A quality haircut for $7? You can get one here. At times it takes a bit longer then an in and out place, but they are learning (and George and the rest of the staff) are always reviewing and critiquing them. No worries about not getting a good haircut. I sometimes splurge to get a shave as well..shave and a haircut for $13 is a deal anywhere. The only issue is if they are busy is the parking...small lot.

Although your hair is cut only by students, you get a professionally guided haircut for only 7$, which is amazing, never been dissatisfied with my haircut!!! I highly recommend coming here, people there are great and Its a very warm and comfy atmosphere!!!

First time customer there today and couldn't be happier. Great experience, the place is clean, the atmosphere is lively yet professional. My student barber was Vinny and he was great, careful, detail oriented, and personable. The instructor was close by and offered any assistance and teaching needed, extremely courteous, and his guidance was exactly how it should be, to the point, effective, without taking over the cut/service. Certainly will be my go-to place from now on. Well done to all, thank you!

I just recently graduated from American Barber Academy and I have nothing but good things to say! First I’ll start off with I’m not young I was 36 starting and 37 when I finished, I was so scared and nervous to try taking on a new career that I have no skill in and being my age. I quickly came to realize if you put the time and effort with the help from the wonderful instructors who go above and beyond to make the experience of becoming a barber a wonderful and fun one. The atmosphere is very fun and inviting no matter if your 7 or 77, I know as a student I appreciated all the clients coming in from young to old to get the practice and experience for real world situations and it was fun building relationships with a lot of them. If you are thinking of getting a haircut this is a wonderful place to go I never seen anyone leave with a bad cut! I personally let a lot of the students give me a cut and couldn’t be happier so what’s cooler than helping out someone to get where they want to go while you get what you want and for $7 it’s a win win for everyone! If you are thinking of becoming a student American Barber Academy IS THE PLACE to go!!! You will not find better teachers my teacher Bryheem is just a wonderful person all around as well as the rest of the teachers, George the owner is fantastic and does above and beyond to help you on your journey to become a barber and I can’t leave out Mrs. Lacey who is the director but she is so much more being a licensed cosmetologist you will learn way beyond being just the average barber. Oh and I can’t leave out Eida the receptionist and so much more she is the glue holding all the small details together seeing her smiling face and wonderful personality everyday just puts the cherry on top! So all and all wether you need a haircut or you want to give the haircuts Go To AMERICAN BARBER ACADEMY you will not regret it!!!! ~Joshua Weaver

I was a little skeptical about getting a haircut from someone who doesnt have much experience cutting hair. But out of the three times that I've been there, I've been satisfied everytime I walk out. Not only is everyone nice and funny, the haircut is only seven bucks. From what I understand the students go through a class before they actually start cutting people's hair, and even when they start cutting hair, the instructors walk around and make sure they do everything right. I would reccomend this place all day long.

Horrific customer service. I had to wait a total of 30 minuts while the girl at the front desk spoke on the phone. This is not a proffesional place at all. Then when it came down to finally attending me she had a disgusting attitude talking about "What do you want?" Dont get me started on the other girl that works there as well she came to defend her friend as if I was in the wrong when I told them they should act more professionally. Worst experience of my life I didn't even get to get a haircut. I demand answers!! They should be fired immediately.!

I’ve been coming here for years. George and staff do all they can to accommodate you. Was there today and got one of the best cuts ever there. 1 st chair when you walk in, young man who told me he was only there for a week but very skilled. I work with people, clients all day long and most of them come to me because of bad experiences with my staff from my company .I know how hard it is to make people happy, so I can’t say I ever had any major issues here, no complaints. Cuts are not always perfect but the teachers try all they can to explain to the students how to fix any inconsistencies, in the end, I never walked out unhappy. A big ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
