Crowded with a long wait time

I gave this establishment 3 chances win my business. Each time I waited over an hour to get a haircut. there were never more than 2 barbers working. I also experienced 3 different barbers. the first was pretty good, the second was excellent, and the third was completely unacceptable. In conclusion, I will be looking for a consistently good haircut where I can get in and out of without wasting my day.

Just got a haircut here today. I’ve heard from friends and people that it’s a good place to get a haircut. Decided to give it a shot not knowing what to expect. The man who cut my hair is blessed. Amazingly skilled. Blew my expectations. I saw him pull up a chair for the lady outside. That’s genuine care for the people. I will come back many times. He has earned another customer. When I need a cut in the future Q’s will be the first spot to pop into my mind.

I've always walked out with a good haircut if, I had the time to wait. Each time I have been in service was slow and a given barber might skip over you and select someone from a similar demographic who might have come in after you. I've given it three tries and now go somewhere else regularly. In short, if you have the time and feel welcome, give it a shot. If not, there are other good options in town.

For those of you saying you had to wait a long time for a hair cut, that’s a true barber shop. They don’t focus on fast hair cuts. If you want that go to your local chain super cuts or something. They focus on extreme quality hair cuts and customer interaction. Q’s corner barbershop is on of only a couple left in the state of Oregon. This is a true Barbershop. He focuses on the community, engagement and making sure the younger generation gets the guidance they need. I have been going to Q’s Barbershop for about two or three years now. There is absolutely nothing negative I have to say. If you went to a real Barbershop when you were a child and want that experience again it is an absolute must that you come here. Q and all of his barbers are amazing and a great quality work.

I called before showing up. Was told they weren't very busy. I asked if it was toddler friendly as I am a single dad. Owner said " yes it's a family environment " when I arrived no acknowledged me, they were all watching YouTube videos . So loud my toddler was uncomfortable. This is not a family place or a place of good service. I saw most of the barbors watching the big tv instead of cutting hair often. Which is probably why there are other complaints about wait time. I called the owner back and explained my experience. He did not apologize just said he let's his guys do what they want because they work long hours. Guess what so do I for my money. If you are a young boy that does not care about time and service but wants a teenage cool environment this place is for you!

People who have been patiently waiting for hours allow people who walk in to go ahead. They have a board for who's next, and might as well not have it if they don't FOLLOW IT!!!! Terrible, should be shut down for not respecting the time of comstumers. I've left 4 times on 1 month because I waited for 4 hours and they just allowed people who walked in to go ahead!!!!

I'm due for another cut soon. I've been seeing Q for about 2 years now, and I always feel dang fine when I leave. I'm sure the other barbers are great, but my hair has confused barbers for decades. Q's the first I've found in a long time that can cut it exactly how I want. He's also a genuinely nice guy with a heart for the community, helping local children in need and helping keep families together, especially throughout the holidays. The new location is also really nice - can't wait to see what it becomes throughout the next year or so. I always give Q a visit before I speak at a school or meet a new client. Never been disappointed.

Super long wait! me and my boyfriend got a haircut and he didn’t do a good job on my bf and especially not on me I told him That the last barber shop that did my hair messed up and I told him that the lady only gave me one layer and not multiple and he did the exact same thing she did but wayyyy worst he obviously didn’t know what he was doing and should have told me I would have gone somewhere else not only that but he charged me a lot ! It was crooked and embarrassing and took him hours legit don’t recommend! it ain’t worth it

Went here at the recommendation of some friends and did not get the haircut I wanted. Also had them line my beard up and the took way too much off. Not worth the price for the sub par haircut.

I work here n I am the only female hairstylist in the Barbershop. It's a great place to go. The Barbers are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING there n as for myself I have 25 yrs experience in the beauty industry. I do pretty much EVERYTHING they don't so that means the WHOLE FAMILY can come to Q's now. Whether you want a extremely awesome fade or a corrective color, braids to roller sets, special occasion up-dos to specialty vivd colors (ombre n balayage), pretty much any kind of color, hi-lite, haircut n styles you may want. Come n see us for your New Year New You. Now we do get busy so might be a wait unless you make an appointment ahead of time but we would love to see you either way. Play a game of pool, watch a movie, enjoy some good music, n hey you can even eat a great lunch @ our cafe that just opened. Happy Holidays n see you all soon. :)

Just moved here from Memphis, TN and was looking for a great barber shop that's upbeat, knows new style, a fade expert, pays attention to detail, loves their clients, and makes them feel welcome as soon as they step into the door.... This is the place!! Q did a PERFECT job on my cut. He got the hard part perfect, educated me on how his techniques have been gained from all across the United States, and performed an even better fade and taper than I've ever had at any barber I've ever had a cut at from Fort Lauderdale, FL to Memphis, TN and all the way to Salem, OR!! I cant give enough praise to Q for his professionalism and expertise at what he does..... This is my first cut in Oregon and I wont look anywhere else. I'm now a customer for life. Make sure you come see Q and his crew if you want ANY cut. They do old school, new school, are an excellent barber shop, and they do women's hair too!! Im telling you, this is THE BEST BARBER SHOP AND HAIR STYLIST YOU WILL FIND. They take walk-ins and set appointments. No same day appointments but you'll be ok. Just go and wait to get set up with your barber / stylist as a walk-in and from then on, you will have a professional you can make an appointment with moving forward. It's worth the wait, drive, and time spent to get into this place. Thanks, Q!!!

As a heads up to future new customers, use the whiteboard on the bench in middle of the room, this is how they manage who goes when. Also they don't answer their phone too often at least when I tried a few times over an hour. Also expect to stand on concrete for a good while if it's busy. Edit: It's been an hour and a half, they take 25 minutes per customer and there are eight more before I'm up next. Nobody tells you about the signing board when coming in, there are no signs or paper saying so either, and they don't have enough employees at the time of the review to handle everyone coming in. They may be good barbers but if you value your time or have a schedule try elsewhere.

Didn’t get the cut I asked for. Guy pretty much did what he wanted. They face you away from the mirror the whole time so you can’t say anything till the end when it’s tome to pay. My barber was to busy talking to the other barbers and sharing his Snapchat story’s to pay attention to what I asked for. I need to go get my hair fixed elsewhere. I guess it would be a cool place if your younger and like to listen to a bunch of guys yelling back and forth across the room. Not the place for the older guys that just want a decent haircut. I won’t be back.

Some of the barbers do a good job at cutting your hair but half of the guys don't do a good job. My man pays around 30$ for a hair cut and half the time they do a sloppy job and his lines are almost never straight or cut properly. I like it here but y'all need to step up your game. You all have a lot of potential!

Met owner of Q's barber shop today at Riverfront Park. It was by chance that my grandchildren and I were there. I was greeted by a young man asking if the kids wanted to meet Santa and get a toy. No cost. Spoke with Q and thanked him for this amazing community project. He said he wants it to be bigger and better next year and will be with the help of all neighbors. I wanted to get the word out there about humble awesome gentleman and will be sure to get involved in his project next year even though I live in Lebanon. Kudos!
