I have been getting my haircut here at Chester's for almost four years now. Jenn has done an excellent job each and everytime, and I recommend her to anyone needing a military style haircut. Always impressed and proud of the way my hair looks after a fresh cut.

Mercedes and Alex are the go to gals to cut my hair. I’m from out of state and I’m always up in the pocono’s a few times a month. I don’t let anyone else do the job for several reasons. Personally, cutting hair is not just cutting, it’s an experience for me anyways. The conversations you have, the attention to detail and the smiles all come down to the experience that I look for. The wait is never a few minutes long and I find that there are more hair stylists that have joined the team but I really don’t want to move away from the experience that I’ve been getting. I can’t wait for my hAir to grow back!

Mercedes did an amazing job cutting my husband's hair and trimming his beard! She takes her time, listens and gives exactly what you ask for. Something a lot of places don't do with mens cuts. My husband was very pleased with his cut and will be going back to her everytime!

Chester's has been the only place I would get a haircut my entire life. They offer many new services and upgrades (like a complimentary hot towel finish) but have managed to keep the same, small town feel to the place. Tina, Cindy and the rest of the staff are very friendly and make you feel at home the second you walk through the door.

Jenn gives the best haircuts, especially to boys! I've taken my boys to various people over the years and nobody does as good of a job as she does. She has the skill to keep them still when they are squirmy or nervous, and she has a gift for always making them look their best. I have always been more than satisfied after taking them to her. Great place for a kids cut! Mercedes is a miracle worker! This is the third person we've gone to see for my son's hair & every time prior = Toddler meltdown. it was the first time he ever sat still, behaved, and really felt comfortable with anyone cutting his hair. First time he sat alone and wore the cape. She did an excellent job. We loved the antique barber chairs. He was thrilled to get a lollipop and treasure from the trunk, what a nice touch! We'll definitely be back to see Mercedes the Toddler Whisperer!
