I reside in Temple Texas but I don’t mind the drive to get my 2 boys hair cuts or the wait we have waited several times just for a cut at a bless cuts.
But our experience today left us not wanting to return.
We loved bless cuts because it’s clean , christian music and everyone seems pretty much friendly.
Today we waited a hour and a half but that’s no big deal.
My oldest has mixed children hair he likes to get is tapered and maybe a little off the top. It’s the instyle look and he loves the attention he gets with friends and teachers messing w his hair :)
Well today we went in for his usual style , he sat down told the barber what he wanted and everything seemed well, next thing I know the barber says cut it? I replied yes just a little. ( assuming it was just a little off the top) . But I was completely wrong ! My son left with his hair about 4-5 inches shorter, and complete opposite of what he wanted .
The worst part is we don’t speak Spanish but I can tell by other guest faces things were being said as well as another barber saying a little in Spanish and laugh. ( that definitely didn’t make my son feel great nor myself .)
My child is super shy so looking as if he wanted to cry while he finished still held a smile for the barber whom was cutting his hair.
At the end the man said how do you like it , I replied short , he said “well I told him his mom can now see his face and how it was crazy and just everywhere.”
Let me remind you this is a child that didn’t even want to go in for a hair cut today and i made him!
We had plans today after the hair cut that he was super excited about, but after we left he suddenly didn’t feel good and wanted to go home and lay down.
Sometimes certain things make people feel wonderful about them selfs, and this so happen to be his hair that is now gone. Granite we understand hair grows back but it sucks to pay for something you’re unhappy with.
Instead of taking the drive to Killeen for hair cuts we will just find a local location that listen to what someone wants instead of taking their own thoughts into action.
