This review is for Red Embers inside of Uptown Alley, this visit wasnt a good one. We went for happy hour with a group of 7. We started with drinks, of course no problems with beer, but the mixed drinks lacked any alcohol at all. If you like juice then this is your place for drinks. I heard of cutting back but this was a bit much. Now onto the food. We got loaded nachos with rib meat, came ice cold sent it back, returned hot, then we ordered calamari, probably the worst we have ever tasted, it had no flavor and if you like wasting $10 for a bed of sprouts and no calamari, then you might like it. We sent it back and got something else. They did take it back with no issues. We ordered other items and most were majorily salty or had no taste. Im hoping this isnt an everytime thing, the manager was in the kitchen helping the entire time we were there. The server Brie was excellent, but we felt bad we had to bother her so many times for things out of her control. We visit here often, things have been going downhill here for awhile but this has been the worst visit and we brought people visiting. We cant bring visitors here anymore. Hope they get things turned around.

The food was marginal and the waitstaff was extremely slow. We were a table of 7 and there was one other group of 4 on the restaurant side. I counted roughly 5 wait staff. One would think, that at least sitting close to the bar, that our sodas would be quick. Nope, took 20 minutes. Constantly watched the kitchen staff passing us to go outside to talk to friends. Our meal took forever and was of poor quality. We won't be back. We have given this place enough chances. Always the same.

Fun! We had a birthday party there. With a package, we had balloons, food, shoes, and 2 lanes. The staff was excellent, the cheese sticks and southwestern egg rolls were delicious. I didnt try anything else... It's not exactly a quit place. The loud music added to the party atmosphere.

We were there for the live music, but I believe they are woefully understaffed. Our server appeared to be doing her best but she had to clear tables and fulfill orders. It took ten minutes or more to get a drink, I never saw her write anything down so we never got water and we were charged for six beers instead of four. I thought the wings were lousy.

Love Uptown Alley! We've gone about a half-dozen times now and never had a bad experience. The food is fresh, they have a great beer selection, and the service is great, even at the lanes. I only saw one band play but they were good. Highly recommend!

I really want to love this place. It has everything: food, drinks, bowling, video games, laser tag. It would be a great place for a family get together or gathering of friends. Except...each time that we have been there, multiple things have gone wrong. Last night was the last straw. The server was very friendly but she didn't take our order for quite a while, and the kids' pizzas took an hour to come, after asking multiple times. She did take those off the bill so that helped. The worst part was the bowling. Every time we have come, the lanes break. Two of our lanes broke last night. Then when we were moved, the new one broke also. It turned out that there was a huge back-up of balls, left there before we started. It was about 45 minutes before we could bowl again, then it broke again and they moved us. Time ran out on our kids' game because we had waited so long for it to be fixed. When I told the manager that we would like more time, he told us that it was our fault that this happened, because they had told us that they didn't want anyone bowling since the lanes were acting up. They did not tell us. The manager was rude, smug, had absolutely no integrity and extremely poor customer service. We are done with this place.

I've been several times and the staff is always friendly and I've never had to wait long for a lane. Compared to your traditional bowling alley, this is a major upgrade. The seating is spacious and comfortable and the TV's are a nice feature making it an attractive outing durng sports events.

This place deserves 0 stars. Employees yelling in front of customers, game cut off during first game. Food took 45 minutes and Luke warm. During our second game same thing happened and they would not let us finish the last 4 rounds. They stated they lost our SIGNED RECIPT and because we were not given one due to their employees yelling and being rude to each other and not paying attention. Worst place in the mall including the restrooms in the mall. This was the worst waste of time and money. 0 out of 10 would not recommend.

Best night every! I brought a bunch of home schooled kids for my son's 14th birthday and EVERYTHING was amazing. Tyler was our server in the alley. Talk about service! Half of our party showed up early and Tyler got everyone started with drinks and made them feel comfortable. He was polite, always available, and always had a smile. The food was delicious and came out hot. After that we went to play laser tag. Taylor was the gal helping us in that area. She got all the kids right in the laser tag room and helped us when the kids were playing video games. Five times the big claw game was won from our group!!! The bag had 2,500 tickets in it. Towards the end I asked if there was a water fountain close. She told me where it was and then offered to get everyone cups of water. She came back with a tray of 12 cups with lids and straws. I'm the event planner for my home school co-op. We will defiantly be going there as a much larger group. Thanks Tyler and Taylor!!

