I love this barber shop. The people here are super nice and attentive. You'll have to go to their website to make an appointment, if you're going to be late you can call them to let them know and they are LGBTQ friendly which makes me feel safe.

This place is great! Every haircut I've gotten here has exceeding my expectations. I've tried some of the other "good" barbers around the city and found them to be hit or miss. Not the case here. Hairrari never disappoints and they always take the time to get the details just right.

Honestly the worst haircut I've ever had in my life. I asked for a trimming to the back of my hair and explicitly told Garrick that I wanted to keep as much of my hair as possible. I booked him specifically because the website stated he knew how to work with curly hair, which he absolutely does not. He cut my hair as he would straight hair, and now it will literally take me probably about a year to grow back. Very disappointed. Purple shirt picture is of before and maroon after.

I got a sexy summer haircut by Magda. I'm making heads turn so often, everybody in the city's getting whiplash.

I went here and left slightly disappointed. The staff was nice and attentive and the woman that cut my hair seemed skilled, but she didn’t have a round brush, which meant she couldn’t give me the cut I needed. As a guy that likes to style my hair with a blow dryer, I was a bit frustrated because we weren’t able to blow out my hair the way I like it in order to check that the cut worked for my style. This all because none of the stylists had a round brush. When I styled my hair once I got home, the volume distribution was a bit off and it didn’t look too great. My advice: don’t come here if you have a slightly more complicated men’s cut.

I had my hair cut here a month ago and all I can say is I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! Magda is so fantastic. I showed her a couple of hair photos that I liked and she then took her time to look at my face shape and the way my hair fell naturally and came up with a great cut that was like the photos, but made for my face. That is what a true professional should do. The NYC shop is cozy and the other stylists were so friendly. I would highly recommend any man or woman to come here - you will not regret the attention to detail and the price is perfect.

Never had a chance to enjoy the experience. I called because I was running late and was told that after 10 minutes past the appointment that they wouldn't be able to see me. Got there at 15 past and they wouldn't see me, said that everyone was busy but when I checked online on their website there was a 6pm slot open which I asked to be slipped into but they said it was "booked". Tried to offer a time for the next day but I was so put off by their customer service that I have no interest in giving them my money. I will be the first to admit I was late but as a new customer, it would have been nice to show more hospitality. They're certainly not starved for business so it won't be any hair off their heads but I won't reccomend them to anyone anytime soon.

Sara gave me the best haircut I've ever had. She is the most perfectionist human being I have ever met. She literally wouldn't let me leave without my hair being perfect and easy to style. I live on the West Coast now but will have to plan a trip back to NYC for my next haircut!

Great vibe, great location, great staff. Magda did an amazing job, I was nervous to cut all my hair off. She listened to my vision and created a perfect cut for my hair texture. I first walked into Hairrari in their first few weeks after opening. I haven't gotten my hair cut elsewhere since. That was 3 years ago. Magda, who started it, is a brilliant hairdresser. Worth booking online with her directly even if you have to wait a few weeks for an appointment. Also Morgan is great. Such a pleasant group, fun music, free drinks, and most importantly great haircuts.

Great, small two-room salon, with friendly staff and affordable prices. I’ve only seen Stevie and recommend her very, very highly. She’s got a vision for your head (so important), energy to burn, interesting convos, and loads of warmth. But it’s all about the cut and I’ve paid so much more for so much less at other places. This is my go-to now.

Best 40 dollar men's haircut of my life. Pricey but worth it. I won't try another place ever. All the stylists I've tried thus far are amazing. (I'm a walk in kind of guy). You won't be disappointed.

Been going to Maria at the Bushwick location for about 8 months. It’s always a great time. Always a great cut. Always a great conversation. Andrea gave me the best fade EVER! There are many barber shops in the East Village, and I've tried most of them. Hairrari is now my favorite.

I went to DEJA. She told me she was already working in the Brooklyn location and at the last stages of her training. My hair is badly thinning on top which is why I specifically said please just fade sides and back dont touxh top. She completely ignored me and made whatever hair I had left on crown muxh shorter. She also had to be corrected 5 times on the fade part alone. Not to mention I have degenerate disc disease and she was getting frustrated and pushed my head aggressively back and forth saying stop moving. Noe I have to pray the hair she cut grows back which it probably wont beacaue it hasnt grown in years. She lied and deceived me. Pleaee stay away from DEJA she had horrible customer service and was very aggressive pushing my head back and forth saying sit still when I have neck problems. I dont know why she is there but stay away from her she ruined the remaining hair I had on top of my head

This place is fantastic, a cozy and clean salon that posts profiles of all their stylists so you can really get someone who knows your type of hair. I picked saw Maia since she’s great with curly hair, and my haircut came out great! She is super patient, took her time, and asked a lot of styling questions so she can can get the cut exactly how you want it. She definitely knows her stuff, and I’ll be coming back here for a while!

I cannot say enough good things about Hairrari. Specifically Nancy, but honestly everyone there is so kind and welcoming. I love the extremely queer friendly/ gender neutral atmosphere in the space. I usually feel very out of place in salons and barbershops being very androgynous, but I feel totally at home at Hairrari. Ok, back to Nancy. She is INCREDIBLY talented and friendly. I genuinely enjoy going to get my haircut. I normally go to a barber for my clipper work and a stylist to cut the top of my hair, but now I actually found someone who can DO IT ALL!!!!! I am an hour away but gladly go in to get my cut from Nancy!! I highly recommend!!!!

I was very excited to go there after a few friends recommended it to me. Although i really liked the staff member there i am sadly disappointed. I arrived at a walk in around 12 35 and was told someone would help me out by 1 15. I then waited until around 145 and i had to leave because it took too long. Disappointed.
