I had been referred by a friend to come and try getting my haircut here. I was leery on trying a new stylist. I have spent HUNDREDS of dollars on product, styles and advice, that got me nowhere. Not to mention i have thinning hair. But after my haircut, I was AMAZED on how Monica did my hair and all the advice she had for me. I suggest anyone who has this issue to go see her personally! Took my twin boys in for haircuts as Friday evening walk ins. First time ever going to Rich’s Barber Shop but they came highly recommended. We were greeted with a warm welcome. Service was great and the barber did a great job with my boys haircuts. Highly recommend for anyone needing a good barber shop in Oshkosh.

I had just got my haircut done here. I'm White/Latino and have very easy hair to cut. (It really needed to be cut). Hard to mess up. Anyway, I asked for a 2 on the sides and faded up into a little longer on top so I can spike it. Well this "barber" decided to take it upon himself to shave, yes SHAVE the sides down to a buzz cut and the fade ending was so high to the top, it was higher than a military crop. It was the short equivalent to a 90's high fade afro. Ridiculous. The left side of the top clearly isn't faded in at all with the buzz (That I didn't want). With a beard, you can imagine this looks quite ridiculous. He spends 40 minutes trimming the most unimportant part about your hair (all the little outlines and notches. I don't want it and I don't need it because it hasn't made my hair look any better. It's made me look like damaged Arnold Swarzenegger T-100 from the first Terminator with half the sides of his head burned off. And for a whopping 24.50; I think I'll avoid any barbershops for the rest of my life because I am sick of people not caring about my hair at all when they cut it. I came here to pay more because of continuis bad qaulity haircuts. What happens? I pay more and get messed with even more. Also, if you like people who talk about drugs, taking advantage of woman and other nafarius illegal activities; then by all means, go get your haircut at Rich's Barbershop. Good riddance. Last chance I gave a barber. Now I have to go buzz my hair and beard all away into making myself look 10 years older than I actually am. Thanks a lot. -Nicholas Prada

Best haircuts in Oshkosh and to be frank, the best place I've gone to get a haircut in along time. Rich knows what he is doing and is very good at it. I would recommend calling ahead for an appointment, like a week or so out. If walk ins are your thing, you might be waiting like 15 minutes depending on the time of day with UWO being so close but, is defiantly worth the wait. Plus this time gives me a bit of time to watch the Brewers. Thanks Rich! Can't wait to see you in the fall again!

She was very professional, remembered him from several months earlier and did a great job on his hair. She made good suggestions for styling his hair and recommended a colleague for dreads maintenence. It was an excellent experience. I highly recommend Monica.

I moved here to Oshkosh in August and didn't really know where to go to get my beard cleaned up professionally. I made a post asking where to go and the majority said, "Go see Barber Rich!". So, I finally decided it was time. I was scheduled to come in at 7PM and I showed up a few minutes early. Barber Rich was finishing up with another client but greeted me as soon as I came in. I took a seat on the couch as he finished up and I was in his chair within 5 minutes of my appointment time. He asked what I wanted to do and I let him know I wanted it cleaned up but dont mind if he takes it down a bit to do so. He did a fantastic job. I only got my beard trimmed this time but will go back when I need my hair cut. His prices are amazing and you get a barber style experience when going. Check him out next time you need a haircut or shave.

Last time I was in this place although I loved the laid back atmosphere with his son and dog in the building the service itself was awful. I called and asked if they were taking walk-ins and they said yes so I went in, waited for about an hour and all he did was sit with his kid and did not acknowledge me whatsoever, so I walked out and said I would never return.