Super fun upbeat place. I love the back room where you go bowling it's much more private and fun. The arcade is also really fun and of course my kids love the laser tag. My only complaint is the price and the time that you have the bowl. My family and I spent over $150 for just about an hour of fun. It kind of felt like we are ripped off but hey what can you do. I don't know if we'll be going back anytime soon now that I know how expensive it is. Although I like how fancy it is inside I think I could probably have just as much fun at a good old Brunswick or something like that. But maybe for special occasions will go back to Uptown Alley.

Went with a group of about 10 people today. Service was great, the waiter was really cool, and the food and drinks were great. After we ate we went and played two rounds of bowling. Service remained great when we were ordering food at our lanes. The bar tender Johnnie was awesome too. The Brownie Ala Mode was too delicious. We ended up ordering about 3 of them. If you get a chance.. definitely give it a try!

This is a very clean bowling alley compared to all of the other options. It's cheaper than Main Event by a ton, but still clean. They have food options (which we didn't try) and also a server that comes to your lane to bring drinks and food etc. Weekend pricing after 6pm is $36 an hour per lane, plus shoe rental of almost $5 a person. During the day is a little cheaper and per game. There is also laser tag and some arcade games (not nearly as much as Main Event, but way less busy)

Great experience. Visited on a Saturday around 2 p.m. and had to wait about an hour and a half for a lane to open. Getting shoes and to the lane was quick and speedy for 3 adult and 2 child bowlers. The staff was very attentive and helpful during a very busy day. The bowling Lanes automatically raise bumpers for any children in your party. The manager came over and personally asked which names needed bumpers. The waitress at our lane did a good job getting out multiple food and drink orders. The food was awesome. Great appetizers, burgers, wings, all of it. This place is a life saver for the Manassas mall. That mall could have easily ended up being another disappointing statue from a once decent time in the area, but thanks to the smart investors who came in and believed in the Mall's potential. My family and friends will definitely be coming here more often if the experience stays consistent.

One star because the food was ok, but here’s the real issue. The waiter was not able to memorize our order. We didn’t get our drinks until about 15 minutes after we ordered them, the waiter SPILLED and entire cup of water on my uncle and his phone. The food did not come out all together and I ended up waiting an extra 10-15min while everyone else ate. My aunt did not receive the food she had asked for on the side/at all, and the waiter again could not remember the simplest task. Then after when we had refused payment of my uncles meal after the water fiasco, he tried to say they will only comp. the beer, which was total BS. Save your time and money. I don’t even want to give them the one star

The first server we had doesn't have any experience serving customers. She would forget about or table or take 20 min just to get a drink. Not to mention that when we bowled the lane kept breaking. We bowled as a group but because they only allow you to bowl by the hour, we were cut off after the 6th frame. The service was slow. We got the nachos, pizza and chicken tenders. They were all pretty gross. The fries were ok. The bathroom was out of toilet paper most of the night and very under attended. They had a band playing but you had to pay extra to go in. It's not a place I would go out of my way to go to.

We were placed at our lane quickly, but when we got to our spot there were dirty dishes along with someone else leftovers at our table (it took about 30 minutes for the dishes to get taken away, which we had to request), 20 minutes in and no server came up to us. We had to go up to the front and requested to speak to a manager, about 10 minutes later a server comes up and took our order. 15 minutes later they brought us one beer but not the water we requested. 10 minutes later the water comes and we ask for another beer. However we waited around 15 minutes and the beer never arrived. The server asked us if his manager came to speak with us and he was surprised when we said no. To no surprise we were never approached by a manager and are service was never corrected. If great service is something you expect I would avoid this place.

The bowling was fine. I don't know, but the lanes seem short, maybe it's just me. Several games in the arcade were in 'almost functional condition', one air hockey table didn't have sufficient air pressure to play consistently, the other was scuffed and scratched enough the puck randomly stopped in the certain area and didn't register points scored from the other end. The laser tag wasn't as good as our first visit. I tried 3 vests and couldn't clip any of them, also the gun would randomly stop shooting and start flashing '2 hands' when my hands hadn't moved, and after 5-10 seconds it would glitch the screen and start shooting again.

The concept is amazing! Food was good. Drinks were weak. Hard to get your waiter back to your table. Arcade games were fun. Arcade staff was amazing and helpful. Waited almost an hour for them to switch to the Redskins game. I'd go back again with lower expectations.

