Went here today for the first time. Best haircut ever! There was no wait and they spent like an hour talking to me and fixing up my fade. It's cheaper and closer to my house than Avenue, plus it was way less crowded. I'm definitely going to become a regular here. Also if there are any ladies out there looking for a good barber in Austin, these guys will do good by you!

First place I've been in Austin where I really felt like the barber listened to me and did what I wanted. And at only $10, this place is a steal! EDIT: I posted this review years ago, but Google suddenly says it was posted in the last week. I don't believe the $10 price tag is still current.

I have been visiting this barber shop for the past few years with my boys. (ages 5 and 8) Rob always cuts their hair and does an amazing job. This shop services all races and ethnicities. Which is awesome because you don't always find diversity at a barber shop. The kids cuts are $15 and they get to choose a Hot Wheels car from the wall after their hair cut. They love that. The gentlemen are very courteous and midful of the little ears around them. I have sent my nephew and dad here as well. They did not like their haircuts but did love the customer service.

The prices are fair for overall experience -- I've gotten my last 3 or 4 haircuts here and even though I just moved further away I will trek here to continue getting great service!

The guys were there were super chill but they also probably gave me the worst haircut I've ever gotten. They dude that cut my hair asked how I wanted my hair, thought he knew what he was doing and started cutting my hair with my eyes turned away from the mirror so I couldn't correct him. Then at the end he gel'd my hair (without asking me, I never gel my hair), and only at the end asked what I thought of the hair. Not only did I not like the cut, but I couldn't tell how they cut my hair until I went home and removed the gel. And they charge $25 not $20, when you pay with card (but they never tell you until you're paying.)

This is probably the best barber shop I've ever been to. All the guys give great cuts. They listen to what you want but aren't shy about making recommendations once they've heard you out. I don't always take them, but I should because they're usually right. Plus you can't beat their prices. Aside from the cut, this place has a great vibe. There's always good conversation going on, so I never mind hanging out when there's a wait. If you're looking for a great cut and a good experience, check these guys out.

I had been going to LJ Barbershop, but (unfortunately) it sustained damage in the Kim Phung restaurant fire. I work and live close to the Crestview area, so I wanted to find a barbershop I could run to on my lunch break. I'm also an African-American female who wears a short, tapered cut, so I'm always wondering if I'll find a place who will be knowledgeable about my hair type and specific needs. Well, this the place. Raymond took his time with my cut. He really perfected it. The razor edge up and quick massage were nice touches, but the best part is that I live two minutes away! I paid 15.50+ tip for all of that! I'll be back. For sure!

Really a classic men's barber shop like I used to visit 30 years ago. They trim your neck and sideburns with warm shaving cream and a straight razor. You get the neck and shoulder massage when the cut is done. The barbers know how to cut too. It's not just flat tops and crews.

My favorite place to get a cut in Austin. You come in and hang out, talk about what ever matters and get your hair cut nice. Every single one of these guys is a pro at cutting hair. My favorite guy is Reese - the type of guy that memorizes your haircut and makes sure you leave with the cut you asked for. They give a little electric powered massage on the shoulders at the end, too.

I've been bringing my son here for a couple of years now and we love it we always go to Arturo he cuts his hair perfect! I've been reading some reviews here and some don't make any sense . My son gets out of school at 4pm and there has been no problem getting in to get his hair cut and if you can't afford 20 bucks for a hair cut then you may wanna cut your hair on your own. Great people here and Great prices.
