What can i say? These people have 0 customer service skills. Would it kill to greet a customer who is coming to your place of buisness? They also dont acknowledg you unless your a regular. I was literally waiting for more then an hour an these guys just kept letting people cut in front of me. Im like you know what enoigh is enough so i got up and left. These guys are a damn joke. I wouldnt recommend them.

I just moved to Salt Lake City and found Sharks Barbershop online. I was hesitant because some reviews said customer service was terrible but I did not have that experience. Idk what people expect. I mean Oscar was cool and made me feel comfortable. He put on some good music (good vibes) and got to work. He asked me "so how do you want your hair? " I showed him a picture and he gave me exactly what I showed him! Place was clean and well kept. Happy I found my new barber in my new city.

Second time my husband and I walk in there to pure silence. There were 3 guys and 2 were on their phones doing nothing. Next time at least have the decency to say something! They had us wait so we started asking around if someone was free. HORRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE! Apparently everyone had appointments today. Still no excuse to the way '' they greet you'' when you go in. Nowhere in that place says BY APPOINTMENT ONLY! This should be specified or just simply don't accept walk ins at all. Definitely do not recommend this place at all. The ppl in charge are not professionals at all. Extremely disappointed. Will not be going back again.

My nephew called to make two hair cut appointments, so they made it for Sat 27th @ 4pm. So when we got there we informed them we had appointments they turned around and said they had NO appointments at 4pm. And that we would have to be put dwn as walk-in's and next time we have to make our appointment on line. If they would have informed my nephew that he needed to go on line to make the appointment then we would have. They should communicate with there customers that's what makes a good business. So now its the waiting game...

Absolutely best place to get a haircut. Affordable prices, great staff, awesome atmosphere. Whether you need a fade for yourself or for your kid(s) Oscar and the guys will hook it up! Sharks also has an option to set up online appointments which helps avoid long waits. I definitely recommend this place.

Horrible Customer Service, they are not kid friendly. They take an hour to cut a childs hair, meanwhile they get distracted and talk to friends instead of getting straight to cutting. They don't handle kids with care and make them cry. They also smoke weed Yes I said it they smoke weed while there is children inside their building. PS, don't leave them a bad HONEST review on facebook or they will no long want to cut your hair. PS: I left a review from my experiance It was MY review not my husbands but they got mad about my HONEST review and refused to cut his hair because of MY review. So No I have not gone back and wont go back again.

Told my husband there wasn't a wait and no need to make an appointment. We get there and it's PACKED. okay so we'll wait. Six people came in after us. I heard them ask every single person if they had an appointment and only one did. So that means they helped five people before us. I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt that it wasn't because we were the only white people there but... Who's to say. In any case we felt belittled and ignored. Not cool. Guess we'll be checking out Jeds in the near future.

I came here to get cleaned up for my wedding and got the best haircut I've ever had and the best/closest shave I've ever had. It was my first time with a straight razor shave and these guys are professionals. Highly recommended for anyone wanting the best barber shop in Salt Lake City.

Can't say that this place is awesome since Chucky DV (Madrianna) left. The location isn't great. Parking is awkward and the atmosphere seems to favor a different clientele than this reviewer. Almost seems as if barbering is a hobby here. Footnote: Chucky is now at Entre Hair and Nails.

First off i want to say , I was hesitant taking my son to a barbershop alone as a mom . However , they really made me feel comfortable being in a male dominant atmosphere! They were extremely helpful picking out a stylish cut for my son and educated me on the names and how to style my sons hair . Made me feel comfortable and my son shows off his haircut everywhere ! Definitely recommend this place , awesome staff and patient as I know my son isn’t the easiest to groom ! Thank you guys !!!

Had another phenomenal experience at ATR! They definitely stand behind their name, they truly are Above The Rest. My 2 year old son and I leave each time with amazingly detailed cuts. Every bad review you see below is because the person either doesn't have the patience or respect for a great barber shop. I talked with Oscar and he explained to me how easy it is to download an app and schedule a cut with whoever you'd like before coming in. It worked out seamlessly. If you take time to get to know the owner or staff they are all great people! It's funny to me how offended people get by waiting too long or getting a straight edge cut, they clearly have never had an actual top notch cut. I have never seen someone take the time treating each cut as a masterpiece like they do here. Listen, if you want something quick and painless go to great clips or any other shop that will have you in and out with zero skillset. Now, if you want a cut that'll look fresh for weeks and you get complimented everywhere you go check this place out! They are arguably the best in the Salt Lake valley.

The haircut itself was ok but this has to be the first time I've gone home in pain from the barber shop. I appreciate that they're trying to be premium with the straight razor but with all the cuts and irritation I'm experiencing now (every time I shower my neck is on fire again) I would just as soon skip it.

Best fade I could find in Utah and I've been looking for a while. Danny Barber does a great job. The guys are really funny and really nice. They take app.'s and walkins but I've found its better to call in on the weekends. They are pretty full on the weekends. You can Also use their "schedulista" website to either make an app or to just look at all of the barbers schedules. Pretty dope. SHARKS FOR LIFE!

They leave you waiting with out telling you if that day they are only accepting appointments only and not walk ins, on top of it they stare at you dirty like if they are doing you a favor. On top of it they have the tv blaring where you can't even hear. No matter how great they do my sons hair I'm never coming back.

I would like to start off my review by saying, that Cesar absolutely killed my cut. He really took his time to make sure that my cut was to perfection. Also had some great conversations with the guy. Very clean business, very very outstanding in their craftsmanship . I have been to many barbershops around here and while I have nothing bad to say about them I also didn’t have anything very outstanding. Which is why I will be recommending all of my friends and family to this barbershop . Cesar really knew what he was doing and spent about and hour plus giving me a haircut and beard cut. I think it’s more like art outstanding job man I will be back 100% if I could give the guy ten stars I would!