Took my family on yesterday (Wednesday night). It was surprisingly packed for a weekday. We did find a good parking spot. Our wait was quoted 35 mins, but we only waited about 25 mins, which was good. All of our employee interactions were positive. The price was higher than most places, but expected...so check their website for pricing. The host, the bar, the wait staff. The only negative was the funnel cake fries...they weren't hot or even luke warm. But overall, we accomplished our goal which was to have some good family time. I would recommend and plan to go back in the future.

I really enjoyed their bowling alley, but cause it's fairly modern looking and has very comfortable seats. Although we did have a few problems with our lanes while we were there. They also don't clearly define the separation of the games or at least I wasn't used to their system. All in all the space is very nice and the fact that they have an arcade, restaurant, laser tag, and bar in the same space it very nice and convenient.

Management sucks, but the team members do really well. A bit overpriced also. Chuck-E-cheese is cheaper and has better service than Uptown. However, the drinks at Uptown are great. Especially their Mules. Food is good also Overall, its only worth it to go there to get better versions of any overpriced drink & some food instead of going to another bar. Don't bother with the games or bowling there. Way overpriced and almost guaranteed attitude.

Called to get details on pricing. Was quoted $3 per game and $2 shoes. Arrived 10 minutes later and was told 60 dollars for the hour, which included shoes. Bait and switch. The manager offered no assistance. We left and will not return nor suggest this destination.

Courtney was our server in the happenings area. She was great. She made sure we were taken care of even though she was the only server in that area plus working a part of the other area. A little before we left it got very busy so we had to wait a little to get a game card from her but she went above and beyond and gave us an extra game card for our wait. Fun atmosphere, and really enjoyed the live music. Tonight we were fortunate to have Cyra as a server. She greeted us with a friendly smile and was quick to get us our drinks. She was very informative about items on the menu and helped my wife make her choice of the fish and chips. It was very crispy but lightly battered, and so delicious. I got the south west rolls and it was also SO good! We haven’t had such wonderful attentive service in a while. We left very impressed especially with our well versed server and will definitely come back soon!

Really great place, fun for the whole family. Really great bowling alley with giant televisions above the pins. They have an arcade and laser tag for the kids. 20 players maximum for laser tag games, two teams of 10. They have a great bar, beer, wine, mixed drinks. Great food, great drinks, really great staff. All staff members were eager to please and very personable. We end rd or a family birthday party and two of us stayed well beyond the party, they had a couple great cover bands last night playing incubus cover songs and another band that played red hot chili pepper cover songs. Both bands did a really great job, hell of a party. A little hungover today but very much worth it. I'll be going back, we'll be going back.

Fun experience! I've been to other places that offer a variety of things like Uptown, and Uptown is by far the best one. I like that the prizes for the arcade are nicer, and there are options even adults can find worthy of earning. Have a good amount of games that are fun and give you good amounts of tickets per play. I could only say, would like to see the addition of some more classic arcade games like pinball, Pacman, and like games. Definitely, worth adding a larger amount of money to your party card to get the bonus credits also. I haven't bowled the tasty but pool is also good. Only 3 tables, the one we were at had some minor cosmetic issues but seem to have better kept equiptment in general than several of the bar/billiards I've been to in the past.

Very nice place to take the whole family for fun. There’s a casual restaurant, bowling, bar and an arcade for the kids. On the weekends they have a band which attracts a pretty good crowd. There is also dancing if you feel the need to cut the rug. I’ve been a few times and never left disappointed. Just like any place that offers different entertainment you will spend some money. It’s not hard to spend $100-200. I definitely recommend going if you’re in the area.

I took my girlfriend and her two kids here to go bowling, play video games, and laser tag. We went on a Sunday, when you’d expect them to be busy, and therefore, well staffed... but they were not. The person assigning the lanes was efficient, but not very friendly; I don’t think she smiled once. We needed the bumbers turned on for the 4 year old, but it took them nearly 20 minutes of our hour to get it sorted out. We ordered food, but they brought it to the wrong table. By the time they got the order back in, our bowling time was up and we couldn’t enjoy the food because we only had so much time. Despite the people assigning bowling lanes and wait staff visibly struggling to keep up, two people who looked like managers stood around chatting with each other the whole time. Laser tag was fun, but it was difficult to know who to talk to for us to play. We stood at the door for nearly 20 minutes before anyone approached us, and that was AFTER I told them we were over there wanting to play. Two video games took our money without activating the game and the air hockey table took our money, but did not give a puck. It just seemed like we were struggling with the establishment to enjoy ourselves. They did comp us the food because we didn’t eat it and gave us another video game card with $1.00 to pay for the air hockey game, but that just made us “whole”; it did not convince me to return or recommend this establishment to others. It’s a shame really... the place is very modern, conveniently located, has lots of amenities, and looks clean... I just wish it were better staffed :-(

