The area is on the outskirts of downtown ol town scottsdale so it may seem a little iffy but the interior is fantastic. The prices are high but I felt like I got my money's worth on date night

Decent specials if you can catch them. I've bowled here a few times the lanes are honed and in really good shape. House balls are decent, but seems like all the finger holes are tiny.... Last time my rental shoes were beyond worn out. The leather near the heel was cracked and irritated my achilles tendon. The heel of the sole was separating from the shoe on one.

Fun place, good service. Especially great when there is a Groupon deal. Only drawback is not enough drink options for children who don't drink soda: water or lemonade. Need fruit punch or Powerade drinks or vitamin water.

We went on Thursday evening, just after 7pm. Great, efficient, friendly service. The food (appetizers) were pretty good and inexpensive. We ordered the boneless buffalo wings and buffalo cauliflower. We also played a few games in the arcade, but there are not a lot of options. Overall, a fun enjoyable date night. By the way, we got a ($20) Groupon deal to use while we were in town, and fit in 5 games in about an hour and a half. Fun times!

UPDATE: READ ALL OF BUCKTOWNX REVIEWS. ALL 1-3 STARS. Duh this place is old, moron. Look when it was built. Anyway.... Typical bowling alley except they've added their own Scottsdale flair to it by charging 20 bucks for a 16" pepperoni pizza. Other than their food/drink prices it's a fun place!

I have been there before many times, but was really surprised that the monster size pizza was actually really good pizza. Although the rest of the food is generally decent, I believe it is overpriced. None the less, I will still go back as it is convenient and fun. That would be my only negative comment. It is dark with fluorescent lighting. It is a fun family outing.

This place is disturbly disgusting!! The manager is extremely rude. It is not kid friendly unless you don't mind your kids be subjected to sexually explicit behavior. We complained about the group of people next to us who were basically having sex on the seats. The manager claimed not to see it because as he said they are paying customers as well. NOTHING got done. They did offer to move our lanes but, we had 2 frames left and we were not going to stay for another game.... seeing as they do not really care what is happening in the establishment. We will go somewhere else where people aren't being over served alcohol to the point of having sex with every object and every person within their reach!!! ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BRINGING CHILDREN HERE!!! RUDE STAFF AND BAD MANAGEMENT!!!!

Decent atmosphere for a good time bowling with friends, but over the years the service has been sub-par.. Nearly impossible to get anyone to answer the phone when I call to check if they have availability, or if there is a private event, or even what the prices are (since they don't list them online..). Most of the time I have to drive there to see if the place is closed for a private event. I can't tell you how many times and gathered up some friends and went to go bowling just to arrive and find out they are closed for a private party. They should announce this on social media or the website somehow... It's very frustrating. The last trip we got there are were told 20 minute wait so we waited in the bar and they said they would come get us. After 45 minutes we went to ask if they were ready and they said yes but had to keep checking in people/adding them to the waiting list which made people already waiting, wait even longer. Took an hour just to start bowling, and when we couldn't get any service for food or drinks at our lane, we gave up and left. They need more staff and better management in place.

Our first experience at Bowlmor was certainly one to remember and I will return yet again. The cleanliness of the place was tops in my book. My experience with bowling alleys I see damaged and unclean rugs, tables a mess and bathrooms you wouldn't want to touch but not so for this location. The seating was quite comfortable, not your typical hard chairs. Access to bathrooms is easy. Menus are readily available as are the staff to take your orders. Quite pleasant to interact with I might add. The desk staff are actively looking for those needing assistance. When we had need at our lane a staff showed up without us having to ask. The quality of food? I can say pizza doesn't taste like cardboard or Chucky Cheese style. I've not known a bowling alley to serve fresh food, all are frozen and of the frozen variety this one is decent. I'm a fresh food kind of gal so frozens aren't my cup of tea. Shoe rentals are in good shape and clean. There are wheelchair accessible entries as well as to the alley. Video games are available and a bar to sit and chat with your buddies is also available and clean. Large screen TV's from wall to wall hover above each lane keeping one entertained while waiting their turn. A family friendly place.

I had a great experience at Bowlmor lanes. I went to use the $20.00 value on my expired groupon. It was a Tues. around 10pm which means their special was going on. $2.22 per game per person + shoe rental . They also offered $2.00 for $5.00 worth of arcade tokens..The staff was friendly and accommodating, By closing time (12am) my son and I had bowled 3 games and played over $20 ($8.00 my cost) in arcade games like pinball, galaga and a shooting game where you choose the animal you will be hunting. So, I went to pay and still had $1.73 remaining on my S20. groupon value. $18.27 = $13.32 for 2 people bowling 3 games each $4.95, (1 shoe rental for my son @ I brought my own) (the remaining $1.73 I put on the gaming card) That's a great value ! Now if you want to bowl here during their prime times be prepared to pay premium prices. But during the weekdays after 8 or 9 they have specials . Tuesdays are two dollar Tuesdays, $2.22 per game of bowling, $2.22 tacos, $2.22 long island ice teas . Check their website for specials and times

Terrible experience with lane malfunctions. We were moved to a different lane afterwards, then the lane wouldn't give us our ball back consistently. We went to check out and were overcharged. The approaches were sticky (not a whole lot they can do about), but the alleys do need some TLC. When asked about bowling ramps (for my daughter with a broken hand) they were primarily broken and in need of repair. Something I did like though was that they gave you multiple options to pick the right house ball. The porter was very nice, and the bar/arcade were nice looking.

