I recently had a small gathering here and the customer service was fantastic. They worked with me when over half of my party flaked on me on the day of the event. Most places would have charged me full price for the reservation and I'm thankful that they were very understanding. I highly recommend this bowling alley, the lanes are in great shape, the ball returns were fast, and employees were very attentive. Thanks Thunderbowl!

Horrible experience! I was having my sons 18the birthday/graduation party and they double booked my time slot. When we got there it was already 30 minutes into our time spot. The woman had an attitude because we were upset at that fact. When we asked if they were going to compensate us for this (like a discount) we were told no because we got a bigger room and our pizzas were on time. OK what about my cake decorator didn't know where to put the cake (she was told 3 different rooms) or the fact the room was decorated or set up. I had to run the poor fellow (that was serving the party) to death. Example: no cups, no plates, nothing to cut the cake, no table cloths, and because we didn't have a room we couldn't hand decorations. Plus the guy delivering the pizzas didn't even know how many pizzas we had. He had to ask us! Almost $300.00 to set in a room outside the cosmic bowling area, inconsiderate, insensitive, and rude. If it hadn't been for the fellow servicing us I wouldn't have paid at all an would have had my party in the parking lot! Next time I'm renting a hall!

Was here for a bowling tournament. Their snack bar had a horrible way of taking team orders. Which wouldn’t have been a problem if they let teams bring in food for lunch. Waited 20 minutes to order and then couldn’t even order because I had 2 school orders in front of me. This snack bar should take team orders in advance if they expect all teams to order lunch from their snack bar. Very unfortunate.

Lady at the food court made me change my mind quick for some food!!! I saw her picking at her face and start cooking the fries and had no gloves on....Great prices and my kids had fun and some of of the employees were nice,but probably wont come here again !!!!

So my friend and I tried taking our little boys bowling and as soon as we got there they were locking the door, and popped their head out very rudely and said “we are closed”. Keep in mind this was 7:30-8pm on a FRIDAY, and the door said they didn’t close till 12am. So immediately I call and ask what time they close and she said we are closing right now due to no business, but yet they just had two families try to come in. MAYBE YOU WOULD HAVE BUSINESS IF YOU WOULDNT CLOSE IT DOWN EARLY ON A WEEKEND. You might as well shut that place down for good. And your customer service sucks! Very rude girl that had her boyfriend in there with her, so that’s probably why she wanted to close early. Smdh.

Over the last 10 years, we have booked numerous bowling parties for youth sports teams, stopped in for family fun on a Friday night or Sunday afternoon, and always had a positive experience. Clean bowling center (with pool tables) that is well run, affordable and fun place to go. Check out the pizza, nothing fancy but very good.

I will only bowl here from this day forward. The staff member was friendly and accommodating to us, and he was kind to my son. A little kindness goes a long way! The alley itself is clean and well maintained, it has Televisions at every lane so you can keep up on news or sports while you wait for your turn. The machine is quick and I've yet to see it foul up.

Ridiculously overpriced and terrible service! Open bowl didn't start until 9 tonight, but that's where my son wanted to go for his birthday so we went anyway, then we get there and find out that they won't let you use the bumper rails after 9! I asked why but it's just the rules sorry about your luck. I told the very rude and uncaring worker that we would pay for a second game if he would just raise the bumper rails and he told me I could go else where if I didn't like the policy. We won't come back thats for sure there are plenty of other alleys! There is a reason why this place was so dead in the middle of summer break and sure isn't because any of these 1 star reviews are fake!

Visited on a slow Sunday. There were 9 total people in our group (5 bowling) and they stuck us on ONE LANE. At most, there were 3 lanes open of the 16 offered. They make you pay by the 2 hour period, but set you up to only be able to play one game. Decent facility, but a little staff consideration would have gone a LONG way.