Okay... I've never been a huge fan of bowling (I like it but can only do a game or two). This has mostly been due to the old school outdated run down vibe that most places have to them. Uptown Alley however is nothing like your old Brunswick type places. It is extremely clean, has a great atmosphere, they have amazing food (seriously... It's really good), have an adults only bowling area with a bar and lounge, and serve great cocktails. Like all bowling alleys it is extremely popular with families who have kids, but the fact that they cater to adults and give us a place away from the family types is awesome. I was very impressed with this place overall and actually don't mind the idea of bowling any more.

the place is really cool! however, the staff is not very knowledgeable and doesn’t try to find answers to your questions. Two waiters fought over our table and how to do something in front of us. One was extremely rude when a friend asked about the seasonal beers on rotation (the menu says to ask your server!!) at the end of the night we were given the check and told to split it ourselves. it’s not like that’s a hard task, but it sure was tedious and the waiter had made it kind of clear that he was ready for us to leave even though there were plenty of tables open. Another night we bowled and the waitress was not attentive, and told us there were no drink specials even though that was one of the main deals of the night. we ended up going to the bar for drinks because apparently the bartender is the only one that knows what’s going on. she also forgot one of our orders completely (it wasn’t busy at all) and charged us for an extra beer we didn’t order. I will go back because of the place itself and the things to do, but now i’ll be prepared for its flaws

A lot of fun to go with friends! Prices are decent and the games keep you wanting to play. Downside is a few of the machines in the arcade need some repair and the laser tag is mainly set up for if you have groups of friends. Bowling Is always fun and never gets old and same with the pool tables in the back. The restaurant and bars and excellent and the live entertainment some nights adds to the fun atmosphere.

I havent bowled much since childhood because all the local lanes felt like they had been opened in the 70s and changed nothing since then. Uptown alley is a more modern take on the bowling experience with touch screens, a decent bar and a brickfire oven restaurant, all in the same building. If you want a reason to give bowling another chance or reconnect with a lost hobby Uptown Alley just might be it.

This was our first time in. Place was nice, staff was friendly and food was good (only ordered wings). Only issue I have was paying $11.25 for one 25oz Dogfish Head IPA. Ordered other drinks and they were reasonably priced but don't understand why this beer was so expensive. Other than that it was overall good experience.

Brought my kids for some food and fun. Games attendants were impossible to find for help, and when we went over for food the hostess was absent for 10-15 min. Had to seat ourselves after inquiring at the bar. After the server provided menus, they were absent for almost 20 min. Not even a drink order and passed by the table at least 3 times that I saw. Finally took my very unhappy kids and left. Will not make the mistake of coming back. Worst part of this is that it was a relatively calm Sun evening dinner...not peak hours.

For $50, we played at the arcade for 20 minutes. It was certainly fun, but the machines are essentially toothless casino games and the odds of winning are comparable. The restaurant was huge! I wouldn't want to go when it gets busy. The waitstaff was good, and the food was okay. Overall, this place is nice for families but dont go just for the arcade.

We're not from around here so to us this like a musical Dave and Buster's. The bowling was reasonable $8.50 with shoe rental per person. The laser tag was $6 person and the kids seem to love it. The Saturday mid afternoon had kids from school performing it was kinda cool loud but interesting. There wasn't a ton of variety in food but what we had was good little pricey though.

I went to Uptown Alley for the second time last week. The venue is nice and staff is very helpful. I was there for a birthday party; the staff was enthusiastic and readily asked if we needed anything. The food was decent but not the greatest. The poutine was definitely too salty, their fried shrimp and lobstermari was just not good at all. The best thing I tried was the fried cheese and the cobb salad.

Went there with a big crew and we had an amazing, at the beginning when we asked for the shoes the girl had a awful attitude. She ended up living, to do who know what. But the manager came and helped, very cool guy. He finished helping giving us our bowling shoes. We had a group of maybe 15 or 18, everyone order everything. We were supposed to pay separate, someone forgot to pay for a quesadilla. Later another manager kinda older guy came to our table with an attitude and the ice on the cake he made some ugly facial expression for $7 bucs that we ended paying for it. Great spot but horrible experience.

