I'm a Dominican who is relatively new to this area. For months, I struggled to find a barber who knew how to work with my wavy hair. It was just last week that I discovered Bedford Boy's, which is operated by Dominicans who knew what I required AND with the added bonus of being reasonably priced (given how unaffordable the neighborhood is). They even threw in a complimentary shave for good measure! Will definitely be going back! Thank you so much!

After being in NYC for 4 years I have finally found the perfect barber. Francisco gave me the best cut and conversation combo. The barbershop is the perfect laid-back atmosphere and nicely tucked away downstairs from the madness of NYC. Honestly, I can't recommend this enough.

I stumbled upon Bedford Boys Barber Shop on my way home from work. I stopped in and got a great haircut from Francisco. Basic no thrills barber shop. Happy to have a reliable haircut place in the neighborhood. I used to get my haircut at Fellow Barber and Neighborhood Cut and Shave, but this was the best cut I've had in a while. Definitely making this my new spot.

Found this place near my work and super happy I did. Eddie was very friendly and really took his time with me. I have thick italian hair and I only do skin fades, Eddie did and awesome job one of the best haircuts I have got in the city and the cost was excellent compared to other places. Absolute best shop I've ever found in my life. A good barber is one who consistently gives you the haircut you want. But maybe he can't give your friend, who has a different head and different hair, the perfect cut he wants. It's subjective, which is why most barbershop reviews are a mix of mostly "he's the hair Messiah" and a few "he's a butcher" comments. A master barber can give anyone who walks through the door the cut they want 98% of the time, or tell them why it's not doable with their hair. Francisco is a master barber. It's like $5-$7 more than what I pay for a cut uptown, but I don't have to sweat bullets worrying if the barber is going to go rogue and give me a high and tight or some weird hairline shapeup that I'm going to hate for weeks, or wind up shaving off and spending 2 months growing back out. Not a tough decision. Go get your hair cut here.
