Only place I go to get my haircut! Love the staff, everyone is great. We also bring both of my children here to get their haircuts. It is worth the extra money, even the kids to get a quality haircut. They always have toys to distract the kids during the process. If you are not happy with something, they will work to correct it, they want you to leave happy.

I drive up from Atlanta once a month because nobody comes close to the effort and time they put in. The price is great and I would pay double for the top-notch work that they do. Absolutely amazing place to get a Haircut or Hot Shave . I used to get a Haircut at one of the quick places around until I saw and experienced American Barber Shop. That was it, for sure I am not going back to the quick place anymore. Luckily I walked in thinking it will be a long wait since they had few people waiting, but they got me in quick. so I did get the best Haircut and Hot shave. I was ecstatic, Choman gave me the best Haircut and Hot Shave; it was the best experience I've ever had. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to get a great service with no exception. plus the shop is very clean and the atmosphere just amazing with 6 TVs, Free WIFI, magazines, and sports on at all times. Been going to American Barber for a long time now almost 6 years. Grandfather, father, brother, and from time to time even my grandmother will go. Always satisfied and leaving with a smile. Have been a loyal customer to Khalid ever since the first cut. Has become almost part of the family! Plan on getting the first cut for Jr once he is old enough to keep the now family tradition going. I would give less if I could. I advise everyone not to go to Leyla in the first chair. I am by no means a difficult customer or anything but I gave this lady detailed instructions. She even repeated it back so I know it wasn’t the language barrier... she just went and did her own thing resulting in a haircut that wasn’t what I wanted. When I asked her why she didn’t do what we had discussed she told me I should have brought a picture!

I have been coming to American Barber Shop since they opened. The best haircut .and shave in north metro Atlanta area by far. They will make you leave the shop feeling great and looking your best . Everyone here got the best talent and very professional with what they do with great attention to detail. American Barber shop is the place to be, I take my boys for their regular monthly haircuts and couldn't be happier with their service. Great atmosphere, friendly and professional barbers, we love the environment and the layout of all their shops. They have 3 great locations and we go to all 3 of them. We are treated with great respect and never feel pressure when we are there. When you walk in everyone greets us with big smile on their face. Barbers have great experience at what they do and deliver nothing short of perfect service each and every time. Not good. Tried them instead of Great Clips, but it was just as bad... Maybe worse. I described in great detail what I wanted - to no avail. I stopped her several times to tell her she was cutting off way too much, but she kept cutting... Shorter.. Shorter. Finally, another stylist came over and tried to help... And cut it even shorter! I finally had to emphatically tell them to STOP CUTTING! I just paid, left, and won't be back.

Just left and our experience was pretty great... For the most part. The people were so kind to our family and my oldest son (mind you is 2) who needed a hair cut. My sons hair cut was all of 10 minutes. They loved on my little boy and played with him! However...the woman cutting my husbands hair was AWFUL. She spent over an hour just doing my husbands hair while we had a 2 year old running around. THE OWNER had to come over and finish her poor work. Their only down fall was that woman..

The hair cut was pretty good, a lil uneven around the ears but i thought i might get my beard tightened up and i asked to not take the length off the bottom and i went home and realized it was less than half the length it was and also it was obviously uneven and no sort of uniformity. It was so bad i had to try and fix it myself and trim it even shorter to even it up. Much better now but im still left with a third of what i had that took me very long to get and still need it professionally tightened up. The hunt continues for a barber that knows how to trim a beard properly.
