I remember my first haircut as a little boy in the 80's. Those big shiny clippers buzzing, dominoes slamming on old card tables, Frankie Beverly & Maze on the radio, the smell of BBQ on the grill outside, men talking about everything from sports to politics... It didn't take long for me to realize that the barbershop was more than just a place to get a haircut. Kutinfed brings back that old school barbershop feeling, but with a modern style & professionalism. The online scheduling lets me see exactly what D has open, so I don't have to wait around 2 hrs to get a haircut, or worry about looking bad around the holidays because I didn't know my barber was going out of town. These aren't just guys who cut hair to pay the bills. They are true barbers who constantly work to perfect their craft. I'm glad that 30 yrs later, I can share that same kind of experience with my 3yr old son (and my daughter) in a safe, clean environment. If you're looking for that silver lining, Kutinfed got you. You won't get a better haircut or have a better conversation anywhere in the DFW area.

Black is awesome. I've struggled with finding a barber that does a woman's haircut well. I have thinning around my hairline and he has been great with fading my hair and making it less noticeable. Customer service is horrible!! Their was a opening for a 9:00am slot on Saturday that I took and when I get there I was informed that the slot wasn't supposed to be taken...... Well why was it open???? Even so I didn't get a call, a text, nothing to say hey I made a mistake. Woke up showed up thinking I was gonna get a haircut instead didn't get a haircut nor an apology just turned around saying come back later. I've been getting different styles of haircut and beard trims, and pay very close attention to the details and quality of the haircuts I receive. I am 100% satisfied to date. While all of the barbers here seem to be on top of their game, and you can't go wrong, I personally have been seeing Black. He will not let you down. And if you're always in a hurry like me, don't worry, he will get you in and out of there as long as you make an appointment. Some barbershops don't take their appointments schedule seriously. I went to Kutinfed (Cut-in-fed) last Friday and had my hear cut low, low, low after wearing locs for 19 years. I searched high and low for the best barber in town, combing the net and pictures for three weeks straight. Each time, Kutinfed came up with the best reviews. So I decided to check them out, so I went to their website and made an appointment. There wasn’t a bunch of people waiting to get their haircut, and Black --- my new barber --- was right on time with a terrific smile and personality to match. He looked at the picture of what I wanted and went right to work shearing off my locs. I was so nervous about how I would look after, but he joked and talked taking my mind off my nervousness. Long story short, I am so pleased with my haircut. I look in the mirror and feel my head about 100 times a day, lol. I told Black that I wanted to look feminine and sophisticated and that’s just what he did. I receive compliments, from different ethnicities, every single time I’ve been out! Thank you Black.

Been taking my son here for 2-3 yrs. I lost track. But thankful for their service, especially being able to set appointments. My son goes to Black top notch all the way, never had any complaints about his haircuts!!!! Only thing you have to book way in advance maybe a month if you want weekends or evening appointments. But it's all online so that's 24/7 access to making an appointment. Everyone is nice, cordial and respectful!

1st let me start off by saying "this is a great barbershop." I received a cut from Bryan and it was on point. I love the atmosphere and the multiculturalism of the clientele. All of the staff are relateable. This place has the professionalism and brand that suits all walks of life, all genders, and all ages. I'll definitely be coming back. Btw I noticed they acquired a female barber in there for those of you who like a feminine touch. I watched her and she does excellent work too. Maybe next time I'll book with her. Very friendly, professional and overall great experience. I wanted to get my hair cut off and researched barbers that were proficient in cutting female hair. While searching I came across Kutinfed. The reviews were great and the one name that kept popping up was Elan. People raved about her skills and I was really impressed. I made my appointment and she didn't disappoint. First off I was nervous and wasn't sure what hairstyle would best fit my face. I showed Elan a few styles and told her how I eventually wanted my hair to look. I also stressed that I wanted to look feminine and wanted something to fit my face. She took the reigns and I love my hair. I won't lie, initially I was shocked because I haven't had it this short in years! But after the shock fell off I was very pleased with the end result. The shop was clean, the guys were friendly, and I didn't feel uncomfortable. I'll be back for sure!!!!

Love the barbers and the shop ive been getting my haircut with Black since '07 he's a very detail oriented barber.... I Love & Hate the appointment system Love it because i can book online and my appt always starts on time...Hate it when I can't get an appointment ughh because they book soo fast lol.. Everyone here is Soo warm and friendly... Made the mistake of going to another shop because I couldn't get an appointment big mistake... The barbers were cold barely spoke to you... It just wasn't the same i came right back to Kutinfed!!! I just book my appointments way ahead of time instead of waiting til the last min honestly the appointment system is awesome!!!!....

The ONLY place my husband and boys go to get cut. And now that I've done the big chop, I'll add myself to that list as well. Very professional and friendly staff, and the shop is very nice and clean. Just make sure to make an appointment as they are not a walk-in shop. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

Beware: Not consistent at all. This is my third time coming here. My first two experiences were pretry good and I enjoyed that they were appointment only even though they were running thirty minutes behind on my second trip. However, my last visit with Damon ensures it will be my last. As I sit here looking for another barbershop to fix my lining, I've come to the realization that this has to be the worst edge up I ever received. I've had better luck in dorm rooms back on my college days. I sat down, and he was done in less than 15 minutes. No showing me with a mirror at the end to ask if I liked it and then tried to charge me 30 dollars because he had to clean up the edges of my hair. In all my years in Milwaukee and Chicago, cleaning up edges to make sure the hair is even is part of a lining! And I've never been charged more than 20 before tip (online price says 15). I read a previous reviews that Damon tries to upcharge after doing a terrible job. I thought maybe it was a fluke.... Nope. This is why you listen to reviews. I'm never going back, but if you go, avoid Damon.
