time I never left a tip. I understand that the food was not his fault, but his attitude and lack of apology was what did it. I was really disappointed as I had been anticipating going to this place for months. Hopefully you will have a better experience.
Pretty cool space with a bar but seating seems limited. Their drinks are unique and delicious...I highly recommend it!
The bowling is a bit expensive, but the food and drinks are worth the price!
I took my out-of-town guests here one weekend when it was lashing rain in the city. The lanes were full when we arrived, so we sat down for a nice brunch and by the time we'd finished, something opened up. I can't remember what we ate, but I do remember it was good. Maybe slightly over on the rich and creamy side. Drinks were also good. I especially liked the TBD - the first person to bowl a perfect game gets to name it. Lanes were nice. Staff were helpful. Bonus: They sell socks with pompoms in case you forget yours.
Fun friendly place with good food and fun drinks.
Great lively club with various areas to host different parts of your event in. Only about five lanes so it might be busy.
You've gotta love a bar with bowling lanes. Make no mistake - this isn't a bowling alley that happens to have a bar, but the other way round. Barstaff will make you excellent cocktails! The place can be booked out for events, so check ahead that they're open.
Im a terrible bowler... The ambiance is really upscale for a bowling alley.... More like bohemian bowling for the upper echelon of the cool and hip in SF...
Upscale bowling venue with great food & beverage options.
I've been here a few times and I have two thoughts. For bowling: Mediocre. The lanes are not as well oiled as a real bowling lane would be. Not that I'm some pro bowler, but at least try and maintain them so they work as expected. Food and service: The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. Overall: Bowling was frustrating but hanging out having some beers with my friends was fun. I would still come back.
Popping....
Go for the Bowling, definitely. The food wasn't bad, I was just disappointed as it is advertised as "upscale" comfort food, and the burger was very plain and lacking in flavor. The quesadilla wasnt bad though. The majority of the staff here is awesome, from the bartenders to the, waitress, to the 2 guys handling the bowling lanes, the nicest most down to earth people. Everyone for the most part was very warm and welcoming and they did an awesome job. Saving the worst for last. The manager/host and the security guy were pretty uptight. They almost turned me away due to my DL being expired (which I would understand) but the way in which they talked to me, was very condescending. I was told i could go in to bowl but if i was seen with a drink in my hand, he would have to kick me out (again i completely understood) but then the same host brings me a drink menu. His overall attitude was very temperamental and snobby.
Had a eco lab delivery there yesterday and met the most majestic chic! A. Lopez, can't say enough nice things about her, personality charisma and polite, helped me get my delivery done promptly and such a nice gal! I'll be coming back soon
It's a great date spot for when you want to get active and competitive. They also have solid drinks and food. The burger is delish! Oh, if you forget your socks, you can buy some cute argyle socks from behind the counter! I'd also come back for a birthday or team building event.
3$ PBR.
Their food is delicious, they have the Mission Burger there, if any of you remember that. Great brunch, great dinner. They also have amazing and innovative drinks. The bowling is fun, too, if a bit pricey. But the economics work out if you have a big group, since they charge by the hour.
The wine on tap sounds weird but it was actually good and inexpensive
Not really a venue for being a serious bowler, but fun nonetheless. Reservations are pretty much a must since it's so small. They have some great non-alcoholic drinks and their food menu looked good (though we didn't order anything)
Cool little bowling club
Love that they display local artists' work - new artwork rotate every few months. Fun place with excellent service!
Great atmosphere and great veggie burger
Great beer food and cold beers plus a mean game of bowling with friends! What more can one ask for? Good service from the staff too.
Good atmosphere. Reasonable food and drink prices. Lanes are a bit expensive but it's expected for the neighborhood. Decent beer selection and good cocktails. This place is definitely a San Francisco style bowling alley.
Was really looking forward to coming here on my birthday but it was Closed for a private function. We only found out when we arrived, and there was a sign on the door. The place was empty. It'd be great if there was a more reliable notification system. It definitely affected my night.
Great little spot on the mission to grab a bite, nice cocktail/beer and bowl. It's a bit more expensive than some of the older places in SF, but service was great, as was the music
I felt cheated. We went as a group of 7 and we could not finish the game inspire of not paying extra for the 7th person. It is $48 for Max 6 people for an hour. I did not understand why I paid extra for the 7th person. Not a very good experience.
