Bunch of young employees so the kitchen can be hit or miss...customer service is ehhh depending on your "friend" status w the counter employees...know someone your golden...don't know anyone working there you may need to get their attention if you want served. I still visit because it is so close to home...lol...glutton for punishment. Lol

They close early. We got there at 10 and paid our money for their unlimited bowling thinking we still had 2 hours to enjoy ourselves. By 10:50 I got thirsty so went to get something to drink only to be told they were closing in 10 minutes. None of this would have been a problem except no one had told us they were closing early until i had gone to get a drink. I never expect much from AMF but that kinda puts the nail in the coffin.

Amf at union hills is a very fun and family friendly bowling alley. It is relatively inexpensive to bowl although food is a bit on the pricey side especially given the fact that there is a pizza place neighboring the alley and a McDonald’s right across the parking lot. All in all it’s a nice place to go in order to have fun with friends and/or family.

Lanes need a lot of work . Couldn't even slide on floor wear in Lanes make it hard to bowl for younger kids that don't roll ball hard enough. Other than that it was fun but will not go back it's worth driving further to play on better newer updated establishment .

we had a birthday party here last Saturday, without buying a birthday package. My grandson turned 8 + 4 boys and we had a 2-1/2 yr old too. Bob went way above and beyond to help us get situated, brought out the bowl slide, helped us retrieve balls 3 times, helped pick out the right size and weights of bowling balls and just was so very pleasant and patient the whole time!! Thank you BOB

I love to bowl, but the sensors were off on our lane and constantly miscounted pins. Also, it's over double the price on Saturday versus Friday. Not worth it. I'll return but only on a Friday.

They dont know how to treat the customers. Couple of employees and the skinny manager guy is so rude. We were playing on an open lane for 3 hrs and they threatened to leave the place as they have the lane reserved for someone else. There is a way to request, but instead they were so rude to us. If you want to spend good time this is definitely not the place to visit

The bartender Jonathan was so awesome!!! He was quick to greet me, had great customer service. I usually like plain vodka/ cranberry he suggested the electric berry lemonade, which ended up being so good. Defiantly will be ordering that drink more often now. It gets really busy, sometimes 45 minutes wait for a lane. My last visit was unfortunate.. we were told 15 minutes wait. We had a drink at the bar and when we checked in it was about another 30 because they were giving away the available Lanes to folks showing up after us. We were pretty sure we let them know, but it was so busy maybe they forgot about us in the bar.

An extremely great staff, they are always nice but I liked the old management better but its still a cool place, I would recommend going to the $2 tuesadays. 2 dollars a game and 2 dollars per shoe rental its really well priced, they also have beer and pizza for 2 dollars each on Tuesdays but the beer is really small, the pizza is definitely worth it though.

Good fun! Prices have gone up. $6 per person per game and $6 for shoes. Worth the family fun!

My wife and I like to bowl a cat Bo rounds of bowling. It's a good way to spend time with your family and to wind down. The place is a nice clean place and serves drinks and a few food items. I'd recommend it to my friends to boil a couple rounds at AMF it's a great bowling alley. Easy location right off 35th Avenue and Union Hills or the back of the Plaza.

Worst place and management threatened us as we are foreigners...all of sudden they asked us to leave, hence we had to call cops and complain...looks like they dont like foreigners... I wish I can talk and complain to AMF higher management

These lanes aren't too bad. I bowl a league up there as well. Prices are on par with all AMF and Brunswick lanes now that they are owned by the same parent company. The one thing Is have noticed is several issues with the ball returns and scoring system having to be corrected. I would give five stars if that weren't as big of an issue or as commonly noticed.

Very homey feel. Wasn't packed on a Saturday afternoon when I went. Relatively clean, not a high tech neon place like it here alleys. This place is just cozy. I gave it 5-stars cause I can't find anything I'd change about it. Yah, there's probably better alleys, but this one is just cozy. Edit: can probably take one star off cause the staff is obviously entirely teenagers.

