No. Just- no. When we first entered we were welcomed by an unfriendly cashier. We had 3 people and played 2 games. The cashier said that there was a wait and we would receive a text when there was an available lane. We waited about 20-25 minutes before we notice that people who had JUST ARRIVED got lanes. We then received a text about 5 minutes later. We arrived at the lane and we started a game. As we were playing, we noticed that our waiter was no where to be seen, only to show up after we ended our first game. We ordered water and that took waaaay too long to show up at our table. After we received our water he never came back. We were planning to order pretzels but I guess that was out of the question. After we finished, we went to pay, but before we did, my buddy got a notice that his credit card was suspected of fraud and the bank was closing the card. We confronted the manager about it and he was no help. Thanks, Bowlero

Fun, bright, and full of friendly staff. It's only been open since May 12, 2018, so it's still clean and new. They have great daily deals so it's an affordable time out and about (don't forget to treat your waitstaff well, even if the drinks and tacos are only $2.88 on Tuesdays after 8- they work hard and have a lot of people to take care of). Even on the low priced Tuesday night it wasn't insanely packed, so it didn't feel overcrowded or cause a long wait.

Beautiful bowling alley with a large current arcade, trendy decor and great lighting. We had bought a Groupon to use (as it is a new place) and we ended up bringing 2 additional people who were willing to pay full price to bowl with us. Unfortunately, the staff was incredibly rude about it and after much deliberation, finally told us they had no way to accept additional people with the Groupon. We said fine we'll take another Lane, but they told us we couldn't have 2 lanes with the size of our party. So two people ended up not blowing at all, which seems ludicrous to me to not accept full payment for games and shoes. Because of our experience, we probably won't go back.

Been here twice since it opened and figure this will be the last time. Very unorganized.This time they tell me I will be called when a lane is available, when there are obviously 4 open lanes in plain site. Waited about 30 minutes and asked if they had an idea, no,but your second on the list. Thirty minutes later I asked again and was told they texted me, showed my phone to the manager which had no text or call, he said we have a lane just go to the desk. I go over there and they tell me there's no lane. This place is a five minute walk from my apt, I will drive to Gilbert next time my family wants to bowl. This place is horrible. Forget about the food we ordered while waiting that never came.

Went bowling for the first time at Bowlero Scottsdale Sunday with my wife, kids, and parents. Such a fun place with a modern look and feel, not your usual bowling alley, a must try. Good food and great service. Da'Linqua was our lane host and she was just terrific, thank you!

Employees have no training whatsoever. We waited forever to get a lane while there were 10 open. Finally the girl admitted they had lost us in the system. I was a VIP at the grand opening of their Florida location and was expecting a lot more from the Scottsdale location. With what they charge per player there is no room for mistakes. It's a nice looking place and a great location, whoever takes it over after it closes should do well

Went bowling with my husband and had to order at the bar because it was busy. Go out lane and never had a server ever come up to us had to keep going to the bar. After we played games one of the machines were broken so we got our money put back on card but they took all the rest of our money on our card. So no service and took our money ??? Ugh my husband and I felt like we didn’t wanna keep complaining but its super annoying when you just wanna have a fun a Sunday and it was almost $40 just for bowling 2 games on a Sunday. Kinda an expensive place. Buy on Groupon so you can get your moneys worth... we didn’t because of the time restraints

Super fun, staff is awesome. Bartenders gave great drink recommendations, has options for a wide range of individuals arcade, bowling and a bar. Also, its large so it doesnt feel so crowded when its busy.

Newly opened. I didnt even know a bowling alley was there! So clean, all new. The last time I was bowling, everyone was smoking. Beautiful equipment and delighted happy full-of-personalty wait staff. Gotta have the pizza slices. SO good. Natchos a little spicy for me, but the chocolate chip cooky pizza with vanilla bean ice cream on top! The bomb! Thank you Impact Church for treating volunteers there. We will be back!

It's a little pricy, and the floors are usually a little dirty. Be careful on the lanes so you dont trip on any debris. Otherwise the atmosphere is nice and the arcade games are fun

Great looking place but our service was terrible. Staff was weird. Sitting space at the lane was limited. They put us between a group of 8 and group of 6. Had the server "make sure we weren't running out on him". When we got to the lane it was filthy and covered in fries and milkshake. Other lanes weren't cleaned. Bowling balls weren't returned. Our lane was unevenly oiled and with any spin the ball cut hard at the same spot to the gutter. I realize this is a lot to complain about and it doesn't seem legitimate but this was our actual experience....

