Walk in shop. The wait was not terrible. Friendly group of guys. From what i observed in the time i was there each barber took the time to do a tremendous job. I had the pleasure of having Alex as my barber. He was very professional & detailed oriented. I'm pleased with the job he did. Thank's!

Just got a cut as a walk in, the hype about the shop and barbers skills is real! Sometimes you gotta wait for greatness and when it come to a good hair cut, it's worth the wait. Clean shop, skilled barbers and good conversation. I will be back as a walk in or make an appointment. If I have to wait I WILL! Thanks MIDTOWN!

I don't have enough hair to worry about getting it cut. I just shave it all off. But, I take my two year old son to Midtown. My son has been "spirited" when trying to get haircuts before we moved to Wilmington. The first trip to Midtown was not another experience I was looking forward to. However, and I really have no idea how to explain it, my son climbs in Mr. Bryce's chair for a haircut willingly every time we are there. Bryce is great with him and my son gets a better haircut than anywhere else we've been. Don't hesitate to bring your kid here if you're looking for a great place to get their hair cut.

Say what you want about the wait time and how hard it is to get in, but you can't rush perfection. Bryce has been cutting my hair for four months now. Every time that I've been in there and someone has come in looking a fresh cut Bryce has tried very hard to get them in. If you think about it Bryce's system allows you to get a time leave and come back. This is so the customer doesn't have to wait.I know it sucks having to get up early to wait in line to be one of the first 10, but think of it as a way to start your day. Hands down best barbershop in ILM.

Alex is the "Best Barber" in town! He knows how to cut thick and course Asian hair that most people don't know how to. He is precise and detailed,and remembers your cut and expectations. After the cut you can even get a trim on your stache or beard,with a clean shave after. Alex is a genuine guy and has the passion for his "art!" Midtown Barber is the place to go with an experienced team of barbers. Appointments available & walk-ins too.

Had to get a haircut for a wedding and it was the best haircut I've had in ages. It's located in a small strip off the edge of College road. If you're doing a walk in expect to wait. All the staff working are super friendly. The only problem I had was the wait, but that's only because they are good at what they do. Hopefully, they can one day open a larger establishment...

The best barbers i've been to in town. Being Asian and having thick/coarse hair I didn't go in with any expectations because my cuts are usually average from other barbers. The wait was long, but every guy that walked out with their cut looked fresh so I decided to wait (also was a Saturday). I came in with no expectations and left with possibly the best cut i've gotten in a very long time. These barbers are professionals.

Did I really just wait for an hour to get skipped without warning like I was in a lunch line? I understand banter. I understand that every haircut I saw performed was crisp. You are two great barbers but I felt disregarded as a customer. Come on guys.

I got a great haircut first time I went (in July), but ever since then I haven't been able to get in to get another appointment. Every time I tried to make one they would expect me to wait 2 weeks before they could even get me in. The one time I did have an appointment set up, the shop was spontaneously closed that day (no holiday or anything). Another time he said he'd call me and let me know when the earliest spot was available. Still waiting on that. As good as the product here is, their customer service has made it not worth making the time to go. Hopefully they add a new barber soon, cause these wait times have lost them more that one customer I'm sure.

This barber shop is always busy. It provides a time slot for when business is open, but it's appointment ONLY which makes me feel less valued if I don't personally know the barbers.They seriously need to work on a better open schedule for both barbers, it's usually booked up fast because there's only ONE barber in the shop at a time. I use to come to this barber shop before they started the appointments, I feel like it's ruined the business for me..

By far the best cut I have ever had. Bryce is a perfectionist when it comes to his hair cuts. I've had hundreds of haircuts before coming to Midtown and ever since I've been stopped and asked who cut my hair. If you can't get in on a appointment but are lucky enough to grab a walk in spot its definitely worth the wait.

Several hour wait as a walk in, but worth it. Bryce is EXCELLENT. He takes the time to give you the cut that you want and he has the skill to do it. I found him by using online reviews and they didn't disappoint. He takes reservations on a limited basis, which will make the process much more convenient.

Found the place on google and seemed to have decent reviews. None of the 16 reviewers must've visited on Saturday. Read their hours are 9am-3pm so with 4 hours to spare I walk in only to find out on saturdays they are exclusive to appointments. Not upset but it sure would be nice if they could post these rules online for potential clients to learn before wasting time and gas. Will never be visiting this place again.

Cuts always come out crisp, no matter which barber's chair you sit in. The line can be absolutely terrible depending on when you come in, especially on the weekends, but it's worth it.