If google would let me give 0 stars i would. My husband and i have went the thunderbowl our whole lives and had nothing but good experiences. Me and my husband were trying to take our son bowling and I had called before we went to make sure that we would be able to get two lanes since they do not have the bumpers that go up and down, I was told that they would for sure give us two lanes and that they would love to get us bowling. We went in not too long after and we had told the guy that we were told we could get two lanes for our son (2.5) and they absolutely refused to give them to us, mind you we went at 2pm and there was only one person in the bowling alley. Their rules are out of control, that includes no flat bill hats, and completely dictating how someone presents themselves, never will understand what that has to do with bowling. They believe that they are above anyone and everyone who walks through the doors. Very disappointed in the service that they have provided, rude and very judgemental. Needless to say, we will continue to drive by our hometown bowling alley and always make the drive to Marian poelking lanes in Huber heights!

If you are under the age of 60 Apparently this is not the place for your family. We recently moved to Englewood And will never be back to this establishment.

Well let say this is the first bowling alley that would not let my son sell candy for a 7th grade trip. You walk in and there is a metal detector at the door and they charge $5.00 for non bowlers. You can keep your bowling alley.

I came to get a honest look at the reviews on this place after seeing a bad review elsewhere, and I am completely taken a back. Management’s responses to these reviews are absolutely horrendous! No customer service whatsoever! Any business who tells any customer that has an issue with their establishment to “go elsewhere” simply because they had a bad experience, is no establishment I will ever patronize. Sometimes you just have to apologize! No business is perfect and no employee is perfect. Not one “sorry” on this post from management. If a customer is having a bad experience, you don’t even have to necessarily break the rules; just simply provide a sincere apology and try to make their experience better; that’s customer service common sense. All responses are defensive and VERY unprofessional. I’m very surprised that this establishment has stayed in business as long as they have. Ownership/management needs some HR and Customer Service Training for themselves and for their employees.

Visited for the first time tonight with my boyfriend and son. We all left saying how amazing it was and that can’t wait to come again. Automopshere is VERY family friendly, alley is clean and very well maintained and the staff were all extremely friendly. Good value for the money! Would highly recommend!

Took my family bowling here a few times and always have a great time. 7 year old daughter keeps asking when we are going back? I'm so glad to see her interest in a game other than the smartphone stuff! She still uses the bumpers but one of the staff members gave her a couple pointers last time and she is getting better. My family was treated with such rude and blatant disrespect, I could hardly believe that I have patronized this establishment for over 15 years and have never had an experience like this. On 4/20/18, I reserved two lanes for two hours for my nephew's graduation. The past three years I reserved lanes for children's birthdays, again staff was courteous no issues. Last year, i noticed a sign posted on front door concerning dress code, behavior, etc. I felt comfortable coming to a place that was making a effort to move to a more family friendly environment and respected the fact they actually had a dress code, were we didn't have to view someones underwear. On 4/21/18 started out nice. Around 3 pm my party gradually started to arrive. Kids and adults had started to bowl, the first incident is when my eight year old accidentally (last two lanes on the right) rolled the ball down , I will call it the service lane that staff use to go behind to service machine/pins. My oldest told me what happened, me not thinking told him it was ok to get the ball. Counter staff saw this came over saying, "His not allowed back there, it dangerous back there" tell staff when that happens" I took total ownership of what happened I explained it was my fault, I told him to get the ball and i will tell staff next time, I'm sorry. . My apology was not enough for him, and it seemingly only irritated him. He repeated the same thing over again adding "We don't want our equipment damaged" this time he was yelling. He threw his hands in the air as he walked off in a huff. It happened again, only this time the young lady that brought the pizza over, went back to get it. He came over again (6'2 heavy set guy) I cant remember what was said, again he was upset and yelling. Mind you bumpers were in place I thought , then he pulled a metal frame that came up on both ends and it didnt happen again, why was that not done from the beginning. At this point a few in my party was asking what was going on, because of his inappropriate reaction. When our time was up, my husband had ask this same person at the service desk, if we could extend our time. "No" its been reserved" my husband said we would get another lane, he said the rest of the lanes were ALL reserved. I went to the counter to speak with him, 'I thinking my DH misunderstood , I was told the same thing and he added "I have said this five times already there is nothing available, now if you want to take your party outside to the parking lot(with hand gesture pointing toward the door) I would appreciate, now excuse me I need to help these ppl". I was floored and could not believe what I was hearing, not only was I humiliated but embarressed as he said this in front of a couple standing at the desk. I can understand this mans actions at all, my family and friends were respectful of themselves as well as others. We had spent money on food,drinks, bar,games, it was as if he was saying ok You spent your money, your time is up now LEAVE!! My hubby and I cleaned our area, took shoes back to the desk, made sure every thing was back how we found it. I told him as he walked to inspect and move the trash can near our tables, that ever things is clean, He said without making eye contact, "thank you" as he walks off. At this point, a few in my party had purchased a cocktail earlier and was finishing up as they were talking, we had all moved away from were we were to make room for other guest who had reserved that space. Same guy, came over to were and said " This area is reserved also, other people are coming in ( after 5pm at this time) so if you are drinking you are welcome to drink at the bar only" So everyone is looking at one another like what the hell is going on here. Not only was he lying , but he was loud and rude. He wanted us to be confrontational so he could call the police, didn't work. We will never patronize this establishment, again ever. If anyone has a problem with this business, as some folks I spoke to have, please contact NAACP or Ohio Civil Rights Commission.

