If you're looking for an African-American or Latino barbershop this is the spot. I was in town from Austin, Texas for a wedding and was looking for a place to get a haircut. Usually, you'd need an appointment in most Black/Latino barbershops, but there was none needed here. There was a single barber, but I watched him cut four people's hair in an hour. The guy is amazingly fast. I walked in at 12:30pm on a Saturday with no appointment and four people ahead of me and was done with my haircut at 1:45. On top of that it was also the best cut I've ever gotten. There's no ATM in the barbershop, but there is a convenient store named Charlie's roughly 150 yards away where you can get cash. Complete head shave and beard/mustache trim and line up was $18. I'll definitely go back anytime I'm in the area.

This is one of the most professional barbers I've ever gone to. He's expedient but does a great job. I never feel like my time is wasted. He allows you to make appointments. I made him my main barber.

Came from out of town and the owner welcomed me with open arms. He started chatting w me even when I wasn't in the chair. We had great discussions about Charleston and its history. He's born and bred here so you know this money is staying local, too. Highly recommend this spot

Jared will hook you up right! Went in yesterday with no appointment and there were 4 other guys in front of me. After about an hour my buddy and I were walking out looking clean as hell, definitely going back. Very laid back atmosphere and professional service.
