They hang up on me because I have an accent. I tried to say what I wanted to say one more time, the did not even make any effort to understand me, they hang up while I was trying say communicate with them. There are certainly other place in town that can provide a better experience.

Never again. I'll grow a uni brow and look like a cave man before I ever let anyone here touch my face or my hair. My eye brows are noticeably bad . One starts further back than my eye and the other starts where it's supposed to but it's thicker I look dumb. I'll own up to the hair because I was advised to not get side bangs....but I've always had a side bang or bangs. I don't even know what the hell is on my head at this point I gave up. It styles fine but is no way even or a bang it's a hack job. I'll be finding someone to at least fix my hair as for the eye brows I'll just be looking like an idiot until it grows back if it even grows back. I would not recommend this place. Maybe if you're a dude and just want your head shaved fine but anything more than a buzz cut seems incapable.

Had a great experience! Called the morning I wanted to get in, got an appointment, and Ashley did a fantastic job, especially considering what she had to work with. They are, however, cheap for a reason- blow drying is not included in a basic cut and shampoo, you have to upgrade to a “basic style” for that, which comes with an extra $10 charge for hair longer than the shoulders. That being said, if you’re looking for a cheap, quality cut, you’ve found the place.

I had a very poor experience the colored my hair and the color came out in less than 2 weeks I paid for permanent hair color and since I didn't use their products they wouldn't guarantee my color. I was lied to it was temporary color and the money you have to pay for the low quality is not worth it.

Sorry to give 1 star. But I went there to get my sons hair cut for the first time. I didn't have an appointment. But it's walk in. We waited about 15mins to get spoken to. We got looked at a bunch of times. But finally they said come back around 730pm, so, ok we left did some things ate etc..it was 5pm dinner time. Went back by 715. Waited and waited and waited for 25 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. We got looked at they knew we were there, just to get told that they can't do it ran late in the last appt. The last appt got done at 735! 5mins after when she told me to be back! Every other salon was closed after that point. Not happy to have wasted my time. Will not go back.

I made an appointment to have a spiral perm done. That was fine, she quoted me a price which I thought was pretty great since I had long hair (almost to my waist) as well as a time frame of how long it was going to take. I was the first appointment that morning and waited to be seen for about 15 minutes, which was fine. I told her what I wanted and then showed her a picture I had found online. She discusses it with another clinician which probably should have made me head for the door but I really wasn't feeling she was incompetent. First I get the wash and she can barely get a brush threw it, felt like she was trying to rip my hair out.Then she puts conditioner in it to comb and cut it which then required another wash and combing. Finally after about 4 hours my hair is in rollers and ready to be processed. 3 hours later my hair looks like it's fried, I've been put under a dryer; She cut it again after she was done and tried to say it was damaged from highlights I got 18 months ago. My hair is fried from about 2 inches away from my scalp and barely reaches my bra strap. After 7 hours I left feeling like I had wasted not only my whole day but also being charged an additional 40 because I HAD long hair before I went there. I was told I would have to go back to get conditioning treatments to help repair the damage caused by the perm. 72 hours later I washed it and found I have no curls, I barely have waves and all it does is frizz, not to mention the hand full of hair that break off daily. If all you want is a perm don't go here. My mistake was trusting them to know how to perform a task they were trained to do and not charging me extra for hair I no longer have due to damage caused by trusting them.

Difficult to get in because they're understaffed and only take same-day appointments (which is why I took a star off). But the prices are really low and the stylists do really good work. So for the price range their service is superior.

I took my son to this salon! The woman cutting his hair refused to look at the picture I wanted to show her. She told me she knew my son wasn't going to hold still long enough, yet he did. His hair is no different than when he went in! She did nothing to it. I am so furious. That was a wasted $12.

We took our 5 year old daughter in today (9/24/16) for a hair cut. During the time she was having her hair cut the workers were carrying on conversations that included a lot of profanity and talking about sexual acts. When I confronted the manager she did not want to take any responsibility for it even though she was one of the main ones doing the talking. I finally had to get a number of her manager to file a complaint. Not a professional place and not a place you should ever visit.

Asked for a fade left with a nearly shaved head I even showed the one which did the cut a picture of what I wanted and she refused to look at it again. My hair wasn't even styled in a fade design just shaved I left feeling my scalp and wondering why. Show was given a license in the first place.

Claimed to be better than a barber. Cut my hair in under ten min and was totally uneven. Rude and seemed in a hurry. Then got upset when I asked if she could cut a little shorter hoping it would fix the issue, but no she rushed and said okay your done thank you. DO NOT GET A HAIR CUT HERE.

Be sure to make an appointment, Erin was working solo and had to turn away quite a few walk-ins. Hopefully salon management can fix this.

My husband took our 15 year old in for a haircut yesterday. Extremely unhappy with the result!! Asked for a #2 fade. He came home looking like Justin Briber! She used a #1 on the sides and back and left the top long. You can see every line where she cut and she didn't blend it at all. I used to do hair for a living and because of a recent surgery I was not able to do his hair this time. If I had made someones hair look like this I could not have charged the customer for it. Now I am going to have to pay someone to fix my sons so I get to pay twice for a simple haircut!! Turns out it was the manager that did his haircut.

This is one fine hair salon! After I realized they dont offer the "bald man special" like over at Lloyd's, I quickly got down to brass tacks which is they know how to make a bald man beautiful! They had sever suggestions and were really friendly. I think I'll go back next time I need a haircut.

I have never met such a positive and professional hairdresser (Ashley) who is also a manager complain. Ashley does so much and still manages to keep her clients happy. Un even and chunky fade, didn't line my hair up, didn't even give me the cut I asked for, sloppy and in a hurry when only 2 customers there with 5 people working... Asked for a fade which is a very common haircut, instead have back and sides of head shaved without being faded into the top of my hair.

Chris, the lady who did my hair was excellent. However, she had appointments after me so my mom was left to the other stylists who didn't seem to want to do their jobs. While Chris is cutting hair, taking phone calls and handling walk ins the other two are busy jabbering away. Even when she went back and reminded them that there is a lady waiting they continued to talk and move things around. Never once did either look at my mom. We left and even with Chris service I don't think we'll be back

Spoke to Ashley on the phone for less than one minute. She told me to give her a time and she would see if it was available. So I said ok let me ask my husband, who was sitting next to me, and her response was ok I'm going to get back to cutting hair. That was highly unprofessional, the phone call was less than 1 minute and would have still been less than 1 minute because my husband heard me say let me ask my husband and was already giving me a time. I have never been to smartstyle hair salon and, because of that phone conversation, never will. Considering the laughing and joking going on when you answered the phone for the first 20+ seconds before you actually said thank you for calling smartstyle, I would say a less than 1 minute phone call with me wouldn't have hurt you whatsoever.

If you want them to cut your hair you have to walk in the doors exactly when they open. I called yesterday and they told me to call at 10 today. I called at 10:02 and no one picked up the phone as it rang for almost 6 minutes. Called back almost a dozen times and finally got someone to answer but they told me they were booked for today (this was at 10:18). Refused to let me make an appointment for the next day. I don't know why it's so difficult to get a haircut here. At least 5 other people had better luck than me because they decided to walk into Walmart at exactly 10am on a Saturday. I'm glad no one told them to call or they would be in the same boat. The one time I did go in earlier this year, they cut my hair with a big shelf on the back that was supposed to be a gradual fade of layers. I guess it's a good thing they are too difficult and won't work with people when they tell them to do something. Cheap, but would NOT recommend.
