Always a great experience getting a haircut here. I live in Manhattan but I've been going to the location in Brooklyn for three years because the haircuts are so consistently good. This barber shop is on point. It's decorated and designed very well, not like most of the shops in New York. Great addition to the neighborhood. But the most important fact is that all barbers are very professional and know what they do. All of them pay a lot of attention to details, take their time, make sure that haircut looks good from different angles and really care about customer satisfaction. I'm very happy with the service. Been in NYC for 4 years and after 4 haircuts with these guys - I can definitely say it's the best barber I've ever had. I moved down to Chelsea about 3 months ago and have visited Dan at Imperial 4 times - each time he cuts exactly as I ask. He remembers the cut each visit, but he's so good I've started to ask for slight tweaks in my usual style cuz I trust him to translate what I'm saying perfectly into my haircut. I mean I don't have crazy long or difficult to style hair, but I seriously never feel better than I walk out of the shop. The price is outrageously cheap and I've never waited. I'm reluctant to increase my wait time...but Dan deserves a line out the door.

Super classy, old school barbershop! Must check out. Barbers are perfectionist. Great lines and always satisfied with my fade/cut! Very convenient location, too. Just outside the 14th street subway stop at 14th and 7th. Kyle (owner) is my favorite barber but all of them do a fantastic job! This is actually their newest and second location. If you’re ever in Park Slope, Brooklyn you should check out the original shop on 5th Ave. Also, a great shop and highly recommended! Both spots are family owned and operated. 5 stars!

Not many decent barber shops in the area for a great haircut. I'm hesitant about going to a new barber so it was great to see Kyle open a 2nd location in Manhattan. I have been going to the Park Slope location for years so it makes it much easier during the week to get a cut. The haircuts are always precise and done in a timely manner so you don't have to sit and wait forever. The place is clean and modern.
