The Ambiance is great, the service is good and the place looks better after their remodel. BUT EVERYTHING IS OVER PRICED! YOU CAN'T PURCHASE 1 OR 2 ROUNDS OF BOWLING. YOU HAVE TO OPEN A TAP BECAUSE THEY HOPE YOU LOSE TRACK OF YOUR ROUNDS AND YOU END UP PAYING FOR 3 TO 5 ROUNDS. Food is pretty good but drinks are way over priced... I get it....they have to pay for their remodel

Wait at the bar is long but it's also pretty small for the place considering how many people show up. Don't have enough serving staff and only one bartender on from what I've seen during their special hours. No wait to get a lane on Tuesday around 8:30pm. Had a fun night!

Went to this place on a Tuesday, they offer cheaper games on Tuesday so it was definitely worth it, what cost us the most was the shoe rental. They have your typical bowling alley food and a bar with plenty of alcohol. The food we bought was really good nothing to complain about. They have an arcade but that's not really the reason you go to a bowling alley. Ended up playing 2 games of bowling with 4 people. The only thing that I didn't like was that we had to wait a while to get in and get our lane and we had to wait a while to pay once we were done. If they had another person helping out it would have been a lot better. I am sure we will be going again.

Huge bowling alley that looks new and clean. But the service was lacking, I had to wait several minutes in line and again for help because there was only one employee--for 50+ lanes! My other big complaint is with the TV screens above the pins. We were there Sunday afternoon, there were many families with small children there besides ours and they were showing a bloody UFC fight. Very inappropriate!

Not up to standards really theres a lot of things that need to be redone the bathrooms first off probably the original fixtures all the seats in the bowling area are outdated and a whole lot of the games in the arcade are broken this place needs way more work done

It was a good bowling alley with great employees, but they don't hire enough people to staff the place properly. Employees are doing several different jobs when they should focus on just one job. Plus, they don't sweep and clean the bowlers areas so there is always dirt and misc stuff on the floors. I have been bowling at West Covina Lanes ( now Bowlero) for about 25 years. They used to be a decent bowling alley. Since they changed management and were bought by Bowlero, they have been going downhill. They spent a lot of money on cosmetic changes ( new paint on the outside, neon signs all over, new floors, etc) but spent no money on the important stuff in a bowling alley such as the approaches ,the lanes, the machinery in the back that keeps things moving and the computer system that keeps score. The approaches are always dirty, some of the lanes are actually coming loose from the floor underneath, the machines are constantly breaking down ( and good luck getting a mechanic on the job anytime soon), and the computer system makes a lot of mistakes in keeping the score. Since the new manager took over the attitude from them is "If you don't like it, you can always leave!" or "Take it or leave it!" They don't care at all about the league bowlers who are a guaranteed source of income. They seem to care more about the occasional birthday parties or Cosmic Bowling than the loyal league bowlers. This seems like a poor business model. If things don't change, I think they are going to lose a bunch of bowlers and we'll see how long they stay in business. There are plenty of other bowling alleys!

The inside was very modern and had a nice look to it, the staff was friendly and the food was great. All in all had a great time the paint job on the outside looks a little jacked though, me and my family weren't expecting the inside to be as nice because of how the outside appeared, but I'll definitely return it was really fun !

Sooooooooo expensive! If you do not go 2.22 Tuesdays it is like 15 dollars (ONE game and shoe rental) so, going with friends or wanting to play more than one game would cost you a pretty penny. So, honestly, I wont be going back any time soon to bowl myself. They took out all odd number balls (I bowl with an 11lb) and had to bowl with a 10lb because the 12lb was too heavy to bowl with, but the people did not know why the manager took out all odd numbers. They would not give us water until I went to a higher up to ask why we were not allowed to have water. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ not for me, would not recommend, would rather waste said money on dinner and a movie honestly.

Best team party ever!! We decided to take our girls softball team here to the end of season party. Google acouple of places for our budget. Spoke to Marc Perez an event planner. He was very helpful and informative. Give us a great deal that fitted our budget. Day of event I was introduced to Vanessa Preciado who was the event planner that evening. Help us get situated with girls and parents. Very informative and helpful. Jackie our serve was phenomenal. Very attentive with the girls and parents keep our food and drinks replenished our table. Keep asking if we needed anything else. We were a big group of 30 or more. We all had awesome time. Will recommend to our softball families. Thank you once again. We will see you in the Spring!!

I have been going to this bowling alley since I was a little girl and although the renovation is very well done, there is no available seating for the seniors. Most of the customers that go to this bowling alley are seniors who are in leagues. With the new renovation (all bar stools) there is no where for these seniors to sit. They feel that the stools are too high and might not keep their balance on it. If the bowling alley could incorporate some tables and chairs that are easily accessible for the seniors then this place would be a gold star. Until then I guess the seniors have to stand around.

Very nice bowl. You can have birthday parties, their is a junior bowling program at this facility, a gaming area, snack bar, and a full service bar. I have been involved at this bowl for over 20yrs. Good place to come and have fun.