Went here on a Saturday night. Place was not busy, but employees at the counter took forever to help us with reserving an alley. We were told that the price was "$50 for an hour, including shoes." When we handed them a card, they charged us for $69.40, because the shoes aren't included in the price. We were also told that once our time ran out, we would be able to finish our game, or possibly he just said the frame we were on. Once time ran out, though, the bar immediately dropped and the system shut down and our scores were wiped. We also called for a waitress with the kiosk 3 times, before physically hunting down a server. We decided to speak to the manager before leaving and he told us that most people "come here to have fun and do." He, in a seemigly very condescending tone, offered to extend our time, so we could finish our game. We declined. He finally offered to cover the cost of our shoes after we told him that he was being very rude and speaking down to us. The fries were good, though. And 2 stars because our server was really nice once she was actually assigned to our group.

We had a very large party and got two lanes. The waiter Messed up our bills and had an attitude when we triet to correct him. After bowling and spending several hunderd dollars we wanted to have a drink in the eating area and talk before we went home but were told we couldn't sit at a table because the kitchen was backed up and told the six adults and child could squeeze in at the bar. The atmosphere is nice but they need to work on their manners and remember they are in the service industry.

Came during lunch hours with a group of 8. The place was not busy at all, an additional 4 groups. Our server seemed extremely overwhelmed, ie checked on us twice, forgot orders, told our group it would be 10-15 mins for one beer, and took an additional 25 mins to get our check. Consulted with the manger, initially it seemed as if our concerns would be addressed, however after continuing to wait for the checks it appeared as if it was not a concern to the management staff either. Plus, there was no hand sanitizer upon exiting the bowling area.

This place is a lot of fun. Good layout, attentive staff, clean equipment, and easy to use scoring system. We attended during open bowling when the black lights were on, the play was geared towards recreation not league practice. If you need to practice for league, call a head and get times when they aren't doing disco bowling. The lighting during disco darkens the lane and makes it hard to see the arrows and keep a consistent target. The couches and lane lay out are great for a family of more than 5. Get two lanes and it's like sitting in your living room with two couches and a coffee table...with bonus bowling lanes.

Korean beef tacos were great, blue margarita was great. Atmosphere was so much fun. The service, however, was slow and hard to find a waiter when you needed him. The wait for a table for 4 was long when there were a bunch of tables empty. The final straw for me was the middle aged sloppy drunk who kept accusing us of stealing her purse when she was too drunk to stand up straight. Having 3 uptown alley employees come over to ask us about her bag really soured the whole night.

We called the night before to make reservations for bowling and we were told they do not take reservations. Okay, fine. We called on our way there to see what the wait time was and we were told there was no wait. We arrived 10 minutes after our call and we were told for one lane it would be an hour to an hour and a half wait! We decided to go have a bite to eat while waiting. The entire Wait staff at the restaurant was friendly but slow with only one bartender. While eating we noticed lane after lane being left open. At one point there were 6 lanes open. There always seemed to be at least two lanes open. After an hour+ of waiting and no text for our lane we decided to go back and ask how long we have left. They told us our wait is still over an hour and we were still second to last on the list and haven’t moved!!! They then tried explaining to us that they can’t see when lanes are open because the lanes are behind them and they have Team Assiantants that do that..which apparently weren’t doing that. Some lady in a suit was running around on her phone the entire time and heard our complaint so they moved us up on the list.. We waiting another half hour while watching open lanes u til we finally got one after going up again to complain. The entire time we were bowling there were open lanes all around us with crowds standing around waiting! Awful service will not be back to bowl! Food was great though if your just going for food!

I booked a company event here and it was utter chaos. Seemed like it was everyone's first day on the job, including the manager. They were a half hour behind schedule setting up for our event when we arrived, and told us they weren't sure they'd have enough food for us (they didn't), even though they'd had our head count days in advance. We'd made specific requests that were agreed upon before the event and they weren't fulfilled-- they hadn't even informed the servers about these requests, whom they'd designated specifically for our event. We were overcharged for multiple items and after 3 & a half weeks, I haven't been able to get a response about a bill adjustment, even after reaching out to their corporate office. Their business is a cool idea, but very poor execution & lack of professionalism. Update (one month after original review above was posted): Someone from the corporate office reached out to me shortly after I posted the review above. I was told I'd see a credit on my card for some overcharges, and that I would receive some complimentary gift cards to entice me back to the venue to give them another try. 4 weeks after receiving a response from corporate, they finally processed the credit, but never sent any gift cards. They desperately need a management overhaul from top to bottom.