We are on an afterschool league and it is so disorganized. They never have any change or the sheets to sign in untill after it starts. They stoped turning on the arcade without notice and said "some one complained" . Not worth $8.00 a week. Will not be bowling here after this league is done next week.

Poor house balls. Most of them are cracked, chipped, or hard to find. Out of date scoring system. Sensors don't always detect pinfall. Prices aren't bad tho. $8 for 2 hr unlimited bowling (as of 7/2/19) $4 shoes. Prices are higher depending on the time of day and the day of the week.

I recently moved to the area and chose Thunder Bowl for open bowling and league play. After bowling at the facility for approximately 18 months I can honestly say the staff treats patrons with respect regardless of ethnicity, age or gender. I've been there while bus loads of school aged children had a wonderful experience. I've witnessed disciplined teens bowl without incident. I have bowled on several leagues which included different ethnicities, ages, male and female with no problems what so ever. The rules are put in place to ensure a safe and pleasant experience for those who choose to follow them. If rules are not your cup of tea, Thunder Bowl is not your type of bowling establishment.

I usually visited the lanes from past 3 years, they have the best and cheapest lanes in and around Dearborn side. Saturday evenings are pretty much busy. Staffs are well behaved Some times lanes gets stuck in between games. Best deal which i prefer is $10 for 2 hours games including shoes rental for a person.

Went to Tunderbowl tonight. I thought I was going bowing, not to a club. You have to go through metal detectors. And then there is a 5 dollar cover charge if you dont want to bowl and you still have to pay the 5 dollars if you just want to sit at the bar. This is ridiculous. On top of that, it's 62 dollars to bowl for 3 people, for 2 hours. I turned around. I'd rather spend my money at a more decent venue and not some money hungry bowling alley. You guys don't even deserve the star I had to select. They used to be more family oriented.

First off I’m an active duty service member. I came home on a pass, the staff was very rude to my family, we had pushed the ramp past the line to help our child and staff approached us, and were overly aggressive about getting the ramp off the lane. The restrooms were very dirty, mind you it was a Friday night so I understand that to an extent. Lane 13 kept having issues we informed the front desk about it a couple times, nothing was done except being told to throw a ball down there to reset it Update: Called the GM after seeing the response, very rude man, pretty much told me that I should have called him instead of posting a negative review. It is called America, freedom of speech. I guess I didn’t realize that you could only post positive reviews of this bowling alley.

Last year I had my daughter's 5th birthday party here and it was a lot of fun. I went to book her party there again this year and the owner is trying to charge me $100 more. With me and my family cleaning up after ourselves afterwards and leaving no extra work for anyone, this just isn't worth it to me. I guess they don't want business that much. We're really disappointed.

This place was racist my friends went there and they got racist service. My friends didn't do nothing and one of the employe' s came over there and said that they were gonna call the cops. While we was just watching the game by the way the white people were watching the game and the staff didn't even mind them. My experience was absolutely horrible. I had two children bowl and had them put up the bumpers...well when you have a 6 and 5 year old bowl they really can not direct the ball as well as an older person. Well one of the kids accidentally knocked the bumper down. One of the employers was quick to come over and say if the do it again I won't pull it back up. Kind of upset me because the children aren't doing it on purpose. Needless to say this employee came over to us numerous times and badgered us about the stupidest things! I do no recommend this place...very rude...not child friendly!!!!

