I don't remember the last time I went to a bowling alley where the manager made you feel like he'd known you for years. Where the service on a scale from to ten was about a 7 (That's an avg based on ALL who work there) I was impressed with management's attitude toward customers. I think the guy's name is Stacy and he is about as cool as they come. When I talked to him I really felt like he was listening. Very friendly and personable. Let it Roll is very accommodating and their prices aren't bad either.

It's always a joyous experience for me when I have good interaction with staff as well as the other patrons! Was there a mistake; yes!.. however, it was owned by the employee(s), and myself and the party I was with, were taken care of to the utmost satisfaction! Good atmosphere for ALL AGES! Well this was one of the first places we bowled when visiting Phoenix and have been here a couple of times since we moved here. While on a Staycation we said “Hey, we GOTTA go back to that bowling center on 12th Street” so we came on down today. While the place is nice, it is definitely geared for leisure bowlers vs league bowlers. $44 for 3 games of bowling each. See they don’t charge by the game...only by the hour so for a pair of lanes for 2 bowlers was $44! Bartender was great and good price point on draft beer so that was a plus but otherwise we will have to cross this one off the list. We like bowling different centers...it makes one a better bowler. Sad we won’t be back.

I've only ever bowled once in my life that was when I was 15 and it was at this bowling alley. I bowled a 9 I figured I was no good so I never went back until today. I am 60 and I actually improved my game I bowled 38. I still think I'm not a great bowler if I wait another 46 years maybe I will score a 90.

We have bowled there many times. We usually have such a great time and I can't say that we had a horrible time this time.. but... there were some things that were clearly different. We usually go on Friday and Saturday nights but we decided to get out on a week night. We came in on Tuesday night to grab a drink and bowl a little. The front desk was pleasant and helpful but we were disappointed in the bar. We usually get great customer service and are waited on with a smile and some jokes. The girl behind the bar seemed more interested in playing a game with someone at the bar than helping people. She acted annoyed that we were interrupting her. We waited for drinks several times from her. She ignored us once because she was playing the game and another time too interested with a little girl that was sitting at the bar (which we didn't think was right). We don't like bashing on the whole center but sometimes one person can ruin your impression. We will continue to come on Friday's and Saturday's when we get better customer service.

What a great place!! I stumbled in to this place by accident. And to my surprise, it was awesome!! Families bowling, huge token arcade for the youngins, pizza food, cocktail bar, photo booth, and of coarse BOWLING!! VERY CLEAN. Good service. A must go!!

The lanes are well maintained: scoring is accurate, surface is clean, pins don't fall over as soon as the pin setter let's go... The people are friendly, and they don't play the music so loud you can't have a conversation. Most of these things are different (and better) than other places I've bowled in the valley. They do stay pretty busy, so it might be a good idea to call ahead and see if the have lanes available.

Don't go during the week. We tried to go twice during the week (this year and last year) and it was full with league bowling. So no spots for us and we had to leave. We did go once during the weekend and it was fun. It's not the newest, or the cleanest, and sometimes stuff doesn't work lol but it's cheap and fun. It's old so I kinda like it. Overall not bad. They have some good deals at times. We would go back.

The only complaint that I have here is that they never turn on the AC so on nights when there are a lot of people bowling it gets very hot in the building and they dont seem to care if the patrons are comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the restaurant is very good. The only reason for 3 stars is that it is always so hot inside.

We had reservations at another place at 11. I found out at 10am that the place we were supposed to go to was booked with tournaments. Called let it roll immediately with fingers crossed they could accomidate 11-15 people in approx 45 min. They did it no problem. You'd never know about the hidden gem by the neighborhood but staff is polite, food was good, beer was cold and prices very reasonable.

The restaurant had our food hot and ready right on time. We scheduled our next year event before we left. I highly recommend this venue! The price is right and the service is fabulous!

We had an odd experience here, so I shaved off 1 star, but overall this was a great busy alley worth a visit. We visited early Sunday morning with 3 kids in tow, we had the bumpers up for all 3 of them. The 5 year was 3rd to go and perhaps just caught the worker on an off day, however after he bowled into the bumpers we were told there was a strict policy about using the bumpers?? We were confused. 1) did the 5 year old mean to roll into the bumpers? certainly not. 2) Isn't that what they are for? The food was meh, save your money. The saving grace was the front desk attendant who was very kind and understanding and helped us setup scoring and make sure everything was working.

My husband and I have gone here twice in the past few years and it’s always horrible. Recently, I purchased a Groupon for 2 hours for 2 people. The rules state that you make a reservation and use before 7 pm on a Friday. To be fair we showed up without realizing we needed a reservation. It was 4:45 pm on a Friday and there was literally 4 cars in the parking lot. We decided to ask since it was slow if we could still use our deal at that time. The man, Scott, running the front desk was very condescending and acted like it was such a huge inconvenience. He lectured us that we had to use the deal before 7 pm on a Friday... Clearly we were using it before then as it was 2 hours before turning 7. He then went on to brag about there many leagues that play at the alley regularly and it was inconsiderate of us to be there. We turned around and left. We didn’t feel like being there if right off the bat they were treating us poorly. There was LITERALLY next to no one in the alley and there was only two of us. We specifically got there early to beat the crowds on a Friday night. As someone who has run multiple businesses, it was shocking that we should be treated so rudely for simply trying to give our business to a local place. My husband called later and let Scott know that we had left and he could free up our lane, because he was so negative. Scott said, “Well I’m having bad allergies today”... Really? Needless to say, we would never go here again.

