Good cuts good price and friendly staff
Always a 5 star haircut!
Best barber shop in the state.
Found them on Google which sent me to their Facebook page. Noted they were open into the evening (7PM) and I could "message" the business. I asked if they took walk-ins and within 30 seconds I had an answer - YES - and an appointment for 30 minutes later! I met Todd and got a great haircut which took about 15 minutes start to end and was $15. Very pleased with the service, price, and ease of getting in. Thanks!
Terrific team who are happy to add a personal touch to shape your look. Book ahead for best results because this place is popular! Appointments are very promptly taken care of and they want you to look your best.
I have been going here for 2-3 years and love Myles court, the staff is great, always very welcoming and kind. I have never had issues with any employees or my cuts. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
The barber shop I've been waiting for.
I love Myles Court! Thank you, Todd, for the skillful barbering. I’ve been trying to find a decent barber in Burlington for years, to no avail. At least three shops there won’t cut women’s hair, bizarrely. And I’ve heard that one of them (which recently and deservedly closed) even refused a trans man. Why? If you keep your hair short, you need a barber, not a stylist. I have had so many disastrous (and expensive) salon cuts in Burlington, I can’t even tell you. In recent years I’ve resorted to getting my hair cut when I travel, to civilized places where barbershops don’t flinch at women customers. But now I’ve found one right here in Vermont. You can tell the second a barber touches your head whether they know what they’re doing or not—and Todd definitely knows.
As with popularity, places become busy and some things change. These guys have made a very nice easy to use online scheduler that allows me to choose a time that works for me, every time. Additionally, on the scheduler, you can choose exactly what you want for a hair cut, style or shave...so when you walk in, they know what you are there for and how to do it. Nicole is my favorite. I always allow her to be the artist, even though I get a skin fade each time. she also asks about my family, my cats and work and if I like my hair...but, she is the artist and I allow her to judge if she would approve of me walking outside with her style on my head. These guys are all professional, they are fun, entertaining and the vibe suites those who fancy a New York city cut, with a cool country feel. Paul and Sean are very active in the community, they have excellent hobbies and are generally just good people. Thank you for being in Montpelier, thank you for cutting my hair and than you for always doing it right. Nice work to you all. (Customer for 2 years)
Fantastic staff and fair prices.
Very nice building, clean and easy to find. Parking could be a little bit better but other wise it's a great place.
Nice guys
Went in the for first time after getting a rec from a friend. I wasn’t sure what I wanted and simply said “make it look good.” That was all I had to say and they did a fantastic job! I’ve been back every month ever since. Great atmosphere, and great, easy to talk to people. I highly recommend this shop!!
Great location in Montpelier, did a wonderful job on my first haircut there. Convenient online scheduling. Friendly, hard-working staff. Very reasonable price, too.
Me and my brother were lucky enough to find a couple pro barbers who knew how to give a fresh fade, they have high quality cuts for low costs so paying double the amount was a no Brainer..
Nichole is amazing, I'm shocked she hasn't filled her schedule every single day. She's a rare find for good cuts.
Great service and a great hair cut at a reasonable price! Can't get any better
They definitely don't favor walk-ins. With that said, I got there only minutes after they opened and didn't leave until two and a half hours later. Apparently, there were a lot of appointments that morning. I'm not really complaining about that, I know I could have made an appointment. I wanted to see what it would be like to walk-in and how they would handle me since it was my first time. There must have been around 25 guys that went before I did even though I was like the 3rd person to get there that morning. So, take their walk-in policy very lightly and consider making an appointment. I just moved into the area from out of state a couple months ago and needed a new barber that can handle my head-hair and beard. I can say up front, that you don't get a "traditional barbershop" experience. I showed the barber pictures (of me) of how my usual barber did my cuts and explained their process and asked for those same services. The person I had didn't brush my beard or add water to check if it was even and so I was left with the right side of my beard longer than the left. He also didn't use a razor to bring down my cheeks and only used the clippers. None of the guys that went before I did had a beard longer than 1in, so I'm guessing they might not have much experience handling beards like mine that are longer than 4in? I didn't notice it at the time, but the back corner of my head had a silver-dollar sized patch of hair that was noticeably longer than the rest. I really couldn't tell until I had showered and the hairs rested naturally that there was something off about my head-hair and beard. Pros: reasonably priced, nice people Cons: Make an appointment, young barbers, non-traditional
Fantastic barber shop; I'll be a new regular
Exceptional service and an eye for detail. I happily travel an hour each way every month to have Paul cut my hair and trim my beard.
Todd is the man. This place rocks.
My husband gets his hair cut here - the service is awesome, super affordable and it's a really fun place to be. Would highly recommend!
A warm and welcoming place. As a queer person I felt safe and seen, not all barbershops hold space for gender variant people, so I greatly appreciate that environment at Myles Court. Best hair cut I've had in years. Very charming style to the place as well, thoughtfully designed and easy to relax in. Thank you!
I have been to virtually every barbershop in the Burlington area and beyond, and I was never satisfied until I discovered Myles Court. Not only do they provide outstanding service, but they have also cultivated a fun, welcoming atmosphere and their prices can't be beat. Todd has cut my hair several times now; he does an amazing job and I always leave feeling great. As long as I live in Vermont, I will get my hair cut at Myles Court.
Good hair cuts reasonable prices a day great people. Just what a barbershop should be.
