This place is so amazing! I brought my son in from a military base to get his hair cut and it was the best experience! Makenzie did a great job on his haircut and on our second visit we got Makenzie again and she did another fantastic job doing a military fade! My son loves this place and will definitely come back on visits and when he gets out of the military! So professional and clean! Super impressed from the Manager to the stylist! So easy to book online for an appointment!

Number goes straight to a call center..in which they do not have prices because "they are a franchise". They also do not have phones on location so you have to book through this service. Not sure how the quality is...but already looked in another direction for a new place due to the whole "corporate" style "you are a number" type setting...

The gal gave me a good haircut, looked great when I was done. I went in for the $1.00 haircut but gave a $25.00 tip since I realized I would not be back. The only reason I won't be back is because of their prices. $33 - 39 depending on whether you have a monthly membership is a bit too high. I probably get a haircut once every couple of months. I'm a guy so I just need a haircut not all the other stuff they want to sell you. It's more for young people who want a metro-sexual experience. I'm past that time in my life & don't care about status or any of that garbage anymore just a haircut.

I’ve been a member of Elephant in the Room since 2017. October 2018 After my deployment to Afghanistan I came to the OKC location off Western and met Danny and Janet. By far, the most professional environment not only in their character but their work. Janet has cut my hair ever since and I followed her to their new location in Quail Springs. I have gotten multiple Marines I either work with or deployed with to sign up and become members because I truly believed they’d love their fresh haircuts. And they did! Every time I come into the shop, I’m greeted by Danny and the rest of the shop with smiles and a very professional welcome. The Elephant in the Room family has made me feel as though I am family, which is very rare to find from a business. Not only do they make you feel as though you are family, they leave you looking clean and fresh. They track your prior haircuts so they know exactly how you like your hair, they focus, take pride and pay great attention to detail, and also give you a clean wash, hot towel and face massage. This place does it all. And Janet is my barber. She takes care of me and my buddies, and she will continue to be my favorite. Sydney, Mackenzie and Sarah are all great barbers. They ALL do an amazing job! You won’t find anything better in the State of Oklahoma. Thanks guys!!

They make their own styling products - I like that they are pushing the same stuff you’ll find everywhere else. One tip: the scalp oil has a STRONG tingle to it. I really liked it, but it may not be for everyone.

Walked into location a week ago, told me I had to make an appointment. Made and 11am appointment for the following Saturday. Arrived on Saturday at 10:45... and was told that someone in the Call center must have deleted my appointment, and I couldn't be seen because they had an 11:30 appointment................................................................... Like....... WHAT??? Keep in mind there was NO ONE IN THE SHOP GETTING THEIR HAIR CUT.................I've already came in and made an appointment and I was told to try the other location for a walk in............. With them not having another appointment for 45 minutes...... They didn't even try to squeeze me in, or fix their mistake. It was THEIR MISTAKE , and they didn't even bother to try to fix it, try to take care of me, just treated me as if oh well, and my time didn't matter. I'll be going to a pm appointment at the Western Elephant in the room, hope it's nothing like the experience I got from May.

So I went to the Elephant In The Room on a whim after realizing I needed to do something with the mop on my head. My stylist was Sarah, and she immediately welcomed me and sat me in her chair. She opened the dialogue first by asking what exactly I was looking for that day. I showed her a few pictures of the style I liked and a few more questions later, she was going to work. I admit, there was a bit of trepidation, but she kept an interesting conversation and described to me exactly what she was doing and why, and when I told her what I liked least about my hair, she was able to fix it right up. After she finished cutting my hair, I was shown to some sort of essential oil infused hand wax treatment, and let me tell you, it was amazing. So after dipping both of my hands in this wonderful smelling wax and having bags tied around them, Sarah took me to the hair wash and scalp massage lounge. Gentlemen, you need to try this. I had never had a scalp massage before but it was probably one of the most relaxing experiences I've ever had. The shampoo (that I loved so much I took a bottle home) has peppermint oil in it and it feels amazing. I was in a state of pure bliss. So after that we go back to her chair and then she begins to style my newly cut hair. She used products from their own hand-crafted line and explained to me step by step how I can replicate the look and style I want at home, but here is the real kicker: First time visitors only have to pay a dollar for all of that. I was blown away. The only reason I paid more is because I had my beard shaped and aligned and also purchased the gel and putty Sarah used, and a bottle of the shampoo as mentioned before. I will most definitely be returning whenever I need another cut or touch up, and guys, I very highly recommend you go too, and ask about the memberships as well. I will most definitely be signing up for a standard hair cut and beard trim membership, and I hope I get to see Sarah again on my next visit!

If I could give EITR more than 5 stars I would! I started getting my haircuts here about a year ago when I heard of the $1 haircuts and decided to get mine done before my wedding. One year later and I currently have the deluxe membership package and couldn’t possibly think of getting my hair done anywhere else. The memberships are definitely worth it no matter what, so don’t fool yourself like I did my first few times and just “think about it”, just go ahead and get on it! Today was opening day for this location which is closer to my house and McKenzie did an amazing job on my hair. Probably my favorite person to cut my hair so far, I’d definitely recommend scheduling with her if you want the best experience!

Very good service and place to get your haircut. Tia always cuts my hair and does an amazing job at it. Very friendly and "chill" atmosphere as well. One thing I do like the most is that Tia keeps track of how I do my hair cuts. I don't really request crazy hairstyles, but I do always leave satisfied and fresh.