Everything was great until my family got sick from the "boom boom shrimp". We waited 20 minutes until an actual waiter arrived to our table who responded "sorry my manager did not tell me you were here". After my family got sick I approached the manager LOUIS who acted very apologetic. However right after he approached EVERY employee and was pointing at us and laughing with his staff. I will never come back to this place. I thought being born and raised in Manassas, this would be a change of pace for Manassas Mall. However, they have failed once again. We did have an issue with our lane but the guy that fixed it stayed with us for a few frames to make sure it was fixed, which I appreciate. The balls and shoes were in good shape, as were the lanes. This was a new experience for me, between hostess at the lane for drinks and the bumpers coming up on a per bowler basis, it was pretty neat.

The staff in here are very rude, it’s crazy how bad the attitude is in here. I get that your not suppose to eat outside food inside of here, so just tell me that. Definitely was a great time with many options to entertain my kids, only reason it got 4 instead of 5 stars is because i'm pretty sure they over charged for every activity because just to bowl 2 games and play laser tag plus I think 20 tokens..... Over 150 on a weekday afternoon. A bit much in my opinion.

I really enjoyed going here and spending time at the arcades. They have a smaller ticket arcade, but with a nice variety to choose from. The bowling looked nice, but I didnt have time to play while i was there. Hopefully next time. The only reason this didnt get 5 stars is because my food experience here wasnt too great. Took way too long to bring up below average food. Dont go for the food, but the arcades and bowling are worth going for.

Brianna Bishop was the best server we've ever had. We love have birthday parties at uptown alley. Going for dinner on a Thursday evening with great service makes us want to come back more often. The jalapeno egg burger is a definite must try!

Went in to book a Sweet 16 birthday party for my daughter. No one greeted me upon our entry. When I approached the cashier's station and informed the two girls tending it of my intention, I was directed to the sales office where the manager was supposed to be located. No one was there. I returned to the cashier's station & was pretty much ignored by everyone in and around it. After waiting several minutes, I flagged down a server from the restaurant who was moving a rope pole to inform the manager they lost my business. She offered to get help but in my opinion, if they didn't want to address me when I arrived, how would they be be for my guests? Taking my business elsewhere.

Wow just an all around good place. Above average menu, good beer, and good times for all ages. Great for so many different occasions. I personally can’t bowl anymore so I actually never even realize I’m in a bowling alley. Spend my time at Red Embers grill.

Been here a few time socially and for work functions. My experience has been positive every time. I really enjoy the 21 and over area, it is less crowded and they usually have great music, plus there is a dance floor so you don't have to bowl to be entertained. The food has been good each time, last time I got a mixed greens salad with chicken, artichoke hearts and a vinaigrette, it was so delicious. The only negative is the prices, everything is extremely expensive, in my opinion. So if you are looking for an inexpensive date or family outing this is not the place for you because it is $34 an hour just for bowling, not including shoes, etc.

Service at the dining area was horrible on Sunday. We waited 15 minutes to someone to take our drink order. We had to walk up to a server to take our table. No one came to greet us. The only reason that kept me from walking out was that fact that I was so hungry.

This was my first and last visit to this terrible place. A group of 5 of us came over after some races at Autobahn Speedway and asked for a table. We were told it would be 10-15 minutes for a table, despite what looked like lots of empty tables. We asked if it was OK to sit at one of the bar tables while we waited, and were told it was fine. 20 plus minutes later, we asked again about our table and were told that the hostess saw us at the bar and took our name off the list. She then said she would get us in as soon as possible. We watched as multiple other tables got sat while we kept waiting. Finally realizing a table wasn't happening, we flagged down a manager and asked if we could have a server for our bar table. The person in our party who talked to the manager said his breath definitely smelled of alcohol, which was another great sign. In the only expedient move of the evening, a server came over over quickly and took our food and drink orders. 15-20 minutes later nothing had been served to us, including a water ordered by one of our party. Finally he got a water from the bar, and I continued to wait to see if my beer would come out. One of our party finally approached a different manager to let them know that my beer hadn't arrived, and no food had happened. A couple minutes later my beer arrived, and honestly tasted terrible. Another 10 minutes passed with no sign of food or our server, so we flagged down the manager again and told him if our food hadn't started, just forget it and we were out. He disappeared for several minutes and then finally returned to tell us that it hadn't started, so we told him to cancel it and left. All in all this place failed at every opportunity it had. We couldn't get a table, the music was loud and overbearing, our waitress was never seen again after placing an order, and multiple managers couldn't get our problems fixed. One of the managers even brushed off the person in our party who tried to talk to them about our issues. Even more aggravating was that at no time did any manager ever apologize for all the problems happening to us. I'm usually one to overlook some stuff and give second tries to places, but I will never again set foot in this place.