Had brunch here on an empty Sunday morning, which is definitely not the norm. The food was pretty good, especially the chicken and waffles. Bowling is per hour, and you should make reservations. Docking a star for the ridiculous $4 shoe rental price.
I was here for a private event and it was very cool. The bowling alleys are very good and the bar has good food with tons of drinks and nice cocktails. Staff is very friendly as well.
Best chicken and waffles ever! I was surprised to find this at a bowling joint, but they offer a great menu, which is a refreshing change from the typical "bar food" at most bowling places. They also have a full bar and a giant outdoor eating area that's covered. The staff is super friendly and you'll find that the owner is behind the bar mixing up yummy drinks. The wait to bowl is usually really long if you are a walk-in, so reserving a lane is best (as is the case for most places in the city).
As you might expect, the primary focus here is the bowling. However, the food is, as you would expect, exemplary. I loved everything and I'll definitely be back. The service that night, left something to be desired. They were training someone new but, I don't think she had served before. Who cares though! It's the best burger in town! Well, in the top 5 anyway.
Just Go bowling! They have a few lanes you can rent for a fair price!
Ok. Big Lebowski. Netflix much? Well, you should. Let me tell you, this little cinema gem turned me onto what I believe to be the most happening neighborhood local-friendly pin tavern that takes the idea of classic vintage activity and nails it with a strike. Well - the gripe. The lanes are, well, as available as limited edition elderflower kombucha at 12pm in the Gus's bev aisle. Don't plan on reserving a startup funding party here, and throw the idea of walk-in right down the gutter. Nachos: 6.5/10 Service: 8/10 Ambiance: 9/10 What they DO have are the low style urinals, various ball weights / hole tightnesses, and my (quite frankly) stunning fiance rolled a 100+ game utterly decimating my sub par performance as usual. Let's just say SHE had a good time, and I did too if the nachos count as a perfect game. Cons: Dirty disgusting gas station at the corner, hooligans in what appears to be a hotel across the street, and what seems to be run-down cafes and restaurants encompassing the radius of this booming establishment. If you can even make it in here on a busy night, get ready for good food, good atmosphere and GOOD PEOPLES! -CRK
Delicious food and great atmosphere!! A fun place to take the kids on a rainy weekend.
Lovely staff very popular spot for a game of bowling great cocktails and amazing food!
This is such a fun place to bowl and have a good time!
Remembering our closing ceremony dinner party at this place. Very beautiful place, huge area for bowling activity. I also like the bar section. Varities of drink available, tastes of napa valley wine was really great.
A lot of facilities (bowling lanes, bar and so on). Perfect for meeting friends and doing activities.
Fun place. We had a celebration there and it was blast. No bagpipes or priests or other gastly trimmings of death. The staff made sure we were taken care of. Any kind of team building night out or just drop in for drinks and bowling!
Incredible bourbon selection... Yes please!
Mission Bowl is a fun spot in the Mission to do a little team building or just hang out and relive that college bowling class you took. With only 6 lanes a reservation is a must but once you're here, it is a great time. They have a full bar, a decent selection of beers on tap and some great comfort food. The fried chicken is excellent as are the fried black eyed peas and french fries. Yes, pretty much everything on the menu is fried. They have seating for dinner as well if you don't want to bowl and a nice semi-outdoor patio. Overall a great spot in the Mission and not too expensive either.
Great and fun place for corporate event and groups. Food was ok, staff looked rather exhausted.
Cool atmosphere with bowling lanes, bar, and regular seating. Good bartender, other service wasn't the best.
Quite happy with our night out here! Its a cute gastropub with 6 bowling lanes. You don't have to bowl, but the bar gives you a great palce to chat before and after your bowling session. Reasonable drink prices, and yummy foods. Cost per lane/hour wasn't too bad either. We will definitely be back. The manager and staff were all FANTASTIC, very friendly, helpful and on-top of their stuff!
Burger: Mission Burger Go for bowling; stay for the food. This is a great place for happy hour fun and very happy dining afterwards. This may be the best food experience at a bowling alley. Most Popular Burger: Mission Burger
Cool, hipster feeling bowling club—exposed brick, 'warehouse' vibe, with very cool looking bar staff. They also serve a wide variety of local craft SF beers which were all super delicious.