Employees don't care, corporate doesn't know how to run an alley. Go to another alley if you want a better interaction with staff. They serve raw food and when confronted with it the employees didn't care enough to get a manager. When the manager came out to finally talk and replace the food that food was raw. Service takes forever. They don't care about leagues at all.

Bowling was fun the bartender was really nice and knew how to mix drinks. On the downside the ladies bathroom was a mess. The toilets wouldn't flush properly and the hand soap dispenser almost fell off the wall.

We all had a great time for Isaac's birthday! Happy birthday buddy! AMF is a very clean bowling alley. They also have nice clean shoes and a great assortment of organized balls plus slick lanes. The food was good and priced fairly and the staff was great! Thank you! The only draw back is if you have a groupon you can't reserve a lane. If it wasn't for that I would definitely give them 5 stars.

This location has excellent staff, very friendly! Everything is kept tidy and clean and well maintained. Convenient parking, and easy access to the main road. Large, well kept restrooms conveniently located. Decent prices, even on concessions which are also pretty decent (yum) Highly recommended for single bowlers and can accommodate larger groups with little notice - we've brought a larger group (10-15) young people in with no appointment several times and had no issues.

Always loved coming here! Always a great time and fun! I only have one setback ( which is not a real set back for most ) No changing table in the bathroom for little ones! Granted, I understand not many people are going to bring kiddos in diapers to a bowling ally, but I was not the only one with a kiddo in diapers there, At least to have one in the ladies room would be great! Like I said, its not a set back on the place as a whole, It wont stop me from coming in :)

Decided to spend a day out with the wife, we went to the bar to order a few drinks just to find out the bartender with the blondish pink hair would spend 15 minutes talking to another customer completely ignoring us. It was very clear that she was talking inappropriately with that customer. Then when she finally noticed I needed help she sighed as if I were bothering her, then had to wait for her to fix the drink she messed up after all of that. I mentioned something to the tall skinny manager and he acted like he didn't even care. Honestly ruined my whole experience my wife highly agrees and I highly recommend choosing a different center!!! ANY OTHER CENTER! Just embarrassing.- This is not a family friendly place.

My 2 sons (ages 12 and 19) and nephew (age 19) went there on a Thursday evening which is college night. They were discriminated against and kicked out because they were told they “smelled” like weed. Why did they even take their money and give them a lane if that was the case? We are talking about a 12 year old child and 2 sophomores attending college at a local Christian University in which 1 of them plays basketball on the college team and would never risk losing his scholarship by smoking. The police were called and my son willingly told the officers they could check them and whatever else to prove they had no dealings with drugs. It was the lane next to them but because my kids were black they continued to racially profile and discriminate them! Upon being kicked out they refused to refund their money. While outside talking with the police a white kid from the lane next to them came out and told the officers it was their friend who had since left who was smoking and still no apology or change of events. The manager on duty that evening Matt Beard is a racist and should no longer be employed by AMF. No children should have to go through something like this, be treated like this, and furthermore be falsely accused not to mention I didn’t know “smelling” like weed was even a thing or not allowed since weed is legal in Arizona. I am now in touch with another manager Jake, corporate, The Better Business Bureau, and exploring further legal options.

I've always had to wait for a lane when visiting this place. Last time they said it would be about 15 minutes and ended up being 40 minutes just to have them come over to us (we were at the bar) and say it would actually be another 45 minutes. Not sure what is up but it seems like the location is having trouble handling the high traffic flow.

Nice, albeit old, bowling alley. I had scheduled 2 lanes for our group. There were no 11 or 11.5 size shoes. Bowling for the first hour was enjoyable. After the 1st hour a very large group arrived. They seemed to ignore us, celebrating in our lanes, and taking up the entire back area so we couldn't even get through to the bathrooms, put the balls away, or return our shoes. We left an hour early because of them. It would have been pretty simple to move them down to the end, and move us more towards the middle - poor planning on the alley's fault.

Other then the location this place is at, great a fair amount of parking clean , friendly and great prices depending on the day of the week. Small nice bar and pool area, large TV's and comfortable seating. We haven't had a chance to try thier food or alcohol drinks so can't comment on that, overall we have fun with our children and grandchildren bowling here.