For those hardcore bowlers, these lanes aren't regulation length. They're a bit shorter. Luckily, I'm not a bowler, so I have my best games at this alley. It's got a great atmosphere, lots to drink, and the food is surprisingly tasty. We come here for work events and always have a good time. But if I'm being honest, I'd come back for the short cute brunette girl alone.

The bowling was fun. The food acceptable. The online reservation process was horrible. Had to use it despite difficulties. The company rep told me that i was lucky and that she would enter my card by hand. Slow checkin at the bowling alley despite the online checkin. Was charged for two shoes not used. Was told at the front desk that the online people would correct it. The online people told me tough luck--no refund. Will only use cash in the future with this company if I go back.

If you truly bowl, don't go here. Lanes are horribly managed- 0 oil on them AND on top of that- the lanes are 6 ft shorter which I found out on the way out. Didn't have a single person check on me which is typical of all Bowleros- terrible service

Came on a Friday night intending to just Bowl a game or maybe 2 with a group of 4. It was just before 10PM, wasn’t told if we wait a few minutes we could do unlimited bowling. After we finished our first game we saw the advertising. Asked the server if bowling was unlimited now that it was after 10, he said yes. Nobody explained that in order to get the deal you have to entirely close out at the front and start over. Ended up bowling several more games thinking the price would be a flat rate, ended up costing our group of 4 over $200. Should have thought about loopholes like that but they could have explained at the beginning that it would be cheaper to have a drink at the bar and start in 10 minutes, or the server could have told us we need to close out and come back to get the deal. Manager on duty said there was nothing he could do. Had enjoyed my time there in the past but felt super mislead and can’t see going back now.

Attended a birthday party. Bowling setup was great, rails came up for my son's turns. Was fun to mix in a little arcade. Pizza was not good, but rest of the food was great. Few technical issues with our lane, but no big deal and was corrected quickly. My wife had an issue getting a drink, but was sorted out. I recommend this place, overall was top tier bowling experience.

Fun place! We went on a Thursday evening. The place is very new, less crowded. Bowling and shoes rental rates are very normal too. The place has a nice ambience too. They have a lot of arcade games too. The food options are also pretty good with a lot of varities. The staff here is very friendly too.

The place is awesome. What Bowlero has done to transform bowling alleys is simply amazing. The decor is cool and fun and the food is perfect for the environment. Big portions and decent quality. The only complaint that I have is the bowling lanes (at this location) don't seem very good. I'm not sure if they are regulation length or if they just weren't oiled properly. Regardless, everything was great except bowling. Go figure. With that said, for kid's parties or group events; this place is outstanding. For serious league bowlers, I don't think this would be up to par.

Bowlero is far different than most bowling alleys. I think my coworkers and I found our new hangout spot on Thursdays! Love this place and the people. From an entertainment standpoint, this place is pretty good (clean, staff are nice and helpful, lanes are in good shape). However, I visited about 2 weeks after opening and they are very slow getting Lanes and shoes, pretty slow with drink and food orders. Also, the sitting area for a lane is a tight sees for four adults if there are people in the two lanes next to each other. Also, you can tell from the set up, will not be a good league house unless they make an effort to oil and turn lights off for them.

I spent my money to go bowling and to be honest other than the cheese fries this was a disaster. The lanes had zero oil on them and I have my own ball that has a slight hook. Needless to say I bowled the absolute lowest games and I really tried. The guy who works there said they didn't have enough time to oil the lanes. So I wasted my money basically. They seem nice but I can't rate them high because my experience could have been avoided.

We have been here twice. Great unique experience with music, screens, bowling, arcade and great bar and food. Great quality shoes for rent and balls are new with great size options. Pricing is reasonable for the quality experience. Great beers on tap. They have a DJ on Saturday nights and he plays really good blend of 90s, hip hop, and pop. And he actually Djs and mixes music like vinyl. Great plus. One of the funnest outings in Scottsdale.

