It's clear the new owners are working hard to fix this place up and turn it around. The bowling is a lot of fun especially during cosmic bowling. Every time I've gone the bartenders have been great and they can make a decent selection of drinks and have local beers on tap. Food is better than what you would expect from a bowling alley.

This place has really improved over the years. I used to bowl in a league here many years ago. Back then it was just a bowling alley. Now it is much more. With the addition of a restaurant and all the improvements to the place it's much more than just a bowling alley now.

If I could, I would rate startlite lanes a zero!!!! Wasn’t impressed. I ordered food and was delivered my food after the people behind me. Wasn’t treated well, and when I addressed the situation to the manager, there wasn’t I’m sorry. I was brushed aside. Thanks Brett the front manager and Porter for NOT handling my situation when addressed.

The lanes are sufficient, although they oil all the way to the pins, which is odd. The staff is friendly, the specials are pretty good, the food is better than average bowling alley food. .... The negative:pinsetters need help and ball returns are super undependable, alcohol is proceed a little high. Although, it's the only bowling alley in this growing metropolis

Went Thursday night for $1 bowling. Staff was nice and friendly. Lanes roll good. And everything worked as it should. I still think they should be open later than 12am. And the $1 bowling games came to a higher price than I expected. Austin was great with helping us out anytime we needed it.

For the only ally in Flagstaff it's not bad, but it isn't great either. I've only been once but when I went it was empty so I got the place to my self which was nice. Staff was kind and accommodating which was great. My only issue is the lanes themselves. I could've gotten a bad lane on an off day but strikes and spares rarely picked up because the 7 pin and sometimes the 8 were not detected knocked over. I spent a lot of time editing my score which became a bit frustrating. Still, everyone was nice as can be and is still worth the trip for a quick game.

Nice staff and clean facility. Uneven bowling lane surfaces are annoying. Gangster rap in a family facility is less than ideal, my 9 year old even had to say something. They should permanently fix their games, they are partially broken and outdated. Typical bowling ally I suppose.

My wife and son and I went here as a family one evening. My son (5) played the arcade games and got one of his quarters stuck in a machine and went to report the issue to a staff member. Instead of being friendly and giving him a quarter back, he was told that he should expect to lose money on arcade games. Assuming it was a misunderstanding, my wife explained the situation to the staff member and was given a quarter and a lecture in front of our friends about not putting money in broken machines. Needless to say this was embarrassing and unnecessary. I decided it was best for everyone if I brought the issue to the attention of management: I met with a manger and explained what had happened. The manager grabbed a $20 from his wallet, threw it on the table and said "Here is a reimbursement. We get so much business here, we don't care if you come back." I have never experienced anything like this before and I always try to bring issues to the attention of management so I don't have to leave negative reviews. This is my first ever negative review. Shocking experience.

We put quarters in the air hockey machine and no puck came out. This started the game timer, so we didn't get a full game. The cashier had to find keys, and was busy so was very courteous about the situation. The cashier gave us a dollar from the cash register to play another game.

This place is great! It's a fun escape from the cold and monsoon season. It's a nice throw back to the good old days where bowling allies were THE HANG OUT spot. They have a bar and the bartenders pour heavy which makes bowling that much more fun. They have a small arcade area for aspirations of that sort. They have great deals throughout the week so if you want to bowl for cheap, it is achievable

Bait and Switch, visiting from out of town, googled 'bowling Flagstaf' this place came up and when you click on the website a banner comes up to get $10 off first visit with sharing of email. When presenting the email on my phone was informed they would not accept as it was "not printed"!, but they gladly accepted my $60 for the bowling.

Great fun. Good food. Nice staff. The only problem is that they don't have any handicap facilities. The restroom is downstairs and has a handicap stall but there is no ramp nor elevator to get downstairs to use it. There is no ramp at the entrance and there are a small set of stairs to get in. It is not a handicap friendly place.

A typical bowling alley- but with good food, a surprisingly nice bar, friendly staff, and clean bathrooms. A good value especially when they run the kids-bowl-free deals like they do on many vacation days and holidays. Great for kids birthdays. I like this place more every time I come here; it seems to be getting better. Try the surprisingly good pizza! Don’t forget your kids’ socks.

Unfortunately had a very poor experience here. We were doing a family activity. There was 12 people. We got two lanes, two pizza, and two pitchers of soda, so in total the cost was almost $100, which is a great deal. Three of the family have a severe gluten allergy. Before we have had no problem bringing in a few tacos especially since we were already buying food and drink from the alley. The alley has nothing to offer customers with a gluten allergy except a salad, which even then cannot be called gluten free because of cross contamination, since there is no dedicated space. We start bowling and the manager came over and started demanding that we leave because of the three tacos we brought in. When we tried to explain the reason why and said that we've been able to bring in some food before, he didn't want to hear it. He called us liars for saying we had brought in food before. He said that we were using a disability as an excuse to do whatever we want just like everyone else who has a disability. When we tried to just take the food outside so that it could be eaten outside he said no we needed to leave the property to eat the food. He was just all around rude and disrespectful, and the entire time he had a grin on his face. I felt that he was enjoying and abusing his power. Definitely not how a manager should treat customers. In the end the food was wasted, the young children were crying, and we had to leave and not bowl. The manager even said he was going to remove the children off the list for the kids free bowl free program. All he had to do was come over, ask us to remove the food, and be respectful. Not yell and demand and threaten to punish the kids, all over three tacos.

Make sure come when they have specials, otherwise can be expensive. I'd recommend getting a lane reservation prior on busy days so you don't have to wait. The snack bar employees are rude and the food is just okay. The bartender was awesome, but the bar area smells horrible. The womens bathroom was out of tp and was a mess. Only bowling alley in town so you can't complain too much if you really want to bowl.

We usually only bowl with the Kids Bowl Free program, regardless we always have a great time. The staff is very friendly and attentive to needs. It is always pleasure being there. Their snack bar has upgraded to a good selection of burgers, sandwiches, a and pizza. That makes for a good time for a lunchtime bowl with the kids. The only real drawback is that the food is middle of the road.
