Jae and Joe are very Talented Barbers that truly have mastered the Art of Barbering. They can do any style of a haircut and take their time on each client. Jae has been cutting my hair for over 5 years now. If you want a professional haircut for a great price you have to go to J's barber shop. I go once a week sometimes twice because once you get a haircut from J's you will never change barbers or hairstylists and will become addicted to the fresh cut. I love the fact that they practice the old school barbering techniques with the straight razor cuts. If you havent been to J's you dont know what you are missing. I would recommend them to everyone.

I am not one to leave reviews however, i had to go ahead and leave one. Haircut was not what i wanted i showed the barber a few photos and he still did not grasp the concept and to make things worse the conversations between barbers was VULGAR and INAPPROPRIATE and music was loud gangster rap! Worst expierience EVER!

J takes pride and has so much passion with his work. He is sure that each client is satisfied and gets it done right everytime. I have people tell me all the time to come with them to one place or another to try their barber out... Sorry peeps, there hasnt been another individual in several years that I have felt as comfortable with or trust In cutting or come close to lining me up properly and with such efficiency. I would recommend even dare that everyone person including you ladies let these boys at J's have a shot at making you have a whole new look with a fresh cut. I can say you will never be dissatisfied. I've turned a few of my friends, as well as people in public by just the fresh cut I have everyone everytime compliments how amazing and perfect it looks. I'm constantly asked, "Where'd you get your fresh cut and sick line-up at" I tell em evrytime.. "J's Barbershop. Ya gotta go check em out, they'll get you lookin' this good too!". As far as quality of hair cut its unmatched. I always walk away happy with how I look. I have struggled however with the topic of conversation at times between the staff and between the staff and some patrons. This isn't a kid friendly environment. I have heard curse words, talk about partying during the weekend, intimate relationships ect... The hair cut is for everyone the environment isn't.

JS BARBERSHOP hands down the best shop! I come out with compliments on my plate all the time. That's how I know that I return every 2 weeks where it's deserved. They don't have awards and returning customers for no reason. Go here, if u wait for ur cut, chill, watch tv, play some games if so, sip on ur good drink and enjoy the atmosphere. I waited there for a long time just for one of the guys to mess up my haircut I specifically showed him a picture of how I wanted it, told him not to cut too much off the top and the first thing he did was cut too much off the top if he can’t do the haircut than might as well should of told me he didn’t know how to do a simple haircut.

At first it was cool,has a good upbeat yet inner city ghetto vibe. Didnt get the barbers name he was on the phone half of the time but I believe he had a goatee. I think and was the only black barber (for description). He was in such a rush I heard him on the phone saying "yeah gimme a sec ill be out by my truck" when there was still plenty to do to my hair. Gave him a picture,not even close to what I asked for, still tipped and he basically walked out the door with me cause he was in such a rush to go do something. The back of my head is atleast 2 inches longer then my front, was 20$! Plus tip worste haircut ever!

Great experience. I am used to letting my hair grow out and then shaving it all off and starting all over again. They made the barbershop experience great. This was my first time coming here and I didn’t leave with a haircut. I waited for over an hour when I was told it would be about a 45 minute wait. Upon first coming in, I didn’t know if I needed to get on a list or write my name down. I could barely hear the barber over the music that was blasting as he was talking to me while cutting another customer’s hair. No one ever said thank you for being patient or waiting or when my turn would be. If I had someone waiting for that long. I would definitely notice. Just really did not feel like a customer, basically a ghost. I’ll take my business elsewhere. I’m sure they cut hair fantastically, but maybe encourage barbers to communicate with their customers.

I have taken my 2 older boys there for 3 years if not longer and now I have taken my youngest there since he has gotten hair cuts. I drive an hour and a half for these hair cuts and I am never unsatisfied. My kids love going there. Ya, there is a wait. But it is worth it. I haven’t been to another shop that can cut my kids hair the way they do. I believe that every single one of the barbers have cut their hair at least once and they all do amazing. I will recommend this shop to anyone!

The haircut I got from here was ok. The atmosphere was just really uncomfortable. They'd open blasting vulgar music. And as you're getting the haircut they'd keep talking to the other employees with vulgar language. My barber wasn't the best. We told him that I wanted a fade and the guy started making me bald. If I didn't catch him making me bald I could've been bald right now. I just hope that gets improved.

If you go to great clips or any other chain barber shop they will have you in and out under 15 minutes; these guys take almost an hour. The reason it takes them so long? Not because they dont know what theyre doing, just the opposite. If you are getting your haircut in 10-15 minutes (like i was) they are either the most efficient barber in the world or your getting a bad haircut. Attention to detail, pride in their work, and experience sets this place apart.

I would give it zero stars if possible! My dad came to this place and his hair looks awful! My dad has the most basic haircut, and yet they managed to ruin a simple cut! The only comforting thing about this is that his hair will grow back!

Unless you get one of the 2 good barbers there, you're screwed. Hours online are way off from their actual hours. Always booked for appointments. They told me to come back in 2 hrs so I didnt have to wait, still had to wait almost 2 hrs when I returned. The last haircut I got there was the worst haircut I have ever received and the barber didn't even use a straight razor. Haircut still cost $18, which is high. I still tipped him but I will never go back there again. I'm not wearing any hats either so everyone who asks me about this terrible haircut can find out where not to go.