Drinks and prices were okay, but I went to bowl I mean that’s what you do at a bowling alley right? We didn’t even get to finish our games because they decided to close early on a Saturday night! The alley has some great specials. They also have a good happy hour deals. I also like that the computer screens will give you your MPH on your roll. This is awesome in order to find out how your bowl is hitting the pocket or why it is not. Staff very helpful so have fun and enjoy. I went on a double date at this location and we had a blast. The inside is much more remarkable than the outside. We didn't eat at the restaurant attached but it was nice to know it was available. We used a Groupon for two hours, shoes, and two pitchers of soda for less than 20 bucks, which was an amazing deal. Highly recommend it if you want to bowl.

This place was so bad! I bought a groupon for a birthday party tried for 3 days to set up with bowling alley they will never answer phones. One time they answered put me on hold for 25 mins then hung up. I called everyday for 3 days really 20 times a day. Please don’t go here. Day before the birthday party I’m trying to find something to do with these kids. Shame on let it roll bowl they suck! 100% terrible

It is clean and updated. Some of the staff was rude! The music was EXTREMELY LOUD and the put a huge party next to us even though only 2 lanes were in use. If you plan on coming bring a sweater the fans were full force and it was cold.

If you want a good laugh go here. Bowling balls would get stuck and we would have to get people to help. We decided to go to the arcade after that. Games were breaking down. We put money in but the game didn't start. We eventually got it out but even more came out. During that game it crashed right in front of us. It had to completely reinstall the BIOS. After that Air Hockey wouldn't work. By then we were laughing so hard about how bad it was. We did a claw machine and got this horribly stuffed pig. We then went to eat. I'm pretty sure I heard something getting sprayed on our food. The seat cushion almost slipped off while we barely made any move. It was so bad it was funny.

So I give them 2 stars for the employees who work hard and are very cool but no stars for the management and owner who don't support local art, music or local artists. And that's sad because every owner that has had the ally, even the original owner of Sunset Bowl, hired local bands at on the holidays that warranted it, 4th of July, New Year's, and so forth. It was probably named Sunset because of a wonderful view of the sun setting everyday through the entrance windows. Well I guess the sun has set, and so I bid you adieu!!!

I went on a Saturday night with a group of 4 and it was very busy, we had to wait about 30minutes for shoes to become available. My suggestion is to get there early (8pm). The service was great, the prices were fair and we had a lot of fun! I would definitely return.

I came by to check this place out because of a yelp offer I had purchased. Very friendly staff, family oriented facility, pizza and wings were tasteful, bowling alleys were typical (nothing over the top). We came by on a Friday night close to 7pm. Place jammed packed, we were told we needed a reservation as they were booked till 830pm. Later we were told we could have a lane for one hour only. We made the best of our time there since we were with of three little kiddos. They had fun, however I don't think ill be coming back again due to high food prices and limited bowling experience.

Like most typical bowling alleys. You have lanes to roll a ball down. Only for it to knock some pins down, and when they don't fall you get frustrated. Had some good music playing that brought you back to your teen years. Super friendly staff.

I'm not sure if the A/C is deliberately kept warm or if it's broken, but temperature wise it was uncomfortable. The woman's rest room is clean, but sauna like. I remember this place years ago. It was way colder. These people have 10 or 12 fans blowing across the lanes but NOTHING to keep the other people comfortable. It's a shame since the place is visually more pleasant than it used to be.

The outside might look a little scary but it's really fun inside! The building is older but had no effect on my awesome bowling skills! My family and I went on a Saturday night and to my surprise there was a live DJ about 9pm or so. Great chill atmosphere to hang out and bowl. The bar area looked nice and modern,clean. Overall only 4 stars due to older building. Clean restrooms, clean building,friendly staff overall. Fun place,good times.

They have a cool system that lets you order food and have it brought right to your lane. Only small inconvenience was no place for our drinks while sitting in chairs at the lane. Ended up leaving drinks and food on top of ball racks the face the lanes. Still had a fun two hours of bowling with friends.

We had a voucher for bowling, that was all inclusive including a pitcher of drinks, shoes, etc. We were charged extra, and didn’t receive the drinks. I had to go up and ask for the manager, and wait around to get it fixed. The alleys are ok, but the place as a whole is a bit run down. Once we got over the initial problem the staff was friendly and helpful.

Perfect place for a baby shower! You can rent lanes and even bring in your own food. My daughter rented 5 Lanes, and a large table. She got pizza, soda, & popcorn for around $400. Great deal and great fun! Hope to come on another occasion :-)

Doesn't look very fancy on the outside, but turns out, this is a great place, very comfortable, clean, good for families, good for parties. Most of the bowling balls are fairly dinged up, but unless you're using them for competitive bowling, it doesn't matter much. My kid had an awesome birthday celebration here, pizza and soda and popcorn and bowling for 15+ people, and the cost per person was very reasonable. Overall, a fantastic bowling alley.

A fun place to go with friends and family to bowl. The location has a full bar and a pizzeria on site. On the weekends they do "lazer bowling" with a DJ and lazer lights. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating to customers.

Customer Service was good, the staff was really trying to make the night fun which I appreciated and good music. Didnt have any food so i couldn't rate that. The reason for the low score is the equipment is constantly faulty and two altercations with two other people who cant handle their liquor and ruined a bday night I had planned. Constant trouble with the equipment and clientele is terrible. Won't be coming back.

The cashier was very patient and kind with my daughters. The vintage feel of the place made for a great environment and although the soft drinks were a bit on the pricey side and too large for kids, the ease of ordering it from the lane was definitely a plus. I'm sure we will be back for more family fun!
