Not one to write reviews often but Hot Shaves Barber Shop and Karra saved my hair from another embarrassing haircut in Myrtle Beach! Living in San Diego, I had grown accustom to the barbershop experience and feel, and now I have found it again, FINALLY! From my first visit today, I can tell that Karra has a great attention to detail when it comes to taking care of her male clients. She is getting my hair back on a healthy track from day one. The experience at Hot Shaves makes me look forward to getting a haircut again. Especially when the person behind the scissors knows her craft well! Kudos Karra!

Hot Shaves is one of the few salons specializing in male cuts. Bobbi did a great job cutting and styling. Included was a hot towel treatment and neck massage. If you're looking for it, the closest landmark is Croissants Restaurant.

Best haircut I've ever had. Always appreciate small businesses that make their service an experience, not just a paycheck. Lynne cut my hair and she was very kind, paid attention to the smallest details. Karra welcomed me and it felt like I was visiting family, super comfortable and kind. She even helped out on some parts of the cut that Lynne asked her to do. Hope my hair grows fast so I can come back soon

Got a haircut from Hot Shaves last Friday and I couldn't be more pleased! Loved the shop right when I walked in. Very friendly and welcoming. Had a great cut from Kerra...loved talking with her and I appreciated her advice on my cut. She will be my barber from now on. I am a woman with very short hair and after always going to regular salons and paying way too much for services that I didn't need it was a real treat to find this place. Great place and great people together with incredible service......I will refer them to anyone I can.

I was referred to Hot Shaves by a friend so i had to check it out. I have been on a quest for a year to find a good Barbour shop in the MB area and i finally found it! The cut looks great and the hot towel and shave was on point! I highly recommend it. Be sure to make an apointment online though.

Excellent experience and result. Got a great cut, Karra was extremely meticulous about determining what I wanted and getting every hair right. Hot towel, wash, and scalp massage was a major bonus, all included in the price. Will be going back every time I need a cut!

The reviews are certainly accurate; The overall experience was great and I recieved one of the best cuts I've had in a long time. If I were a local Hot Shaves would see me for a cut every two weeks.

A homey/quaint/delightfully quirky barber shop. Polite ownership with professional attitude. Generally hair cuts cost $20, but I didn't mind in the slightest with this cut being $25; I am a thrifty person. Professional hair cut with straight razor on the back, relaxing scented face hot towel while getting hair washed with a scalp massage, and even a quick stress-relieving hand-ball back massage. I would recommend supporting this small business!

Two barbers that both do good work. You have to make an appointment if you don't want to wait or not get a cut at all but they will do the best to fit you in. Would recommend.

If I had one thing to say it'd be I wish Karra's shop wasn't so far away from home! I had a phenomenal experience. Made an appointment for the signature cut, beard, and mustache trim. I have never been this satisfied with a haircut. Truly a master at her craft. Incredibly affordable and an absolute pleasure to meet.

Read the reviews and was pleased I thought I found someone to do a simple quality edge up. I get my hair cut normally in Durham NC at Dennis Best Hair Salon for men but I needed a quick edge up. Good so far. They take me. I was not informed until after the process started that the lady was not license to use a straight razor. After that I almost got up but I decided to act rational. Then the clippers came. My beard edge up....well there is no "edge" now. Very sloppy. It's lopsided and also jagged one the left side. The mustache had a random chunk taken out of the top. I don't know what the deal was with this experience. My problem is that I would have perfectly accepted and not judged anyone if she would have said up front "I don't know if I can get it straight enough" or "I don't do the straight razor". Needless to say I have to get my regular barbor to fix this if he can even do that. I'm also out of $12. It was rushed and sloppy. This place might be good enough for some but if you want your beard done don't go there. I mean all she had to do was follow the lines from the hair cut I seriously got exactly a week ago.

This is the best men's salon on the Grand Strand. These gals are great. You get a meticulous hair cut (even razor cuts), hot towel, scalp and neck massage, and highly personal experience, all for only $20!! I am a loyal patron, and always look forward to my next appointment.

I came yesterday for a shave. The entire experience was a real pleasure. First of all it is Incredible to find a place that offers this service so I am thankful for that. But Karra is simply a master of the craft. It was a very relaxing and pampering experience. She did a great job with the shave, it was close and precise and skilfully done. The hot towels and various lotions and oils took the experience to soaring heights of relaxation. At the end I felt refreshed and looked great. I canno give enough praise for the job that Karra did.