Or you could, you know, shape up. Bye forever. Also, reading the other reviews... They really want you to call ahead to disclose your medical information to them? Who do they think they are? As if Pepsi, Mt. Dew, and coffee are "healthy" choices for a lady with medical conditions. Holy moly. This business is delusional.

I don't normally one star reviews, but this is definitely one of the exceptions. The lady at the register was intolerant and rude. Once we got to our lane, the pins wouldn't set up and it was giving the wrong scotes to players. After that, the balls just stopped coming. We asked to move lanes, but then we just weren't getting full sets of pins. At one point I only got one pin on a fresh round. This was easily the biggest waste of $20 that I have ever spent. Please save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.

This was a nice place to have Birthday party for kids and even adults. Very colorful and fun for kids. They enjoyed themselves a party they won't forget. I like the music and how they play the video along with the music. The people was bowling and dancing. Also like how you get a party room included. That way you don't have to have food all out with the public. Book your next party there!

Very small place with very little lanes. A worker was very rude. Told us there were no lanes available however, let the customers who came in after us get a lane right away before us which they did not reserve. Also told us some lanes were reserved for a high school group coming in, so we called and asked to reserve lanes for any open day and were told lanes were not able to be reserved. Mind you, my family is African American and he treated us much differently than the others there. Did the same to another African American couple who came in.

If you're black I do not recommend going here. The person who owns this place is racist and a bigot and will not hesitate to call the police on you. So if you disagree with them doesn't matter if you're talking and a calm voice, standing or if they are wrong he still will. Since this is a privately owned business the owner says he can do whatever he wants. This bowling Lanes, is a real racist place. They treat black like animals. They make rules for blacks and whites. Whites can put on hats and blacks cant. I complained to the manager on duty and couldnt defend their decisions. They actually made me put my hat/cap in the car , whiles they allowed whites to put them on. I would never recommend even a dog to go play bowling at this racist place. No wonder they have 3.8 stars. Bad experience ever.

My bowling game is usually better here because of how clean the lanes and approaches are. It is how a center is supposed to be kept. You just don't find centers like this one anymore. What happened to thunderbowl!? Used to be a beautiful place to bowl. You can’t bowl here anymore, most of the staff is racist, a comment was made tonight “...he was starting to scare all the WHITE people...” what exactly is that supposed to mean? First of all, no one was scared, and I’m white, so I can speak for the “whites” as well. The man she was referring to was being loud and ignorant. Not scary. Bottom line, horrible atmosphere, and overall a bad place to come with your family. Change the staff and the clientele, this isn’t a night club it’s a bowling alley. Also, the best way to end racism is to quit talking about it... it’s 2018. Not 1950.

Thank you everyone for your honesty! Update: me, like most of the Northmont area, will never support your business with ethics you have displayed here. Still a legendary place. always cheap bowling and beer , but has gone down hill . I suggest they let CPL holders keep their tools at the door because the armed gaurds where not on point per say. i got in with my knife amongst other things but i am responsible law abiding citizen, that may not to be said about others who may get past the door security

I have been to this establishment many times and would recommend it to anyone. It is well ran and very organized. They very strictly enforce the bowling alley rules that are posted through out the establishment. Making the experience much more enjoyable. The prices they offer are fair and to the point. Bar and food prices are lower than most bowling alleys. But quality is still there. Being a pizza connoisseur myself i give them huge props for their pizza.Machines run correctly and are serviced frequently.This is one of the few quality bowling alleys still left in existence.

