Good people, good haircut, and a UTD student discount.. what's not to love?
For any guy looking for a normal cut at a great price, this is the place!
They didn’t use scissors on my long hair on top?! Not sure if they only know how to use clippers or what...
Fantastic barbershop that i frequented when I was in college (fun fact: present your student ID and get a discount) and revisited to see if it was still good. It was actually better. The barber listened to my vague description of my intended haircut, and he pulled it off better than i had envisioned. All within 5 minutes, no less. The service was quick and professional, and i highly recommend thus to anybody who needs a haircut!
Absolutely pathetic. Walked in, and the barber was a true bastard. I have curly hair, and it's gotten pretty long. When it gets this long, you cannot comb it unless its wet. The barber painfully dragged the comb though my hair, and pulled out my hairs. I asked him if he could pray some water in my hair, to make the combing go smoother, to which he replied "Adults comb their hair before they leave the house". What an idiot! My hair naturally looks like this. Crap customer service. Can't rate the haircuts bc the barber was so disrespectful, I left.
Went in for a quick cut, good traditional barbershop, Keith did a great job.
Very good haircut. The vacuum keeps you clean...and he is very friendly.
Great haircuts and friendly service
This is a for-real barbershop, nor some unisex corporate hairdresser place. This is an old fashioned barbershop, a masculine place, good place to talk sports and politics. I'm glad I can take my grandson there. Lots of father, son, grandson business; I've seen 3 generations get a haircut. Mom's can bring their sons and Rick always has a piece of candy for any kids who drop by, whether they get a haircut or not. One of the best things is that Rick, the owner, invented a system to vacuum the hair as it's cut. It doesn't go down your neck! You can go for a haircut in the middle of the day and not have to deal with the itching. The cost is just fine; $20 covers a good haircut and a tip. (Yes, you are supposed to tip your barber.) Rick and Keith are both really good barbers; I'd say try both of them out and decide who you like best.
Incredibly fast, very nice haircut, and was done in a flash. And that was with two haircuts being performed, only one man cutting, and two people in front of me. Their vacuum system is quite nice as well, and my room mate and I played chess on their chessboard while we waited. Was very nice.
That gay was soo mean to me . I came in this morning . He never show me my hair he just walk off . And he just charge me . He didn't give me a receipt
We have a vacuum system so you leave with minimal hair on you with fast speedy haircuts
Got a pretty rough cut at SuperCuts, went to Pavillion Barbers to get it cleaned up. He helped me out with no charge - and cleaned it up in a short amount of time during my lunch hour. Will absolutely be coming back here for my future haircuts, great customer service.
Nice clean cut and good service
Please dont go here. Im not very sure of all the Barbers but the one who did mine certainly did not have any idea what he was doing. He made my hair a complete mess.
These guys give amazing haircuts at a lower price than what you'd pay elsewhere for the same quality. Clean, consistent, and no frills.
Walked in and was IMMEDIATELY refused because I'm female. I do not have a complicated haircut just a very simple straightforward buzz. Be aware women are NOT welcome.
These guys do a consistently great job.
Good value.
Great baber shop, old school, fast friendly service. Good price
I'm a UTD student who has been getting his hair cut at Pavillion Barbers for the past year. I have nothing but great things to say. I always leave with a great haircut that only takes 10 minutes, all for a great price. I would highly recommend giving Pavillion Barbers a try!
Terrible people run this place. They refused service to a woman who had a man's cut, saying they "don't do women's hair". Short hair is gender neutral! Should be shut down for their small minds.
Rick gives great haircuts and his RickVac will leave you with no hairs all over you afterwards!
Great job every single time I come in for my routine cut. Kieth does excellent work and is a great cheerful guy. Rick with his great invention of the RickVac, lets you come in during work and leave clean without no hairs all over your clothes. The only thing you leave with is an excellent hair cut.
Not a real barber. They don't do shaves. State of Texas license for a barber is shaving which means the people cutting here have only beautician license not a barber license.
Very good haircut, Im now a regular.
Very friendly place for a quick and cheap hair cut.
I don't get why if a woman has a men's haircut they can't cut my hair... They don't cut women's hair. Ok I'll just take my money elsewhere
I can get in and out usually without much of a wait and I don't have hair all over my clothes when they finish because they use a vacuum system with the clippers. The price is right too.
It's okay for trimming and shaving. Don't expect a good , stylish haircut.
Was pretty nice service, a nice all American shop. Do recommend to other Asians with straight hair.
My daughter who is a lesbian went in there today to get a haircut and the man that works their was extremely rude to her and told her they don't cut women's hair, and when she started questioning him about why they don't he threatened by telling her it was in her best interest to leave. So these people were discriminating against her because she is a lesbian. I tried calling the shop to speak to the owner or manager about the issue and he hung up on me and blocked my number. I will be filing a report with local law enforcement and they will be hearing from my lawyer. This could have been handled a different way if he would have taken my call. Don't go here if you are a lesbian because they will be rude to you and kick you out of their shop. Also I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and a complaint with the Department of Justice for discrimination.