Love it! Grown up bowling with a full bar, great beer, and great food!
Great location and hip place. It's one of only a few bowling alleys in the whole city. This location has 6 lanes. This naturally leads to high prices given the real estate premium. They also serve food and beer at this location. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Great place to hang with friends. The staff is very nice and kind.
It's okay. Better than any other bowling alley in terms of cleanliness I think. Staff is friendly and attentive. I will need to return to see for a second opinion.
It’s kinda pricey for a bowling alley, but the drinks were pretty and the place looked amazing.
Was awesome went here on a date and had a blast ^_^
Best burgers fo sho!
Best bowling spot in San Francisco. Small quaint, extra spectacular. Owner Summer, and long time staff Jordan...are simply phenomenal. Highly recommended for the customer service. TaVa
Good food and chill bowling atmosphere. Unique set up. Just a few lanes, bar area, and seating area outside.
So fun! Amazing bar. Rustic vibes.
This place is gentrification
The bowling was fun, with good burgers while you wait for your lane.
Great place for a morning brunch and bowl. Their food is stellar (the croque is my fav) and the drink menu is HUGE. The atmosphere is always fun and laid back as well. Just well done overall.
Order took soo long, food and cocktails are good
Great date night with a amazing atmosphere. Great vibes....
Amazing drinks and even better fries. Skip ordering dinner and go here for the apps, drinks and fun! The atmosphere is laid back - perfect to make a goofball of yourself while bowling.
Delicious food, good service, friendly staff, fun times. Came here on a Saturday evening around 8pm with a few friends. We didn't bowl, just ordered a bunch of food. Kennebec kettle chips - 4 stars. That's actually more stars than I ever thought I'd assign to potato chips. I wouldn't have ordered these but my friend was adamant, and they were surprisingly great! Seasoned kettle chips drizzled with something sweet (I can't remember what)... they were crispy and sticky and sweet and spicy all at the same time. Brussels sprouts - 5 stars. Served with parmesan and lemon. Crispy, caramelized, creamy, citrusy, garlicky. You could taste the lemon zest. Honestly, some of the best brussels I've had. They were awesome. Buffalo chicken sandwich - 3 stars. Served with blue cheese, slaw, and fries. The buffalo chicken was better than I expected, it was properly fried and super crispy. I'm pretty sure they were using dark meat, which made me happy, as there's more flavor there. The sauce was nice and thick the way it's supposed to be and stuck to the chicken, though that's not to say this wasn't some sloppy eating! I couldn't taste the blue cheese, which was disappointing, so I asked for extra. I received blue cheese dressing, not actual blue cheese, but I'd bet that's what was used on the sandwich, which explains the lack of flavor. The fries were similar to the ones you get from In-n-Out, where they're not quite fried enough and they taste too much like potato and not enough like a junky treat. Probably a blessing in disguise, I certainly didn't need to eat them! Burger - 4 stars. Served with monterey jack, caramelized onions, caper aioli, and fries. This is actually the thickest burger I've ever seen in my life. It may have been 1.5" thick. Just huge. It was served perfectly medium rare, super juicy, and the caramelized onions added some depth of flavor, though I couldn't taste the aioli. The bun was also SO small comparatively, which led to some great sloppy eating. I did enjoy it, though honestly, I could have done with a smaller burger. This is a lot of food. Same notes on the fries as above. Totally fun - they serve their beer flights in a bowling pin. And yes, they do beer flights! You can just tell this place is all about a good time. I'll definitely be back.
Excellent blowing alley. Fast and friendly service, and the bar offers a selection of delicious craft beers and cocktails. The Angus burger is very good, with thick patties and caramelized onions, and not overcooked even though the parties are about 2 inches thick.
Atmosphere and food was great. Splitting the bill was a disaster. With our party of 7 they were unable to split the bill or take more than four credit cards which created a headache to end our evening. After the confusion with cash and cards the server ended up with a 30%+ tip.
They have excellent Burger and Fried Chicken&Waffles. In the top 5 in town IMO
Only 6 lanes but great nostalgia
Really small but beautiful bowling alley. Stands out for its awesome food and craft cocktails. I would recommend getting a reservation and trying the fried chicken.