This was a fun place to go. The atmosphere was fun and family friendly. It was clean and well waited on by the staff. My one complaint was the cost. My husband and I happened in on a whim on a Sunday afternoon. We went to check in for bowling and they said they had about 5 people ahead of us waiting. That was fine, but there were random single lanes that looked available. Not sure why we couldn't use those for our party of 2. Oh well, so we went to play some games. The game cards cost you $1 just to be issued one. Then the games average about $1 a play. We were called for our lane in about 25 minutes. I needed to buy socks. That was a $4 plus charge. We bowled one game and had to go. The final charge for one game, 2 sets of shoes, and one pair of socks was about $30. The checking in and out process seemed a little confusing too. No one was sure of the line to be in and where to go. That could be remedied with a few signs or a single line. Overall it was fun. It was a bumped up version of the classic bowling alley but not as suped up as a Dave and Buster's. The fee on a card for spending more money on video games really bothered me.

Bought a great deal on Groupon for a team building event - 2 hours of bowling up to 6 people on each lane with shoes included and I bought two. However you cannot reserve lanes if you had bought a Groupon deal. That's fine so I got there early and tried to get a couple lanes. They had lanes available (around 3:30pm) but had to wait for my group. Instead of wasting time, we hung out and the Front Desk lady gave me and my coworkers game cards for 10 credits which was super nice of her. Once everyone was there, we bowled and had fun. We were on the 8th frame (for 12 people) and had about 5 minutes left. I went up and was willing to buy more time to finish up the game. However, the guy at the front desk said we couldn't add more time because we bought the Groupon and there's nothing we can do about it. I worked at a bowling alley and there are many ways to add extra time, especially on their exact system they are on, but he gave us no option and I was a little ticked off about that he wasn't willing to work with us at all. The front desk ladies, the waitresses and waiters were really good, but the front desk guy was terrible. This was Friday, April 12, 2019 between 3:30 and 6pm.

Took my grandchildren (ages 2 & 4) to bowl Saturday and get out of the AZ heat. I can not say enough about how well we were treated!!! All of the staff I encountered could not have been more accommodating. The kids loved it!!! Bright and clean and great service!!! They especially enjoyed the arcade area AND watching Grandma try and bowl!!! Great time...I highly recommend.

The '70 convertible mustang was super cool. Free roam in and around it. The video games were, very entertaining. Pro tip; but the hour long game pass. You cannot win tickets with it. Though, you can play unlimited during that time. Even adults can enjoy this. A woman and I played most all of the games.

It's a fun arcade/bowling alley to visit. The servers are always friendly. I've only ever had a couple beers when visiting so I can't speak to the food. All machines and lanes I've used have been well maintained and functioned as expected. My son loves to visit this place with me.

I really enjoy the concept of this family fun place, however, the service is terrible. The food is good. The games are fun. And, we had a blast bowling. However, finding someone to take your order, get your order correct, or close out your tab was extraordinarily difficult. One would think that they would focus on improving service for every aspect where they make money. But, they just would not come ask us if we wanted more to drink or to close out our tab at the end of our bowling.

Bowlero is a fun spot for bowling, parties and drinking! The staff were super friendly and helpful..... When you could find them. They could have just been short staffed when we were there, but we had to wait 10-15 minutes at the bar for a bartender, as in, there was no one behind the bar, at all. The bowling system was easy to figure out, including bumpers for the kids. But once again, we had to hunt down a server to order at the lane. She was overwhelmed, but very nice. The kid's cheeseburgers and fries were good. We also had the red pepper hummus. It tasted fine, but had a lumpy consistency. Overall, we would go back! It's a great summertime in Phoenix place (as in dark and cold). I'd just like them to work on their service systems so I don't have to work so hard to order a Moscow mule.

This was a great time! The bowling alley is very nice and is filled with great arcade games that use a digital card system to pay with credits and the 'tickets' you win get loaded on the card! The bowling was great, and they even had a DJ playing fun music. Be sure to get the beer tower and the fishbowl cocktail! Not too expensive for a lot of alcohol. Service at the lanes however was incredibly slow and the servers forget about you.

Good times were to be had but at a price my friend. 6 dollars a game per person is expensive if you want to play 5-6 games and then 5 bucks for shoe rental. Anyway, it's fun with a fist full of cash. Personally, I think the drinks were a little weak and I am a light drinker. The atmosphere was great and the more friends you go out with the better.

We had a really fun time here. The ambiance is amazing and there’s a large bar area. We didn’t order any food, but the menu looked extensive. Lots of burgers and shareables. There was a server who came to our lane several times to make sure we were doing well. I didn’t experience anything wrong with the service. The staff at the desk when you walked in were very friendly and knowledgeable. We’re looking forward to coming back.

