Larry Sr. cut my hair. Very nice job. Very clean shop. Even as a new customer felt very welcomed. No appointments. Walk-ins only. Enjoyed the old school feel of the place run by his son Larry Jr. I will be back. They do hair, beards and shaves. Good prices.

Devon is flat out the best men’s cut barber in janesville, and maybe southeast Wisconsin. I just can’t get a clean cut like I get her anywhere else. With other barbers, it’s always just a unprofessional looking, sloppy, and they don’t know how to fade to save a life. My fades coming out of Larry’s barber shop are well done and have a nice transition cut by a barber who understands what I mean when I say I want the fade to start at a zero. Won’t go anywhere else. Any barbers reading this... learn how to do a proper medium reg. If you don’t know what that is I don’t want to give you business.

I really like this place. I went in today right after visiting Tom Arynx's barber shop; they had missed a lot of things on my cut and I wanted to get them fixed. Walked right into the shop and he cleaned me up. He went over all of the little details I wanted fixed, trimmed me up and did well to try and get rid of the leftover hairs on my head. He didn't charge me anything at all! This is a very nice and comfortable shop, they did an excellent job and I will be back soon!

I waited to review Larry's Barber Shop for a year to be able to give a true and honest review. From day one when I first visited, Larry Jr. has been consistent, reliable and personable. He's a good guy and a talented barber. This is where you should be spending your money for a hair cut. He not only remembers my hair style but he also remembers me without having to check his computer like corporate joints. Not to mention the guy is also a Bikers Against Child Abuse (B.A.C.A) rider. If you want to support your local Lawrence community at the same time while getting a professional haircut, I highly recommend Larry's Barber Shop. Larry Sr. is pretty good too.

I had been unable to find a place where I could get a haircut I felt confident about, until I came here! Devon does a great job, is friendly, fast, and offers great rates. I also saw him patiently cutting the hair of a young child who is likely on the autism spectrum and was afraid to get a haircut. Devon helped keep the child calm and provided a great haircut. Honestly if I ever leave this city, this barber shop will be one of the things I'll miss the most!

Great haircut at a fair price. Shop is kept neater and in better repair than others I’ve been in on Mass St. Other shops on Mass St I’ve been in also had a lot of drama among the staff. Staff complaining openly about the owner, staff complaining about other staff, etc. It’s really nice to get a haircut and not have to listen to staff complaining.

I went in here earlier today while waiting to meet up with my oldest niece (KU student, by the way) for lunch at The Roost. I have needed a haircut for a while now and saw this place practically right nextdoor. I felt great walking in and incredible after everything was done. We had a great chat with the barbers and found out one of them is from Iola! Small world. Great atmosphere. And awesome service. Definitely appreciate them keeping it old school and also able to mix with modern, and highly recommend these guys!

As a senior about to graduate from KU, I cannot recommend Larry's Barber Shop enough. It is by far the best barber shop in town. When I was a freshman, I tried out multiple barber shops across Mass Street, and Larry's is easily the best. Both Larry and Larry Sr are great guys who will give you a great haircut.

I have had a few boyfriends use Larry's and for the price it can't be beat, however, Senior often misses a few places on the back of the head and his cuts have gotten lazier. Junior is the one you want, but he's never available so I always end up behind my boyfriend with a pair of scissors to even out the tufts that Senior left behind. Still, good price and it's fast.