Great barbershop! Without a doubt the best in central Vermont!
I did not attend this barbershop as a patron, but as someone who was accompanying the person getting their hair cut. I have been here twice before and have always been politely surprised with the kind demeanor and elevated level of enthusiasm and professionalism that I've seen from the staff. The facility has a nice aesthetic going with the very traditional-style barbershop and it is always kept clean. There is no unpleasant smell that sometimes accompanies sitting in a hair-cutting facility which made sitting waiting for someone much easier. Their check in process was nice as it could have been done over the phone, online, or as a walk in and each appointment was well-documented and well-taken-care-of.
Great prices, atmosphere and service. You can’t go wrong!!
Awesome crew and very friendly and easy to talk to! Great way for a quick walk in!
They're really good at what they do !
Great guys, great cuts! Todd is the best
No one else will ever cut my hair or beard!!!! Drop in or make an appointment they will hook you up!!
Great atmosphere, conversation, and haircut. The dude was a pro and the price was great. I wish I had a place this good in my hometown.
This is a good barbershop. Their service was friendly, affordable, and my cut came out great. As a black resident in VT it's hard finding places that can cut your hair. Myles Court did a great job and I recommend it for anyone living in central Vermont.
Great guys and great little shop. It can get VERY busy in the afternoons with a mix of appointments and walk-ins. UPDATE: Still my favorite shop however I had to stop going because 1) making appointments fir a set time with a particular barber is pointless due thier first-in-chair policy and 2) they've raised their rates causing my cut to go from 15 to 25.
Friendly and a great haircut. Will be back!
My partner hates getting his hair cut for some reason and he likes getting his hair cut here. The hair cuts are great and reasonably priced. Locally owned!
These guys are awesome!!!! I go to them all the time. Sometimes it's hard cause I have been working crazy hours but I still make time! Great atmosphere and guys are always friendly!!! 5 Stars!!!
Great haircuts, but they don't seem to care about customer loyalty. They prioritize walk-ins, so apparently it's useless to make an appointment.
Great haircuts at really great prices
Good ownership, nicely decorated, small waiting room.
Very good
Where's paul????
Great team of barbers, very friendly and professional. It is often very busy so book in advance, but they can usually take a walk in id you need.
Great atmosphere, great prices for a fantastic cut. Next time I'm getting the works!
Wish the barber had listened closer to what I was saying than the conversation he was having with his co-workers. Had to state the side length twice because I guess he didn't think it should be as short as I was asking; still would have liked it tighter but not going to have him clipper a third time. Asks how much I want off the top "not very much at all" we're my words. Proceeded to take it down pretty much as far as possible then asks is that long enough? No it's not but you can't put my hair back on my head so whatever. This is why I get a haircut like every 6 months and always at a different place; can't find someone in this state that is good and actually wants to listen to what you want. Could have been great; could have been my go to monthly if only dude could have abstained from that painfully forced conversation and paid attention to his job...
Excellent establishment, very professional. Would highly recommend. This place fills the lack of high end barbers in the washington county perfectly, and at a very affordable price. I'll be returning for sure.
It’s really good service and hair cuts, like really, I go there all the time, it is the only barber shop I go too becuase it’s amazing great stuff.
Does what it says on the tin, good people
Great barbers, great price! And free candy!
Great babershop! Nic cuts the best hair, my son's included (age 4). So kids aren't out of the question. The other guys are freindly and know what they are doing for not having been in the shop for long! Make an appointment, due to the busy season, but they take walk ins.... Excellent shop!
A real barber shop. Beard and mustache trims, hot shaves, razor finish, classic cuts, modern cuts, you name it. Reasonably priced starting at $15. You can book online, call ahead, or walk in. It's the best option around.
Classic barbershop, they do it right here.
Great OldSchool Barbershop. Even has the old fashioned chairs and the aftercut powder that smells like the old days. I have some alopecia that leaves me with oddly placed bald spots. She has done an amazing job cutting my hair to hide them. I'm pretty sure that actually helped me get me new job that I love... nobody wants to hire you if you look like a Circus Freak, including most Circuses! I've seen them do all kinds of cuts; fades, hard part, even a flat top. Kids seem to like the place too. Myles Court is my Barbershop.
Very good staff.
Awesome barber shop!
Clearly well regarded by the community, excellent work, despite being solidly packed. I look for barbers who listen to you and will give sound recommendations. Top quality.
My husband came out of here really not liking his cut and embarrassed for me to see him - the barber did not understand his facial structure and it looked like a trendy cut on the wrong person. It did not suit him at all. We ended up going to the Barber Todd and he fixed it up - it is too short now but looks worlds better.
Todd gives a great haircut while sharing his extensive beer knowlege!
this is Sonny I am 11 and all my friends will be jealous of my INSANE crisp lightning bolt hair dew tomorrow because Todd at Myles Court is AWESOME AWESOME
A great barbershop with excellent cuts, rates, and location. Definitely the best barbershop I've been to in Montpelier and central Vermont. I got a nice haircut from Paul and would definitely recommend it to anyone else.
Good cheap haircuts
I had a great experience here. Todd did an excellent job with my head and face shave, and his attention to detail was quite impressive.
Fantastic experience and cut for my son and having been to great barbers in NYC, Boston, San Francisco and Albuquerque I was impressed with the quality of the cut and the professional climate of the shop