The manager on shift was awesome! My party arrived during a league, but she was able to accommodate us with two lanes and even had her caterer get pizza for us! I wouldn't be have expected her to go out of her way since there were only 7 of us but it was such a nice thing to do. I will definitely go back !

me and my son have started to bowl there atleast once a week. I Googled the opening hours for today because we were going to go bowling again today and seen this review page. after reading it i felt I should write a review. first off i make over 6 figures a year but if you seen me in public you'd think I was homeless lol the reason I bring that up is because they have no ideal my financial status all they see is a scrubby looking homeless dude. Anyway I've read the complaints and I first went there for a kids birthday party and one of my younger kids knocked down a bumper and was told exact same thing as what people were complaining about in there reviews. I've also asked to have 2 lanes when I have brought a couple more people and was told no do to there policy's even though every other lane wasn't being used. It's there business and there rules are in place for a reason. Stop thinking you should be treated special and get up and teach your kids how to bowl correctly instead of being mad at one of the workers there for just doing there job. it has nothing to do with you being black or they don't like the way you look. it's just that they have a business to run and you feel there rules shouldn't apply to you.

I have been here hundreds of times, and have never witnessed anyone, (regardless of the color of their skin) disrespected who wasn't first being disrespectful to people or the property! It is Not OK to be rude and obnoxious, or try to throw the lightest ball in the house a hard as you can throw it, to impress your friends!! Arrived early on a Sunday and was allowed in 10 minutes prior to opening time. The manager and I spoke about recent surgeries I'd had and my skepticism about my ability to bowl. Later, during my games, he stopped by to see how I was getting along. He seemed very nice to me. The place was clean and everyone seemed to be having a good time. The dress code is strick and enforced but it is posted so it should not be a concern to anyone. All of the equipment worked as expected. I would recommend this place to anyone who can follow the posted rules and wishes to have a good time.

I've never been here. I've driven by a million times because I live in Englewood, and am a retired USAF member from Wright -Pat. I used to bowl back in the 1980's and 90's. I mostly bowled on USAF bases. I've read all your comments. Rules are rules. Enforcement of said rules is cut and dried. I like how this is a family friendly place. I would love to bring all the family here for a good old time. I remember when bowling was $3 a game. Well, times have changed. I'm never going here again...this bowling alley is nothing but trash...the lanes we were on kept messing up...when we asked to move they said it would happen on any lane...let's me tell u that's not true...I've bowled at hundreds of bowling alleys and if the lanes mess up often or if your constantly having to reset the pins or enter your score manually then there is something wrong and if they all do it then your vowling ally is garbage...lol..anyway this bowling alley is poorly maintained...everything is run down...they even have drink rules...like really? Just close this bowling alley down! I mean I even had to get my bowling bag completely pulled out and searched through...that's ridiculous!

Me and my family enjoy coming to this bowling alley. The staff is friendly and the area is always clean. You can order food and drinks to make it an all day event or just come to bowl a few games. The price is decent as well, 7 dollars for shoes and one dollar per game per person. Our lane had an error when we first started but the staff was quick about correcting the issue.

I have went to Thunderbowl for many years and I have never been disappointed. The staff has always been very nice and helpful. If you needed bumpers, they were on it. Had a problem, they were on step ahead running to get your problem fixed. The food has always been good whenever I need a quick bite to eat while bowling. The pizzas always been good, and the pretzels as well. My most favorite order is the beer fries which can only be eaten around after 6:00 when the dinner menu comes in with more choices. The only problem that I have when it comes to Thunderbowl is the lack of school spirit. This is the alley that is home to the Northmont Thunderbolts, where the High School team practices for tournaments and matches. The only thing found to support the team is a small Northmont sticker. It would be nice if we could find some more team spirit that can be found in other bowling alleys for their High School teams. Other than that, I can definitely recommend this bowling alley for anyone!

Don't Don't bring your kids here to bowl this guy is a racist person!! I simply asked him could he put the bumbers up for my son who was a paying customer and he told me that he couldn't and when I asked why he shut down our lane a told us to leave and called the cops on me. I asked for a refund and he would not give me my money back. I asked for his manager contact information and he would not provide the information. Racism at its finest it's sad that is 2018 and people still have to go through this. Please continue to get the word out about this place. I finally got the manager's contact information Bill Jarrett and he was even more of a racist than his employee. You can tell he has an affiliation with race hate groups .Now I see the whole culture of this place, and why this employee feels that it's ok to act like this. Making a complaint with the manager did no good in the situation. I wish I could have record my phone conversation to add to this post. Thunderbowl needs to be shut down !!! DON'T GO THERE BOYCOTT THIS BUSINESS THEY DON'T DESERVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!!!