Over pack, most bowling lanes limit 6 people. The lane next to us had a family of 11 playing. To many balls and one just fell my boyfriend's foot from the ball ramp. So dangers, couldn't tell anyone, about it, wheres the fire marshal when you need him/ her. To stop the over selling and packing everyone in waitress kept coming to ask us if we need something, then kept forgetting to bring it..but took our money. . No coming bac or here

Fun place. Arcade as well. Google search said it was closed permanently but that's not true. Great big parking lot is not very well lit and a foreboding building without a lot of windows makes the place look abandoned but inside is bright. I'm a terrible bowler but had lot of fun anyway.

Had one the most wonderful experience here with my family. Kimberly was so amazing with her customer service, getting us all set up and ready to bowl. Her professionalism and cheerful attitude really made everything so easy for my and my family to get in, get set and immediately have fun. She went the extra mile making sure everything was taken care of, from finding a pink ball in the right size for my daughter, to setting us at a lane close to a bathroom for my pregnant wife. The place is kept very cleanly, and the snack bar had a nice selection of tasty snacks.

$7.00 a game and $6.00 for shoes is a rip off. The lanes are so oily after two games my hands were black. There is no pro shop where you can purchase a ball or even have one drilled. Its doubtful that anyone there has the experience to run a USBC sanctioned bowling league. No was able to give information for league hours our prices. The secretary is suppose to call, no thanks. I use to bowl at Brunswick, unfortunately they sold out. I will not pay these prices to bowl and neither should anyone else. You're gouging the community!

Had a good time but 7 lb balls were the lightest we could find and had tiny finger holes. More variety in bowling balls would help making it accessible. Noticed some little kids struggling to carry and place on racks. A little pricey per person for regular bowling. Loads of parties and ample parking is available

The staff at this bowling place was incredibly rude. Any time we asked if they could take our empty trays they looked at us as if to say "don't tell me what to do. You're not my boss". Our lane aso got stuck and when we asked for helped the only employee there at the moment said he was busy, but helped the younger women in a heart beat. Never going to this place again. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

There bowling lanes was busted, some of the bowling pins was not standing , nobody came to fix it, the waiter Alexis was beyond rude with a very bad attitude towards my party only. With everyone else she was making sure everyone was good far as drinks and food , but my party she took forever to bring our food, she forgot sauce for our tacos, forgot drinks, no type of smile on her face but others I noticed she was joking and laughing with. I don’t understand why we wasn’t treated differently. Management is a joke and didn’t help at all the cashier said he told the manager to come speak to us and he or she never did. Very very poor service and management. Didn’t even deserve one star

I had a great time because I had great company and access to alcohol, other than that this place is pretty disorganized. I ordered a couple of beers at the bar for my sister and I and the first bar tender that helped us was cool she had good costumer service & helped us right away when we went back to order a pitcher there were two other girls at the bar & there was a standing line so I waited and waited and WAITED about 30min. There was only one person in front of me and two guys sitting at the bar. They where changing a barrel and I get it that things take time but nobody even acknowledged my presence untill the girls realized that I was with one of my friends who is a regular costumer there and who's husband is a league bowler. All of a sudden we had great costumer service & they were regularly checking up on us at our Lane for refills etc. Overall I wouldn't come back here without my friend

Friendly staff, recently took 25 kids from my school here on a leadership field trip and they gave us a great deal. $10 a kid, included shoe rental, 1.5 hours of unlimited bowling, and a $5 arcade card per kid. Not too shabby.

I had a fun time bowling here with friends and family. The lanes, pins, and bowling balls are legit. The arcade is fun to play in. There is a snack bar and liquor bar to have fun at too. Restrooms are small and a little crowded. The place is huge and has over 50 lanes for over 50 groups to play. I will definitely come back here.

It's a bowling alley, so expect the standard bowling issues (dried lanes, wonky machinery, no bowling etiquette customers, etc). Now, it's a THS lane (typical house shot) which is medium oil if fresh. Staff is friendly, but only one of them is, forgot the lady's name but the cashier with the red hair in the front. The machine is broken, a strike is a 9pin or if you hit your spare it only counts 3 pins or w.e

I like what they've done to remodel the place. I just wish they had more healthy food items to choose from. Also, the prices have gone up...not the usual bowling alley prices. But they do have great bowling deals throughout the week for great prices. Especially if you're trying to do something fun with the family.

Bowlero is the new name for West Covina Lanes. Totally renovated with lots of upgrades!!! Wish the colors were happier, it's mostly black, gray & red. Bar & fast food. 56 lanes. Lockers. King Pin pro shop. Arcade for the kids. A barber shop. 3 Banquet rooms. You should come & see it all for yourself. They even took out all the shrubberyin the front & sides. Those have been there since at least the 80's.

It was so much fun. It's been years since we've been bowling and it's the first time for our 3 and 6 year olds. They had a blast. The staff were great and helpful. They have a section for adults as well as an arcade with a giant PacMan/Galaga arcade game. Plenty to do for everyone in the family. Definitely making Bowlero a frequent family outing.