Really cool vibes, amazing amazing staff! Alyssa (sp?) was incredible. Perfect place for a good time.
Fun little place. Food options for almost any taste, but more selective eaters will find the menu rather small. Great drinks, friendly and attentive service from engaging staff. Bowling isn't exactly pro-quality, but if you are looking to grab food, drinks, and have a great time you won't be let down. All for a cost that's reasonable for the Mission.
This place is really fun but a little on the pricey side.
I have been bowling for 30 years I have bowled all of the Bay Area Texas Germany and Prague I even used to work in a bowling alley in San Francisco before I join the Army. now that I'm out and want to do more bowling I find that I can't because of San Francisco obnoxious prices. Up until almost 10 years ago you pay per game they took that out and force you to pay by hour and at Mission Bowl you're only allowed to bowl one hour which sucks especially if you like to bowl at least 5 to 10 games. If you have a big group the mission all is pretty good to go to you cuz you can share it into fee. But if you both so like I do unfortunately it gets kind of expensive that's why classic Bulls still number one in my book in Daly City.
Great atmosphere, outdoor (dog friendly) seating. Good beer. I've only eaten the fries with pulled pork twice and they tasted good but both times I felt sick after.
I had a very good time at your guys's bowling alley the food and drinks where excellent I went there for my job The Grove Christmas party and the music was excellent thanks guys
Small place to bowl. Bar place to just hang out, and some lanes. Kind of retro tons of hipsters. Good for parties, or just fun with your family. You need to make a reservation.
Great cocktails. Good food. Fun atmosphere.
Surprisingly good food. Thick burger patties that were not over cooked even with very large group. Great staff super friendly.
Their hamburger is really good although a tad pricey. Thick, succulent, tasty. So is the not-too-sweet scone with nuts I had for dessert good for the palate.
Cool venue with great service.
Kinda dingy and run down, but I guess that's retro.
Great date night, food was great. We had the fried chicken, and sliders I think, a few couple beers. Over all the experience was pleasant. The wait is indeed a wait, but it went by smoothly with good food and drinks so no worries. I expect it would be fun in a group from what I've seen.
Always super fun, never super crowded, great drinks, food and bowling experience. Plus for some reason we always take pictures in the photo booth outside haha
Very nice bowling spot with food, drinks and kind staff! Very recommended for few hours of real fun in the Mission!
Cool spot for bowling & beer. The food is great, too. A bit pricey for bowling, but it's great fun & worth every penny.
Bowling is great. Good food is even better. What happens when you have both? Mission Bowling Club! The lanes are pretty pricey, and they fill up fast. The plush leather upholstery is a nice touch though. If you don't get to play, the food and drinks alone are worth the trip. The mission burger is a serious burger. And by serious, I mean serious. The 1/2 lb. patty is cooked to perfection, with a sear on the outside that gives it a delightful crispy crust and a juicy medium pink center. This is right up my alley as I generally don't like burgers cooked too rare, because instead of having a tender crumbly patty, it becomes mushy and pasty. The burger is also seasoned very well. It's salty enough to make the rich beefiness pop, and the flavor maintains its integrity as it mixes with the grilled onions, cheese, and bun. The only thing that would make this burger better is to slap it on a charcoal grill. It would be divine to have the same crust and juiciness with just a kiss of smokiness. The jerk pork shoulder sandwich was really good when I first came here. It had big smoky flavor, and the warm spices gave the pork flavor some depth. It reminded me of my own barbeque since I use jerk spices in my rub. Unfortunately, it wasn't as smoky the last time I ordered it. Too bad... Don't forget the home fries if you're here for brunch. They have a light but very crispy exterior, and the inside is nice and soft. I also really enjoy that there's rosemary to add an extra herby flair. Bowling + Good Food = Duh Winning
This place is quite a cool experience. Its essentially an adult themed bowling alley/bar. The decor is quite hip, dark and comfy in the bar and restaurant area whilst its quite bright for the bowling section. The drinks here are great and the bar staff are very helpful. The burger here is up there with the best I have had and is well worth taking a trip here for. A great place to meet friends, have some drinks, food and plenty of fun.
Love this spot...wish there was more room at the lanes
