Greatest place to get a haircut in south Bethlehem. Ignore that other response, the girls that cut your hair are all great and know what theyre doing. The owner is a great guy, always going out of his way to get u a drink or water and wants to know how your day went and what your up to. I recommend the hot towel n shampoo that comes w every haircut... *drool*... Is it time for another haircut already? I think so

Pretty disappointed, although the atmosphere was nice and the people were very friendly, my haircut is not very good. I know we talked about it growing out more for the style I would like, but I can do absolutely nothing with the Way it was cut. I also had some pretty deep scratches on my neck from the clippers. A for effort, it just wasn't worth $32.00 , and yes I tipped $10.00 but I Always do. I won't be returning. Update : the shop manager called me and reached out to me, they offered a free haircut with a different stylest. Although I haven't called back, I truly appreciate there customer service.

American Male Bethlehem is a wonderful place to go get your haircut, relax and be pampered. I have had Britney cut my hair for over five years and the service is excellent. It is so good that even though I now live 4 states away, whenever I come back to Bethlehem I always come to get a trim. I highly recommend this place.

When I first entered I was greeted by a young receptionist and Kylie, they asked if I wanted a drink and were very warm and hospitable. The facility is really nice and modern inside and I felt very at home. Kylie did an amazing job on my haircut and I was surprised that I got a wash and condition a long with it (i was just buzzing my hair for years). While she was styling my hair after everything Tom introduced himself; we spoke, and he was extremely friendly and outgoing, just as Kylie was. Overall a great first impression on staff, hospitality and skill. Definitely going back!

Service is amazing. Welcomed I'm with a smile, they will pay your street parking. You are served beer, soda, water. Great stylists, I prefer Stephanie. Hot towel and scalp massage included in cut. Great atmosphere. Price is a little steep but worth it.

It was my first time to American Male today, 7/17/2019. My stylist was Amanda and she took care of my needs in a friendly, professional manner. She did a nice job trimming my hair and cleaning up my neck line. Nice conversation and the staff made me feel welcome. I look forward to coming back. The shop is a nice intimate size and I feel that is better than a shop that is too big for it's own good. The location is perfect as well, right on 3rd street and is accessible from either side of South Bethlehem. The price was reasonable for the level of service, which included some nice extras like a hot towel and facial astringent. Thank you for being kind and doing a great job. God bless.

This establishment is amazing. The owner, the staff, the skills, everything. They take care of you as if you have been a friend for years. And it's nice to have someone cutting your hair who cares about their work. I always leave with exactly the style I was hoping to achieve. The prices are a bit higher than you might expect, but you are getting so much more. Def worth the squeeze.

I was a little unsure about going to a "salon" since I've been going to the same chain hair-cutting place for probably 10 years. My wife got me a gift certificate for a "quality grooming experience" and I enjoyed it quite a bit. From Tom welcoming me and offering me coffee, to Ericka taking her time and giving me a great haircut and beard trim, I enjoyed the experience all the way around. I wasn't sure about the paraffin hand dip, but I found it to be pleasant and relaxing. I will definitely be back again.

I really like coming here! Getting an appointment the day I want is pretty easy. I usually just get the express service when I come, the staff here does great work every time. Before your service, they offer you something to drink and then get started. I usually feel like a brand new man on my way out the door.