Bowlmore Scottsdale is a fine establishment. Great big bar, video arcade, see: epileptics beware, friendly staff and great party bowl music at night. The lanes are a bit sticky, I beat my boyfriend who counts on slick lanes for his fancy curve ball to work. I just throw the ball. It's fun. Go there! Beat your boyfriend.

If you just want to bowl go. If your hungry or thirsty do not go hear. Went with a retired pro player, I can't bowl myself, but it was real hot out. Great a/c, good lanes, good music, chipped balls, shoes that don't slide, and the worst food in the world, so eat before you go. Bring powder they don't have any. Cashiers are very nice, friend said bartender is horrible.

Working in hospitality for 3yrs, the service here is the worst and disappointing. The price was not worth of the service and attitude. The manager here is not openmind and unable to communicate. We had 6 people and we were even willing to pay for another persons price to open another Lane. The basic understanding of Queuing theory and it’s effect on revenue would drastically improve this business. Don’t come here not worthy it!!!!!

Liked the atmosphere, customer service was great, but a little to much compared to other locations near by wish they had more deals for larger groups. The selection of balls were horrible and they all seemed pretty damaged you would think the more you pay the better selection and some of the appetizer were uneatabe I have a family of 7 of all ages and they wouldn't touch the nachos or the wings such a surprise but I loved the drink we had in the fish bowl. I don't Think I would go back but it was ok if you want to check it out.

Invited to a birthday party here and I didn't even know it existed! Have only been the once, but did enjoy the time there. The party we were with included a deal for two hours of bowling and food + drink tickets for a very reasonable price. I always seem to have a hard time finding a ball that isn't incredibly heavy that will still fit my hand, and I found several - that alone is worth its weight in gold!!! Only draw back (and this is maybe just because it was a Saturday night) but the DJ was *loud*... Almost shouting to talk to friends was not ideal, but again - maybe just because it was a Saturday. Also, weird note - tiniest bathroom stall I have ever used in my life. *Ever* Overall - clean, friendly staff, & good selection of bowling balls. Would definitely go again.

A nice scene for bowling, however, the food is very expensive and not at all up to par for the price you pay. The bar and arcade are nice, but if there are no bowling specials then your paying an arm and a leg for that too. Its an average overall experience at best, and if you dont make a reservation, you might be out of luck all together. They also do not have official closing hours, they close when they want to, so if they have a slow night and your going for some late night bowling, like they advertise they provide, then as stated above, you may again be out of luck. Your better off hitting up an AMF somewhere else

They moved the pool table out by the bowling lanes this is horriblr you cant play pool with out a random kid running into you and the stick. The service sucked they didnt even come check on our refills took over 30 minutes for some nachos (chips and cheese) i only gave the extra star because before when the table was in the bar area it use to be good. Hopefully they take out the kids arcade games and put them in the lobby and put the pool table back in the adult bar section. Even though kids can go in there too they dont as often because after all it is the BAR area. We stopped going and wont go back until this layout changes back. Even my kids who play pool was upset that the other kids were running around them.

Customer service is terrible. We planned a group party there and tried to call over 20 times during the day. No answer. So we just showed up a little early. Would not give us a lane without 7 bowlers?? So we finally had to reserve a lane and pay for at least 7 bowlers to start playing. I would like to say that the manager there did take over and was very nice. The girl at the counter was not.

We use to always come here to play pool the pool table use to be in the bar area. The guy at the counter tried to tell me no but I know its the same table because of the rip on it at the bottowm edge. Well now its out by the alleys and. Kids and people are running around you can't really play with out hitting a kid or a kid running into the cue. And now since its in the open the service is horrible they never once asked if we need a refill we had to keep asking. It to one 15 minutes for nachos which is literally chips and cheese on top. We had to go ask where they are and still waited another 5 minutes. I understand this is a bowling alley but there is an actual bar room for adults the table should be put back in there so not to worry about all the kids. We go here to play pool so the kids can go and we all can have fun kids and adults. Its hard to find a place to accommodate both interests. However now this place is loosing that one unique feature they had. Looks like we will be searching for a new alley

Exterior of the building is a little dated, but surprised by the updated interior. Pizza was surprisingly good for a bowling alley and having an actual bar is also nice. Good for groups or corporate events

Under-staffed. You have to wait in line as if you're at a ball game to get a drink, check in, etc. Employees really try to keep up but they just can't. Management/ owners need to get more help! Skip the food!

Checked this place out recently but was pretty disappointed. It smelled like old people in there. The ceiling and carpet was seriously out dated, like 1970's outdated. Just had an old/worn vibe, so we didn't stay. The lane area looks ok, but they should dim some of the lighting a bit, and add a few more black lights and remodel the whole interior.
