This is by far the cheapest place in Stowe for a haircut. They are very friendly and take their time to make sure your cut is to your liking. They will always greet you with a smile. It's also one of the only places you can go in town without needing an appointment.

This mother-daughter barber shop is a gem. Although I travel often to Boston and New York, I always wait until I am back in Stowe to get my hair cut here. They are careful, attentive and friendly, and the finishing massage is a treat.

Do not go here they can’t cut hair. I asked for a simple haircut short on the sides and long on top and I got a buzz cut. Not happy

Walked in for a cut, older woman told me it would be 15-20 minutes. I said I was working right upstairs and would be back in 15 minutes. She told me she would not hold my spot and would just simply take the next walk in. What a day an age where service is dead and with it manners. I would never return and hope this person learns a thing or two about being amenable to those who seek her service.Maybe she was having a bad day but her demeanor said different. If your into being held hostage for a haircut this is your place.
