I’ve been going to Mike’s Barber Shop for about two years now and I’ve loved every haircut I’ve gotten from him. He’s one of a few people that can give me a real nice fade. He’s always got some entertainment on if you’re waiting but he’s a great conversationalist. Very funny guy. I’d recommend this barbershop for anyone looking for a great haircut at a good price.

I told him one thing. Do not mess up the beard. He did a great job with the haircut, but the beard is destroyed. I didn't think it was possible, but he turned my beard into a comb over! Did not notice it until the morning after. Overall he is a nice guy and does great with hair cuts, but cannot trust him because he messed up the one thing I said not to mess up.

Best barber in all of NYC. Prices here can't be beat. Mike is a legend himself and always strikes up some great conversation. You can tell he has a good group of regulars because I always see the same people when I go. Been going here for about two yesterday plus now and really couldn't be happier with the cuts I've gotten. Go right at 530pm to beat the after work rush

Mike is a great barber. He does a great job and really cares about his customers. I was in there recently when a woman came in with a young child wanting a haircut but didn't want to wait in line. She came back to find the line even longer and Mike was polite saying he cannot hold a spot because it's unfair to the other customers and especially during rush hour. She stormed out and cussed at him and it ate away at his conscience. Visibly upset, he said he hoped she'd come back the next day because he'd offer to cut the kid's hair for free just to rectify the situation. Not sure if she did but what a guy.