One of my favorite bowling alleys. Prices are good and usually a lane is always available. Love that they have regular lanes and then the side with glow n the dark. We have had plenty of parties in the smaller glow room with the bar and dance floor. Me and my friends would come here every Thursday when they had free pool and buy drinks. This is the third time we have tried to bowl with my grandson for the first time. I called and asked when open bowling would begin and they told me what time to come. I got there and the place was locked up tight. Hours on door and website say they should have been open. Will not try again and will take our business elsewhere where they are happy to have customers. In my book, one star is too much.

People say that the service here is terrible, and yet they treat their customers with respect as long as the customers are respectful. All these people who are giving 1 star obviously are just throwing temper tantrums and don't agree with the rules that are in place to protect this establishment. This is a business, not a place for people to disrespect. The lanes are in great conditions, the food is amazing, the pool tables are also in great condition, and they even have a game room! 10/10

The bowling alley was okay, but the snack bar is TRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On 12/15/2018, my family and I came out to just have a good time. I had to pay $5 because they charge for non bowlers??? However, that broad Kat (at the snack bar) has no type of customer service skills. They tried to give me cold food, that they claimed was in the warmer. SMH!! When I asked for hot food, she push the tray of cold food and said- “that’s your food”. So I had to talk to Pat (a supervisor) to possibly get my money back, because Kat refused to make my order over (which was chicken, fries, and a drink). Spoke to Vicki (who is supposed to be the manager and she did “nothing” about the situation. I told her what happened, which was a waste of time. Instead of taking the money (that was refunded) over to the snack bar, so that my daughter could have something to eat. She kept saying that Kat (at the snack bar) story was a little different and that she would call me later. Call me later for what??? When I’m currently standing in your establishment!!!!!!!! SMH. So I was still there (because my group was still playing) with no food. Later on, she walked pass me and said, “I’m going to call you later”. I told her no need to call me. I will never go there again.

From the moment we walked in the door we could feel the unfriendly atmosphere that’s created by the staff. As I was paying for a lane the employee swipes my credit card then literally throws the pen at me to sign the receipt. I felt as if by trying to pay for a lane I was majorly inconveniencing him. And after a few more interactions with other employees I realized this is apparently normal for this place. Ownership obviously has no idea how to operate a business, and it shows with how unhappy the employees are. We’ve decided this will be our last visit here. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Even if it means driving a few extra miles.

Don't bring your kids here!! They have this new rule saying they won't put the gutter bumpers up unless your child is shorter than their counter or has a disability. I brought an 8 and 9 year old who have never bowled before so of course they got a ton of gutter balls and the staff would not put up the bumpers. They left crying. I won't be coming back.

Thunderbowl has plenty of parking along with a significant amount of handicap spots near the doors. Probably the largest bowling establishment in the area and probably has been around the longest. In the past they had hosted professional tournaments not sure whether they still do so or not. They have a number of bars throughout the establishment. They have $2 beer and Bowling specials on Tuesdays. Whenever I drive by while it's open the parking lot is generally full. The Ally's are clean and polished. Overall a pretty great place for the family or to go out with friends.

Just watched a video of an employee there being blatantly racist and disrespectful to a mother and her son. There are plenty of other places to bowl in Dayton. Please don’t give this place your money.

Besides the racial epithets in the men's restroom. The place is cool, and the lanes are kept in good condition. The male staff tends to be rude to people of color, but tried to tolerate us to make money. If it weren't for my friends in the league, I would never bowl here if not for the league. Oh yeah what the hell is a flatbill hat!

DO NOT take your children here to bowl if they have never bowled before. They refused to let the kids use the bumpers even though they have never bowled before and was throwing nothing but gutter balls. Seems there is a policy that states if the kid is taller than the counter they can not use the bumpers. Turned what should have been a fun, new experiance for the kids into a huge waste of time and money. Now the kids will never get into bowling. Staff was very rude. Customer service was horrible. When I asked for a supervisor I was told one wouldnt be in until after 10am the next day. Probably a good place for adults but not for kids learning to bowl.

