Had spent the last two years trying to find a barbershop that I was comfortable with and this place is over and above what I look for. Staff is awesome and fun to talk to. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great haircut with even better service.

Walking in the door you see that this is a welcoming place. They offer you a variety of beverage choices (all free). The three stylists are all happy, interacting with everyone there. They will listen to your wishes for a cut and do their best to make it happen. You're better off booking an appointment in my experience as they are busy.

I’ve been without a haircut for months, and decided to roll the dice on this place from a friend suggestion. First off, it’s a bunch of badasses that own a barber shop and provide excellent care and take clients suggestions and opinions into consideration. Secondly, super warm and inviting. Thirdly, the prices are spot on. If you’ve got thick wavy hair, this place will do you right.

Awesome people! My wife and I had to make an unexpected trip from Wilmington to Asheville due to hurricane Florence and I was in great need of a haircut. After doing some digging and finding Clippers & Comb, I called and was able to get an appointment with Ashlee within a few hours. Joe & Ashlee we’re amazing and just solid down to earth people that were very easy to talk to. Not only did they make me feel like a regular, they gave us a few great food spots and an ice cold brew. My haircut was on point and felt like they did a great job asking me what I wanted. Will come back here when I’m back in town for sure. GOOD VIBES GREAT HAIRCUT!

These folks rule! Had to wait a week or so to get in but it was worth it. Prices are very reasonable for the level of service you get, and their styling expertise is miles above most barber shops. Oh and their hot lather shaves with a straight razor are amazing. I cannot possibly recommend Clipper and Comb enough!

Joe and Ashley have a fantastic shop. This has to be one of, if not the best in Asheville. AJ was my barber and he was a true Craftsman. I hadn't had a hair cut in over 3 months and he took my shaggy hair and beard and gave me the best cut and shave I have ever received. Hot towels, straight razor, and a clean fade. This place had a great atmosphere, I've never been one to hang out at a barber shop but I found my self legitimately disappointed I was their last customer. I could have hung out long after my cut was finished. Whatever you guys do, DON'T go anywhere. You've got yourself a regular... Thanks again, AJ, for a great cut!

If you’ve been on the search for a great barbershop in south Asheville that’s affordable and has good vibes, then look no further! I stopped in the other day for a haircut and got an awesome fade. Ashlee did an amazing job and was a really fun person to talk to. Her and her husband run the barbershop and they make you feel right at home. I like their shop because they really focus on giving you an excellent cut (they do old school shaves too) and delivering a great customer experience. I highly recommend this place, go check them out!

This place has a great vibe, it’s run by two awesome positive people that clearly know what they are doing, and they might not know it yet but they just got a long term patron. What a great place! I had heard about this place and desperately needed a haircut. I called hoping to get an appointment. There was a cancellation and AJ fit me right in. What a great cut! You get the works here - Like a barber shop is supposed to be! Good conversation good beer/coffee and a good cut at a reasonable price! AJ took his time and got every hair just right. I just let him do what he thought would be best for my hair and he nailed it. Highly recommended!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of getting a two-bit and a shave cut from these guys. I am a NC native who lived in Brooklyn for a decade before settling down here recently in Asheville. I've had a tough time finding a decent barber, and these guys just nailed it. I've been to numerous other places downtown with a variety of levels of service, but Joseph and Ashlee are setting up the perfect replication (whether they know it or not) of what I had back in Brooklyn. Ashlee talked to me quickly about cleaning me up, then she set to work and I immediately looked far sharper when she was done. She gave me a nice beard trim and styled me up. Eucalyptus Hot Towel to finish, oh yeah. My wife was definitely happier with the look when I got home, and I made a second appointment when I left. I can't say that about any other shop in town that I've tried. I'm a customer of their's now as long as I'm here in town.

Joseph and Ashlee know not only about how to perform a perfect fade, they understand how to be great at customer service. I booked my appointment at last minute and Joseph was able to squeeze me in the schedule. I was greeted with a smile and a cold drink. He then proceeded with a consultation based on my hair type and what I wanted to do. I have gotten a bald fade in other places but nothing like this. Expect attention to detail, perfect execution, clean neck shave, hot face towel and shampoo if you want (I always do). Clipper and Comb have a new regular in me. The best vibes for this fun couple full of good energy!