Great barber, great haircut!
Was recommended here by a couple of friends for the speed and quality and I wasn't let down. I'd much rather pay 14 dollars, if you are a UTD student, for the quality and atmosphere of this place than have my hair cut terribly by great clips.
I usually hate getting haircuts, but this is the only place I've been where I have left and felt like I got a great cut.
The RicVac is ingenious!! Check it out asap.
Great place. great people. Chill.
This is the best place there is for a man to get a haircut. This is a true barber. The are quick and do a great job every time. The RickVac is a great invention. You can get a haircut and not get a single piece of hair down your shirt. I will not get my hair cut anywhere else. They are the best!
Quick and easy for a price that everyone loves. I came in for a simple haircut and that is exactly what I got, no tricks and little waiting. Overall a great experience
Experience the Ric Vac while you get a great haircut. No itching after visiting this barber shop. Since going here, I don't don't want to go anywhere else. My barber shop of choice for the past two years.
Old school barber with Modern vacuum system. Really impressed with the vacuum as it didn't leave a single hair behind.
Rick has owned this shop for a long time. I've been going here since I was in college. Fast, precise cuts that will get you in and out in style.
Great barber, it's hard to find a place that does a good flat top. Excellent service
A good shop if you want a quick and simple haircut, but don't expect them to style your hair for you.
Great old school barbershop. They almost always only use clippers but they do a great job.
Consistently great haircut.
Old school greatness with innovative vacuum integrated into the clippers to keep you from shedding cuttings all day.
I'll never get a fade here again. Overcut my top (I had a comb over but looked like a gangster afterward)... Asked for a fade on sides (with .5) and got a chilli bowl hair cut. Worst 20 dollars I've spent on a haircut.
Went in for an afternoon cut because I was frustrated with my previous barber closing too early in the day. I read that the haircuts were $18, it seemed a little pricey for me (as a college student at least,) but I resigned myself to it. I was happy to learn that the shop offers a $14 discounted cut to students at UTD though. In addition, the owner is generally pleasant and likeable, and employs a vacuum system to prevent hair from getting all over you during the cut (something which he is quite proud of.) All around a great experience, they can expect to see me again.
The elderly barber does a good job and gives discount if you are a UTD student. The other guy is the worst male barber ive ever seen in my life. He has 0 skills in cutting hair. He doesnt even edge it after cutting and cut it too low for me. At one point, he was combing the hair while it was at level one!
Called to get details to go there for 1st time wanted to know overall most common busy time frame because i would’ve went on lunch but instead of a semblance of decent customer service, quick snappy I don’t know when where gonna be busy, asked about potential appointment instant we don’t take that and then hang up. Well I understand being busy but to each their own lost several customers I’ll take my business elsewhere. Crappy tone can be interpreted easily
I know someone who was refused service because of her sexual orientation. That is so not okay in 2018...or ever!!!!
My favorite place to get a hair cut in Dallas!
Excellent, quality haircut for a cheap price. $16 if you’re a UTDallas student. Great if you need to get in and get out.
First visit here and it was a breeze. In and out in 10 mins. Went in looking like Don Imus, came out like James Bond!!!
Honest, hardworking, and friendly. Quality haircut for cheap. Men only, why would a barber shop serve women? Why should they have to? What happened to freedom of association?
Walked in no customer was there hair cut was very rushed(less than 10 mins from when I got out of my car till I got back in) and 30$ for a simple one length with just clippers. Spots were missed on my head had to redo when I got home. never again.
My first time here. The barber Keith I think his name was. Really down to earth, has no problem creating the haircut you want, even if you ask for a few tweaks to it. Nice people. Comfortable environment.
Rick the owner is an awesome man and a great person that does an outstanding job. He is from Iowa and is really nice and down to Earth and friendly. He offers a out standing haircut for a decent price. I have been one of his loyal customers for about 3 years now. Sometimes he even has donuts for customers on the weekends. By far he outdoes his competition in his industry. I like the old fashioned small business and character of his barber shop, you do not find that anymore, and Rick once again is just a really cool man! He does have a vacuum device attached to the barber clippers so the hair goes into the device and you never have hair on the floors.
I don't have specific barbershop to go to, but I certainly hate to wait more than 15 mins to get a haircut. When I first came to this place they did my haircut fast and as I wanted. I came three times later and they did the same. It took only less than 15 mins to get a haircut each time I go. Excellent place and affordable price. The ONLY thing I didn't like is the young guy attitude. He is sometimes moody and talks to himself. The old man though is friendly and nice to have a conversation with.
I've never in my life been told by a barber that they don't do women's hair, if you are a barber you should be able to cut anybody's hair men and women, how dare you call yourself a barber when you said "I don't cut women's hair" blew off a customer just like that, well thanks for no haircut!