I’ve bowled here in all 3 areas, and I enjoy bowling at these lanes. My only complaint is that on 2 separate pair of lanes (1 in arena one in cosmic), the scoreboard wouldn’t register one of the pins, so some strikes would show up as 9 counts

I've notice that if the owner doesn't agree with the review,he says it's a fake review. No Sir they aren't fake. You just don't like that y'all are being called out on y'alls bullcrap! I'm from Columbus and a group of us were visiting the area,when we went bowling well I should say tried. Total fail we came in a mixed crowd may I add. The desk worker divided us up our white friend's in one group the poc in another. When I noticed what he was doing,he said that he didn't have any lanes available for the 2nd group which was the poc,and that if the 1st group wanted to bowl they could. Of course they laughed and said absolutely NOT! As we were already about to leave they said if we didn't leave the police would be called. So the ladies in the group stopped and said please do. Then the desk worker said we can take our welfare money else were. Lol! Everyone in my party has a job! But the best place to bowl if y'all ever come to Columbus is The Game friendly staff,great food,great game room. Very kid friendly and the allow you to buy more time. Ps EVERYONE is welcome! I am new to the area and had planned to visit this location. However after reading the reviews and especially the responses back from a representative or owner of the establishment, I was shocked at the lack of professionalism. Upon completion of this post I plan to report this establishment to the Better Business Bureau. An investigation of their business ethics, customer service practice (or lack of customer service) and discriminatory behavior towards childen and others need serious attention. The response to the reviews lack ownership of making right any wrong doing, actually this business owner denies any wromg doing by his staff. Feedback is a gift. It allows one to make changes to better serve their patrons. I get it when you disagree with the ones who did not pay for service and tried to bowl anyway or when lanes were unavailable due to reservations. However the responses back to those who had children was uncaring. You may not want the presence of children maybe its a hassle, I don't know but children become adults. Bad experiences and poor customer relations are not easily forgotten. Why may I ask are you so defensive, rude and uncaring in your responses to ALL reviews where individuals are trying to convey they had an issue at this location or with your staff? You have no empathy towards any of these concerns, you're more like "whatever go somewhere else". You do realize most not all but more often than not, when people take time out of their day to provide feedback good or bad its to help your business not to hurt it. I am sure you'll rudely respond to me as well. Or you will charge me with judgment without ever visiting like you did one of the other reviews. Trust me there are some truth to the negative reviews. Multiple reviews expressing similar concerns is not coincidence. Plus if traveling and the reviews rate the hotel or vacation destination in the manner that these individuals have rated you. Would you book there especially after reviewing the unconcerned repies back to the reviews. Maybe you would but the vast majority would not. Respectfully Submitted!

Just wanted to leave a comment & voice my opinion being as how there is a post circling around on Facebook saying that everyone in here is racist & yada yada. I'm a white female. I've been here within the last few months & my son is biracial. Everyone was super nice to us.. Lady behind the counter even told him how cute he was.. Everyone smiled at us. Thanked us for coming in. I think sometimes people are treated the way they are based on their actions not on their skin color. But taking responsibility for your own actions means admitting you were wrong & swallowing your pride, so it has become easier to place the blame else where. We had a great experience here. It's cleaner then any bowling alley I've been to around here & we will be back.

We came in tonight around 8 oclock, pretty late for our almost two year old but it was a special occasion. They couldn't put the bumpers up, which is fine. It was late and she really just wanted to help push aball or two down the lane. We asked if she were to help bowl if we should keep shoes on or have her in socks. They made our friend pay 10 dollars for her because i"if she is bowling at all she has to pay". I don't mind paying but it seems a little steep for a toddler who just wants to push a ball and watch other people bowl. She had an awesome time and loved playing the racing game in the arcade. Customer service was so-so. I was not impressed but not overly disappointed. I'm sure had we brought our daughter in earlier in the day it may have been more worth our money. After reading more reviews I found one that states you have a ramp for children. This was never offered to us and would have made me feel a lot better about paying for my toddler to bowl. She would have been much more able.
