When asked for a fade the female worker didn't do a fade, just shaved all to one length expect the tuft of hair that's probably an inch longer than the rest. My friend wore hats to cover his hair cut because he did not like it.

She executed an amazing fade, which is impressive considering we went from a 2 to a 0, no weird lines! Very precise and quick with the use of a barber's razor; she pays attention to the very fine details of facial hair and neck line hair. She finished the haircut with a moist heat towel scalp massage, after shave, powder brush, and some conditioner to keep my hair shiny! I will be back!

Been getting my hair cut at this place since I was gong to MHCC - even before the new owner this place has always been rad. The new owner > Joe is a "Top Notch" and no fuss person. Get what you want and get out quick! Just you and the stylist; which is nice and gives it a "one of a kind" experience --- like the old days... 8) Don't be fooling around and just go there!!! Early bird usually gets the first cut.. fyi.

Classic, 70s-style, single-chair barber shop run by an friendly older man who has been cutting hair for over 50 years. He'll give you a fast, professional cut, and as a bonus, he has a lot of sound wisdom to share. One thing to remember: He only accepts cash and check. I didn't realize this, and was forced to underpay him, but he was nice enough to let me pay him later without even taking down my name! Great guy. Highly recommended!

First time in yesterday and it instantly felt like I was at home, and for once I was absolutely satisfied with my beard trim and style. The Gentleman whom cut my hair was a consummate professional and even educated me on beard care techniques, and when we chatted it was real and genuine like having a beer and catching up with a dear friend. The owner Jo is a sweetheart who's conversation and laughter fill the air as she chats with a regular while an album made by a customer covering some Elvis hits plays in the background. The name says it all, this place is a throwback to a better simpler time but I hope it doesn't ever vanish!
