There are a few things in life that I love knowing are handled for me. I have a great mechanic to fix my car, I know exactly who to call when I need work done around the house, and I have a place to go when I need a haircut. Tornambe's is a friendly neighborhood barber/salon. They are well staffed and reasonably priced. They work on a first-come-first-serve basis, but I never have to wait more than 15 minutes to be seated. I have a few guys I go to regularly, but everyone working there is good. You're not going to walk away with a bad cut whoever cuts your hair. I am fortunate to have Tornambe's in my neighborhood. Many chain salons have an extremely high rate of turnover which makes it impossible to get to know the guy cutting your hair. For me, that relationship makes all the difference.

They won't get my business. First, I had a bad experience calling in to decide if I should schedule at apt or walk-in. Before I was finished asking questions they hung up on me. Based on their advice I walked in to find they were very busy (this was 5 minutes after I called). Nobody greeted me or let me know how long the wait was. Seems like they value their regular customers and focus their attention on them - that's fine, but they missed a chance to earn new business from me.

Best Around. Great haircuts, great service. Very quick. I bring my two boys in - ages 6 and 10 - and the three of us get cuts in about 40 minutes total time. Family operated, friendly, enthusiastic staff, great with my kids. In a pinch when they were closed on a Sunday, I took my two boys to a chain clip joint franchise place and wow... no comparison. Tornambe's gave a MUCH BETTER cut... and I mean incredibly better... were less expensive and far more personable than the local chain. Highly recommend.

Nice staff, they don't rush your haircut. The barber was very precise and you could tell he takes pride in his craft. Price was right too.

Quick, clean, friendly place. Average price, but not a real bonafide barber shop because they don't offer a straight razor clean up. If you're in a hurry, they're efficient.