I cannot remember which lane we were on but it malfunctioned a few times. The pins malfunctioned at the end of our 1st game and into the start of the 2nd. A gentleman who I am assuming was the manager question if we had a good time and asked if we had any issues. We advise that we did have issues and the gentleman apologized and explained that he would cover the cost of our game and shoes. I really appreciate the customer service and I love the style of the bowling alley. I would compare it to Lucky Strike in downtown Phoenix.

One of the best places to go for a fun night out. This place has a great vibe. The decor is awesome. There are places to lounge with a drink, sit at the great bar, or bowl! This isn’t your traditional bowling alley, it really is a great time. Food is great, and they have Gluten Free options too!

Bowlero not only was extremely overpriced, but the second I arrived home I became extremely ill. I have never been so sick after eating in my entire life. ( Extreme discretion advised ) I threw up for over a half hour from eating their avalanche nachos. Nachos! How is that even possible? I will definitely be calling to report this tomorrow. I cannot even comprehend how such a simple meal could POISON me so severely. WE WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN. BEWARE. After carefully reading other reviews there is also many other complaints I can agree with. 1. The seating per lane was very limited, if your family size is larger than 4 I cannot imagine how everyone could sit comfortably. 2. Our server was very inattentive. 3. The actual lane seemed shorter than normal. 4. The equipment they offer ( the bowling balls ) were very generic. 5. The youngest of our group was uncomfortable with the fit of the ball. 6. The lanes were overly oiled, there was no traction.

I had fun its clean and the staff is friendly but for a family of 4, bowling 2 games it costs $75.00!!! That didn't include the food and drinks we had. SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS! It definitely was not $75.00 worth of fun. It took all of 30 minutes to bowl 2 games. That's $37.50 a game. I was shocked at the price and felt they should have been more upfront about the price we may have been 1 game and done or maybe not at all.

I liked the atmosphere of the place, but will not be coming back to this establishment. My first impression of the service is that the staff seemed lazy, thirty five minutes plus seems excessive for fries and two drinks. I recommend either going out for food first, or after coming to Bowlero.

Awesome experience. We took a company team building day to go bowling. The place looks fantastic. Large open lanes, open bar, an area for arcade games. We all ate, drank, and bowled all afternoon.

We asked the counter guy to give us lanes as far away from the kids birthday as possible. He agreed and put us at the far side of the building, PERFECT!

Beautifully decorated, open space with booth seating with bar area, arcade, and many Lanes for bowling. The pizza is decent and pitchers of beer is limited. Staff is only one of, not very friendly... Server spilled beer on me while passing it to my bf and did not apologize. Regardless I eally enjoyed our family time here. The bowling system is easy to navigate and I like how you can turn bumpers on per person for the group instead of manually pull it up for the entire group or not. I would come back.

My daughter's birthday party at Bowlero North Scottsdale one of the best experiences and the most fun we've had a family in a long time. Mackey White went above and beyond with his service. He was very kind and always checked to make sure we had everything we needed. The bowling alley was awesome with the Arcade games on one side, a nice bar in the middle and places to take memorable photos with props on the other side. Everything was easy, accessible, and kid friendly with no hassles. The ball sizes were easy to use and all sizes are available, they even have bumpers on lanes that go on off when needed. The shoes were good quality and the place was clean. It was so much fun to do something out of the norm and actually have a good time while truly enjoying yourself. The food was good and the party packages make it easy to choose what you want and the food is bought out buffet style for your party guests. Everyone that attended the party had a blast and are ready to come back again. Thank you to Kali and Mackey for all of your help and readiness, making sure everything ran smoothly. You guys did a great job! I highly recommend you bring the family out for fun night at Bowlero North Scottsdale!

This was a fun place to bowl! My girlfriend invited me to her company Christmas party, and there was unlimited bowling for a couple hours. Food here is pretty good, and I ate tons of it because it was an endless fajita bar. The servers were very nice, and checked back often if we wanted drinks. The music was awesome because they had a DJ, and he knew how to pick great songs that were lively.

Jordan or whoever he was put us on lane 35 to segregate us away from everyone. I asked to be with the crowd and he didn’t budge. My sons and I felt completely isolated like we were put in a corner away from others bowling. We ended our night with 1 game but we wanted to play 3-4 games. I told him I was bored and disappointed that he put us so far away from the next party. We had 10 lanes in between and he knew it. Never going back. I’ll stick with AMF
