Casey and his crew at SeaWolf Barbershop are amazing! They do everything from edgy modern haircut and trends to classic cuts. He is great with fades and shear work... highly recommended in Tacoma and if you are from Seattle, it’s worth the drive. His shop is located in antique row (strips of various antique stores) in downtown Tacoma and he books up super quick so please plan ahead as a good barber is a busy barber. Again, highly recommended.

Really solid place. My wife is crazy picky about my hair and even she loved the work Casey did! This is the place to go if you want a quality cut and a man who will work to get you looking the way you want. If you want a quick cut this ain't the place. But Casey made it feel like he was just a friend cutting your hair. I got a long cut that took about an hour, felt like 20 mins!

The best barber I've had. Casey sells great hair/shaving products too and has a stylist that does amazing color/treatment as well. I always leave with a great looking cut that not only looks good the few days after but continues to grow out well the weeks following. Other barbers don't care about that and considering how much thick cowlick-ridden hair I have that's no easy feat. Treat yourself and go to seawolf!

If you actually CARE about how your hair looks and is cut, then this is the place to go. I receive my cut by Casey and he has gone way over and beyond anything i could have expected in a barber! You will receive all the attention you need and be given all the advice you need to maintain your hair and stay looking fresh. No quick cheap mediocre cuts here! Found this shop randomly one day when I was googling barbers in the area, and since then haven't trusted anyone else with my hair. Casey is such a talented barber. He really listens to the client, and takes his time with the cut to make sure everything looks perfect. He also has given me some great advice on general hair care and how to style it quick and easily. I make the trek from Seattle to see Casey in Tacoma when I need a cut and can say its absolutely worth it. Good hair is a confident booster for anyone, and I always feel great after a cut from Casey!

I love that this salon is LGBTQ FRIENDLY <3; There are hair stylists, and there's Taylor....she's a true master. Being from New York City, I've been to many well known salons and I've never had a better stylist. She can look at any picture you show her, analyze and nail it. She's also the bang whisperer. Anyone with bangs knows it can go really wrong, really fast but not in Taylor's hands. She listens and ensures I always leave with exactly what I have asked for. I don't think I've written a review in years, but when someone is that good, you just have to pay it forward. Customer service is top notch here and I look forward to going back every time. The haircut I got was outstanding and by far the best I've ever gotten. If you're on the fence because of the price difference between budget places like GreatClips don't be, it was worth every penny and more. Because the cut was so well done, doing my hair took less time in the morning and your hair just does what it's supposed to long after the cut. The attention to detail and service here was outstanding. For me personally it made all the difference having a person specialized in men's hair. They gave me great recommendations for both hair and beard care, including shampoo recommendations. I had no idea saving a few dollars on product was doing so much damage to my hair and scalp. I've already started recommending this place to all my friends and encourage you to try them. I fully expect you'll become a long-term customer too.

Seawolf is a great place and fun to visit. Casey does great cuts and clipper work. You can also get whatever hair products you need right there. They have lovely art in the shop, and there are wonderful shops to visit right there on Broadway for arts and antiques, so allow time to explore when you come for your haircut.

Took my husband and son here as a walk in. (I had originally had a appointment at another barbering location in the area, to which the barber did not keep. He sat his friend down first on our appointment time and asked us to wait. Totally unprofessional. We decided to leave ) SO WE FOUND SEAWOLF BARBERSHOP AND OUR EXPERIENCE WAS AMAZING!!!!!! Taylor took us in and even though she had clients she made sure to accommodate us and her original clients . She gave both my son and husband an amazing haircut. I love the vibe of this place. I went to Seawolf to get my first haircut after moving to the area and I struck gold in coming to Casey. Seawolf has an awesome vibe and is located in a great area in downtown. Casey takes his time and is really patient in getting you the end result you’re looking for. Great conversation and really a great overall experience. Replacing a barber after moving when you’ve been going to the same person for a long time is tough. I will continue to go to Seawolf going forward.

Best haircut I’ve had in my life, hands down! My hair has always been a challenge for most pros, so I end up settling for mediocre cuts. Casey really took his time on me, making sure every hair was going to lay just right for my pompadour style and even pointed out a few mishaps from my last haircut that I was unaware of - and fixed them so the grow out would be even. I really appreciate his attention to detail and persistence. The aesthetic of the shop is really cool, vintage mixed with modern - I could spend hours just hanging out there. The selection and quality of styling products is impressive - I love that he doesn’t just carry the same stuff as all the other shops - he cares about using products that are more natural, organic, non irritating, good smelling, but not overpowering. The hot towels smell incredible - I even splurged a little and bought the Crown Shaving Co. tonic just so I could keep getting a whiff of that amazing scent! Good location, easy parking, top notch service, fair pricing... this shop is a dream! Thanks for getting me RIGHT, Casey!!
