I don't write many reviews, but I've been getting my hair cut here for over a year now. I'm happy with it and I really want Sandy to do well. It's a cheap, no-fuss haircut that always looks good, and Sandy is always nice to talk to. Why roll the dice at a budget chain when you can so easily get a cut from someone experienced AND support a fellow Madisonian in the process? Just call. She probably has an opening right now.

Asked for a high fade with about an inch on top. Got a high and tight with a patch up front. If you are a hipster this place is good, but if you have a job then I wouldn't recommend it.

About a year ago my wife looked up a barber for me on yelp. We found Sandy's and made an appointment for the same day. We were well pleased with how Sandy cut my hair. I've been coming to her ever since. Sandy's place is small, but you never have to wait long. She takes about 15 minutes to do a haircut and quick style. We've never had a problem explaining what we would like done. Sandy has always listened attentively and given suggestions.
