There are, of course, LOTS of places where one can get a suitable haircut... So....What makes RUBY'S different than the others? Well...to begin with....it's RUBY herself. She not only has a very welcoming presence that makes one feel right at home immediately, but it is also her intuitively professional personality that makes an appointment with her extraordinary, rather than simply routine. And then there is the amazing ambience that she has created for her shop that goes WAY BEYOND the traditional idea that one comes to expect from such an experience. Even if one has to sit for awhile and wait their turn, there is so much to look at and be entertained (and enchanted) by the details she has provided, that it totally redefines the idea of "going for a haircut". This all might seem somewhat hard to understand from my less-than-adequate explanation, of course......so, you're just going to have to go there for yourself to completely understand what I mean by all of this.....because once you go.....you'll be back again.....and again! HIGHLY RECEOMMENDED!

I have been looking for this kind of "barber shop" for years. Instead of showing up at your local town barber shop and being one of several people waiting for a cut and then be hustled in and out of the chair in 20 minutes, Ruby schedules your cut with loads of time to provide a wonderfully relaxing, spa-like experience. The shop is totally unique which sets the stage for a pleasant, private , relaxing hair cut. I am not one to "pampered" myself but I have to say that this is an experience that I really look forward to every couple of months. When you see a consistent 5 Star review from her clients, you know that this is not just a haircut, it's an experience!
