Alex and the rest of the staff offer an amazing experience. Always working hard to fit customers in, but still giving every customer's an amazing experience. You can book online through their website which makes it easy on the weekends to make sure you get an appointment. Always offers hot towel service after a hair cut and beard trim and the entire staff is always in good spirits and keeps you up to date on the neighborhood. A great find in the East Village.

It had been like one year that I moved to the east village and it had been one year that i have been coming to mad4cuts barbershop. From the first day i came to this barbershop, i didn't go to any other barbershop in neighborhood cause I receive an amazing hair cut every time I come and service is just on point. Especially Alex knows what needs to be done he remembers all the time how i want to do my hair cut and trim my beard. In addition, barbers like Arnold, Eugene always courteous and polite and they know their work.

Beware!!! If I could give zero or no stars I would. Horrible service. My son went to get a hair cut all they gave him was a messed up uneven line up then stated they did some "blending" therefore it was a hair cut. Which on here states $20 that's a lie they charge$25 then when I went in to speak to them they referred me to the wall stating my son saw that.... The issue wasn't the money it was that no one could even tell that my son just came out the barber shop never again. You must have not checked this hair cut you could still see the uneven lines..... He's 14 -when I felt a certain way I went inside to represent him. I could show u.

Made an appointment for 11am. Shop is supposed to open at 10am. It's after 11 and nobody has opened the shop. Update 9/26 Decided to give them another chance. Got a fade from Arnold and everything seemed cool. They charged $25 which I thought was high, but I figured whatever. Got home and saw in the mirror that when he trimmed around my ear he butchered my hairline like crazy. I was upset and thought whatever it will grow back and I'll go find another barber shop. I walk into work today and the first thing my boss says is did you give yourself a haircut. It is that obvious how terrible it looks. How can you charge $25 for a cut that's not even worth $10? I'm very disappointed and will have to go somewhere else to get a skin fade to fix this mess.