Non-helpful staff, no-one was even at the counter when i got inside, yet employees were standing around talking to each other. To expensive to play pool or bowl, not worth $6/half hour to shoot there. Never going back to this place.

Overrated and poor service. You would think it’s the new upscale place to be, but with poor service, stale/old food, and a crowd of 8 year olds sharing your seating area, it’s a failed attempt at upscale. The chips we got were so stale you could bend them even when they replaced them and they brought me the wrong drink. Who knows how long the rest of their foods been sitting out. They had live music...great....except they smashed at the drums at the same time they had other different music playing on the speakers.....ummmm headache much????? The service can be a hit or miss. Sometimes we had kick butt waitresses and others, like today, the waitress seems like she’s never spoken to a person a day in her life. We’ve been here several times and honestly it’s the same story every time except for when they first opened and treated it like a place for adults...now we have to share our food table with a bunch of kids...

Went with a friend a few days ago. Had a blast. The people there are super friendly. Food is great and prices for bowling aren't bad at all the extra $1 compared to Bowl America is worth it by far. The atmosphere is better, food is better, you can have drinks while bowling, pool table, mini arcade that's not all children's games. You could just go for drinks or food too.

My family had a fantastic time at Uptown Alley, we went bowling and indulged on a few mix drinks and pizza while we played. Afterward we played for a bit in the arcade and finally did the laser tag! My kids had a blast, the two story set up in the laser tag was awesome and you really burn calories. The next day my husband realized he lost his wallet with 500.00 cash in it. Needless to say we were a mess trying to find it. Uptown Alley even let my husband go into the building before it was open to search for it, the morning manage helped him look everywhere. But they didn’t find it. Because it turns out that night while locking up Kim the staff member who helped us in laser tag saw my husbands wallet and immediately turned into the night manager. When the night manager came in later that day he called my husband and gave it to him, nothing was missing. We are absolutely impressed with the personable staff they employ, Kim you are truly an angel and we can’t thank you enough! Also a big thank you to both the managers for really going above and beyond to help us and staff that took the time to help look.

Great atmosphere, very slow service, food average. We took the kids on a holiday, plenty of lanes were open. The waiter service was very slow and he disappeared for long stretches. Lemonade was watery and beer was flat. The bowling itself was fun. Food tastes fine but is overpriced.

Nice place to bowl and do other things with family and friends. Price was a bit more than I'd like to pay, but it was a great environment. Having the servers actually come to the lanes was great. Ball selection was somewhat limited. Lane spacing was tight - many times we bumped into each other and the people on the next lane. The main drawback is they won't put the bumpers up unless you are 8 or younger. This prevented us from playing golf (lowest score wins with the bumpers up).

Good bowling and game fun center with plenty of space and reasonable prices. The 21+ private area is a nice place to have a beer and bowl and the restaurant/bar area is pleasurable. They have two pool tables that are in excellent keep with balls rented from the bar instead of being coin operated, which is great. There is a game area and laser tag as well, so the whole family should be able to have a great time and not break the bank.

I had a great experience for my first time attending. They were polite in the gaming side. But when we went to eat there's no side to let you know you can sit yourself or wait. It's really noisy so it was really hard to hear the waiter because it's right across from the bowling area with music playing. The food was good and hot. However, I noticed that all the employees were light skin of different ethnicities. That was a bit uncomfortable since no seem to acknowledge me in the dining area. I had to go out of my way to get any help even though I was seen and not greeted at all on the dining side only. The waiter took a while to return to bring me anything.

Very nice atmospher, every time I visit I have a good time. Happy hour prices are great and the food proportions are reasonable. Arcade games, bowling, entertainment, fundraisers, paint nite... check out the website for their schedule. Its also very kid friendly. The kids menu is also very reasonable.
