Hands down the best barber shop around. Set an appointment or just walk in, whatever you need…they have it all. I’m a regular with Austin and always get fixed up right. However, if he is ever unavailable, I’d gladly sit in any of the other guys chairs and know I’ll get a great cut. Always good music and a good time. All around just a great bunch of guys with a down home shop!

Hands down, the best barber shop in WS. I was born and raised here, so I’ve had hair cuts in many different places. These guys are excellent, friendly, fast, and really cool. My teenagers went here first, so I wanted to see what their cuts looked like. Being their age, they are very conscientious about how their hair looks. They plan to keep going back to Washington Park, and so will I.

Just tried this place after going to a chain for a long time. Definitely a noticeable difference, with skilled barbers. And they know how to use a straight razor for a proper shave. It also doesn't hurt that they have beer on tap.

I had my first experience with WPBS on Good Friday. Everyone was great and like most things in life, the good things are worth the wait!! I was a walk-in but the way Chris Williams cut my hair and talked with me, I felt like I had made an appointment with him. I am trying to grow my hair and beard out long. Chris gave me plenty of tips and sold me some excellent products by Uppercut that not only work great but they smell great as well!! The person ahead of me in the chair paid it forward and bought mine. I will have to do so the next time. Thanks so much Chris!! Seriously can't wait until the next time.

Excellent barbershop, somewhat of a hidden gem. All three guys are professional, personable, and offer prompt service. I've been several times now and will most likely continue in the future. Seems like everyone that comes in is a long-time customer. Prices extremely reasonable. If you don't care about the fringe junk that's offered in modern barbershops (beers, big screen TVs, etc), this is the place. You'll get a great cut at an awesome price from an old school barber who knows what to do.

Looking for something besides the cookie cutter discount or sportsy "men's haircut" place and stumbled across this one. Great atmosphere, laid back and casual. The guys working seemed like they were having a good time, and really took their time to do a great job. I know I got one of, if not the best haircuts I've ever had. Doug did a fantastic job...asked questions, found out where I wanted to go with the cut and did it better than I could have asked. I'm conflicted, though. On the one hand...there are alot of you out there that will love this place. On the other hand...don't screw this up for me people. I highly suggest you make an appointment.

I used to go to Tim back when he was at his old shop. Heard about his new place when I asked someone where to go for a good beard trim. Cut to the chase (pun intended)....this place is the best. Tim did a great job on my beard....in fact he spent more time making sure my beard looked its best than other barbers spent on my entire haircut! Great laid back guy atmosphere. (don't like the outside fool you and don't blink driving by or you might miss it). And to end I just want to say how easy / great is it to use the Booksy app to make an appt (only Tim). Will make this place my new barbershop for sure.

Never going here again.Go in as walk in and they tell you that you can go next door and have a beer and they'll come get you when your name comes up. Went next door and they never came over. Go back in and my name is crossed out and 5 others behind mine. Sit down and they still call somebody else. Say something to the guy that told me to go next door and he acts like he could care less.

I've been looking around for a new barber and I've found the place. Finally got by to get a cut and Daniel, a Master Barber, is a professional. Great cut, I can't rave enough about. He knows what he's doing. Not to diminish the barber at all, but to boost him, the barber shop is what your looking for if you'd like to stay out of salons and franchises. This shop only enhances the qualities of the barbers. They're also well supplied with great men's products (hair and beard). Well done to the owner. BZ A friendly shop you can suggest to others. Need to make a reservation to get your beard trimmed. If you are a walk in, you may not get it done. Meanwhile, someone recommended me to go to Patron Barber Shop. The experience was friendlier as a walk in and quality of their services and trim of my beard deserve a kudo.

Worst haircut I've had in as long as I can remember. I even got better haircuts in China. I gave explicit instructions for a very simple cut and 3 weeks later, my hair is still in shambles. Most of the time, if I get a subpar cut, I can make it work somehow. Not this time. And it just gets worse as it grows out.

When you can trust someone to do the right thing with your coif, you keep going back. Made the mistake of convince, by going to another place, but it's bad when they are standing around. Yes you can wait and do a walk in, expect to wait a bit though because they are usually full.

Let me start off by saying this, I'm pretty much bald. Be that as it may, I find myself in need of a beard trim, and a head shave from time to time. My barber of choice is Alex. A younger gentleman with an eye for style. Just got out of barber school about 4-5 months ago and has really hit the ground running. Actually, I can't say enough good things about all of the barbers there. I went recently on a saturday to get my beard trimmed up because I had a job interview that coming Monday. I explained my situation to Alex, that I needed to look good, (well, as good as I CAN look). Without a moment's hesitation he went to work. I spoke with Alex and Tim, (the owner), as well as other customers either being serviced, or waiting. Took about 20 minutes, we discussed taking off some more here or there. Once I was happy, (which I always am), I paid, shook hands and went about my day. The whole atmosphere is very "chummy." I don't say that to be negative, in fact, it's the exact opposite. From the first time I walked in there I always felt like regardless of what I needed, I was treated like a friend. They always have a story, or are willing to talk about anything. Another fact about Alex, I have a nephew that lives about 45 minutes away. Alex is the ONLY barber that he wants to see. I bring him up there when he's ready to get his hair cut, and he sits like a champ. Alex doesn't just cut his hair, he engages my nephew, gets on his level, and discusses things that my nephew actually is interested in. I can't tell you how much that means to my nephew. It also is a sigh of relief for my nephews mother who has been searching for a barber that my nephew could tolerate. All in all, I've never found a more friendly, professional, or welcoming barbershop. Even if I am bald. By the way, I aced the interview and got the job. I'd like to think that my snazzy looking facial hair had something to do with it.

Cool environment. This was my son's first barber trip at 14, he was pretty nervous as he had always had scissor cuts, but Javier was great, and knew how to work with ethnic hair. Wish they let all barbers take appts though, we waited about 2 hrs, but it was worth it.
