When I began working in Manhattan years back there were many barbers in midtown Manhattan where I could get a shave and haircut. Then they all began to disappear. Today there are a couple that I know of but the one I go to is Reamir Barber Shop Midtown East. They still give a classic hot shave and a detailed haircut. I hope they remain forever.

I have been a customer ever since. There is no NYC barber shop like it. They give hot shaves and trim around the ears with a razor like I remember from years back. I can't wait to go return.

"I've lived in New York for 20 years and have had only two people cut my hair until now. The barber at Reamir is the third. We all know how tough it is to find a new person to cut your hair the way you want it. There are tons of barbershops in my area including a few that are walking distance. However, I decided I would see what I could find on Google. Reamir Barber Shop on 57 street ((bet. 2nd & 3rd Avenue in NYC) had the best and most reviews so I decided to give them a chance. I walked in a couple months ago on a Monday and the barber was available. I told him I wanted my hair short and conservative because I sell high end suits in Manhattan. He did just what I asked. The next day when I went to work several people said they liked my new haircut. That’s always nice to hear. I've been back three more times and I am still very satisfied and changed it up a bit by getting a little fade, mostly to hide the gray hairs of a 49 year old. The barbers are all professional, courteous and great listeners. So I give Reamir 5 star. Definitely see them!"

It was really a great experience. I found Reamir and Co visiting New York in February for just a few days for my business needs. I wanted to look neat and presentable for business meeting with my partners. They were able to make me an appointment the day I called, and my barber was fantastic. He listened to what I wanted and gave me a great cut. I researched barber shops online for a while before I chose Reamir and Coand it's a really good price for the attentive service they offer. I have been receiving compliments on my haircut all week. Excellent service, great value and fantastic results!

I went to a job interview today at 11:00 am with Arthur and he wasn't there and I came a little early(15 min.) Because am very responsible with my appointments, the guy who was there recognize me because 3 years ago I went to make a trial to the west side location at Broadway and he do exactly the same pick up his phone go out and text somebody , 2 minutes later I received a text message from Arthur saying he was stuck on the traffic and he can't make it, the gentleman apologized, this time he said he was stock in the doctors office and he can't make it again. I was so disappointed with this people, am a 54 years man,I have been cutting hair for 40 years, I thing that I deserve some good or fair response. They waste my time and even they don't give me the chance to prove my skills as a barber. Please barbers who are looking to success in art of barber,don't waste time with Reamir and Co. Because the aren't respectful and honest with barbers, please be careful choosing your places.

I just left Reamir & Co and I am VERY pleased with my haircut! This Barber is AMAZING! He was very thorough and because this was my first haircut since I started work for the Company in NYC a week ago he made sure I was completely comfortable. He took me through every step of the process. He even gave me some useful tips on how to maintain my hair and what to and what not to let other barbers do in the future. He is DEFINITELY going to be my barber. I was so excited to walk out of Reamir knowing that I had a great cut and had an amazing experience. Because more than just getting a haircut it's all about the experience. And I had a great one!
