Dropped by Manetamed four years ago after visiting a few places that left me disappointed and haven’t gone anywhere else since. Natasha is amazing - haven’t left once with a haircut I was disappointed with - and everyone there from The Receptionist to the barbers is warm and friendly. I don’t live in the neighborhood anymore sadly, but still make the trip out to visit Manetamed whenever I need a trim. It’s worth it.

I will admit that I was skeptical, but my roommate recommended this place to me. I am the kind of guy who just goes to a regular, run-of-the-mill barbershop, no frills. I expected that Manetamed would be too hip and/or trendy for me. However, I was wrong and the guy who cut my hair did a tremendous job. He was so focused and paid such close attention to detail and the haircut turned out to be the best haircut I have ever received. Thank you, I will definitely come back.

$45 for a cut. Solid scissor-work and comfortable atmosphere. For the price though, I expected the typical amenities at a hipster/trendy barbershop - missing: no hot towel, no straight-razor neck shave, no shot of bourbon. That's how we do it in San Francisco. There are barbers on the other side of the freeway who do nearly (nearly) as good for $18. Up to you if the extra money is worth it.

The stylist at Manetamed are confident in their art and welcoming to every guest. The environment is laid-back with an unique atmosphere surrounded by art on the walls. Downstairs you can find a selection of books for sale. If you are looking for a transformation with your hair or just a simple trim, rest assured this is the place to go. My haircut was done by Magda. It was growing out from an undercut & very unruly at the time. Magda made it into the perfect bob and it is now almost to my shoulders and still looks fantastic.

$40 for a short hair haircut. better to make an appointment. hipster friendly staff but the place is super messy and doesnt have enough mirrors. awful art decorates walls and unless you check the website first, price is a surprise (no signs) and tips must be cash.

I had a phenomenal experience at Hairrari with Arsen, my barber. I am pretty picky with my haircuts, and in all honesty, Arsen gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had. He was patient, listened to exactly what I wanted, and did an awesome job from start to finish. Arsen and the rest of the staff were also incredibly friendly, and I enjoyed the vibe at Hairrari. I can’t see ever going anywhere else for a haircut again. I highly recommend getting your haircut with Arsen. I’ll be back!

I must say I am rather disappointed with the quality of my haircut and beard trim that i received in the salon yesterday. The cut was poorly executed and is not really any different than a $15 dollar cut at a barbers. I had to do touch ups at home as entire sections and trim lines were left uneven and long hairs around my ears were left. My hair dresser also gave me one of the worst beard trims that I have experienced, leaving me messier than before with a slight cut to my throat as well. I actually had to clean out the transition from head hair to beard and tidy up everything. For $70 this was a sub par experience and I would not go there again. The staff was friendly.

Everybody is very friendly and welcoming and it's always a plus being in a queer friendly place! I've definitely recommend this shop to pretty much everyone I know.

I was struggling to find a good barbershop on Sunday without making a reservation. So many places were fully booked. This place was my third choice and I only had to wait about 15 min. The team is very friendly. My barber, sorry I lost your card, was super talented and gave my hair a detailed design. It was my first hair cut in 8 months and it was very worth it. The price was understandable. Hair style can really determine how you look. I will def go back.

Aurthur is the man. Initially on my first visit he was available so by default he was my guy. he made a great impression on me from the first cut. I trusted him so much after that I had him cut my hair for my wedding and again before I went on my honeymoon six months later. I have very curly hair probably not the easiest to cut but I can say that he does job I know this because when it grows in it just looks better and better. Usually many mistakes start to come out. This is not the case with Arthur. I’ve changed my style a couple of times and he still does a great job every time. I also have him trim my beard bringing out the natural shape of my beard. I am always pleased with the results! I definitely recommend Arthur from Manetamed!

I had an *amazing* experience at Manetamed today. I arrived super nervous because it's my first haircut away from home (England) and I usually enjoy haircuts as much as sitting exams (FYI, I'm not one of those people who loves sitting exams). I was offered a drink and was showed where the drinks fridge is (nice touch) and I was offered a seat whilst I waited my turn (because in typical nervous fashion I turned up really early). I spoke to at least 3 people during my visit and everyone was so lovely and friendly. I never know what I want when I go to a hairdressers; I just approximate a length and hope for the best, relying on the skill of the stylist to do something that just doesn't look ridiculous, and of course I also secretly hope that it'll look super-amazing. My stylist was Nick and he was so friendly. Chatty without being overly so and full of interesting conversation which put me right at ease. He explained what he was going to do before washing my hair, which also put me at ease, and then went for it. I absolutely love my haircut and I'm actually looking forward to going back again. Thank you *very* much to Nick and to Manetamed for a great experience.

Easy-going staff, pleasant on the phone and in person. Marcel took care of me and gave me a perfect cut without any of the fiddling that I'm used to in cheaper salons; he heard me out, made suggestions, and gave me options he thought would work for me. Veronica is AMAZING. After growing out my hair for three years, I finally decided to get it cut. It was my first time meeting Veronica, and I was anxious at the thought of cutting off my long hair. She really helped relieve my anxieties and helped me figure out what I wanted, and wow, did she deliver! I've now been going to her for months and I haven't once looked back. My hair is hard to fade, and month after month she NAILS it. I'll follow her wherever she goes; I really can't say enough good things. And on top of that, she's funny and great to talk to--really just the whole package.

My boyfriend went in for a shave and a much overdue haircut. I was not with him but he said it was a great experience and his barber Vivian did a great job. He said it was the best shave he has ever gotten, and he's been to some pretty fancy barber shops. It was super close and smooth with not one nick. Vivian did an amazing job all over!
