After I moved to NYC, it took me a while to settle on a barbershop I could trust. When I went to barbers blueprint, each barber I got was professional and took care of me. Unlike other barbershops that throw you in the chair and get you out in 20 minutes, they take their time and make sure you are satisfied with the cut. Big thumbs up

I was recommended by a friend and it was the best decision I have very made. The haircut was clean cut, professional. The attention to detail was superb! I then decided to get a hot towel shave seeing other clients enjoying the hot towel treatment I was sold. My barber was sorted handed and took his time. My skin never felt better and it felt smooth like a baby's bottom. The place looked very classy and the barbers very very friendly and personable as well. I will definitely be back and I would recommend this place to others as well!

This was hands down the worst haircut I've ever received. On top of the bad haircut the service was bizarrely terrible. The guy who cut my hair was aggressively unfunny, and seemed to have no idea what he was doing. He spent an inordinate amount of time massaging my ears, and later with a warm towel he tried to clean my ears for me, which was really really weird. He also used the clippers in ways I've never seen before, like he was poking them into my hair to cut individual hairs. The entire time I was cringing hoping he didn't mess up what was left of my hair. This was an awful experience and I will never be going back there. I would strongly recommend you avoid this place.

I hate leaving a bad review because overall they seem like a nice hard working family, and I respect the effort of running a business, but the guy "Tony" I had cut my hair made me feel very uncomfortable and I honestly thought he was on something. I asked for a taper cut that finished at a 2 at the base but quickly got clippers all up the sides and lost the weight at the top; which helps keep it looking professional for my work. Moreover, the top length was blended in too high up and it honestly just looked like an adapted version of the top knot haircut like he had. I could tell the communication was off and he even said "oops" as he cut my sideburns too high and lopsided. The extremely awkward over narrating of how every step that he was taking would be for me; from putting the bib on me to putting my credit card in the machine and then trying to talk at the phone without having picked it up, made me think he was on something; his coworkers seemed to correct him, but there was a disconnect. This was just the most cringeworthy experience I've had with barbers and the cut was just off and is now too short to fix; I know, as I used to be a barber. Im sorry for the poor review that affects the other barbers that Im sure would have given a different experience, I just have to be honest for others.

Just moved into the neighborhood and called this place. Had my haircut by Gregory. He did an exceptional job, asking questions to understand what I wanted and constantly monitoring how i felt about the cut. I declined the complimentary shot at the end of the cut, but will absolutely be coming back, maybe next time for a haircut and a drink.

Just got a great cut from blueprint in a great setting. They are very nice and welcoming. He took the time to evaluate my hair and explain what kind of cut and products are right for it. The shop is very chill and the prices are very reasonable. Really happy I them after many years with someone else. Finally overcame the inertia to look for someone new and am glad I blueprint.

I went to Bluprint today after going to the same barber for a little over a year. He had been rushing through my haircuts and I was starting to notice that they weren’t coming out the way that I wanted them to. I saw Rolando at Bluprint and I was blown away with the level of customer service. He took his time to talk to me and figure out exactly what I wanted. He didn’t rush through my cut and he made sure to stop a couple times throughout the service to make sure it was what I wanted. The cut came out absolutely amazing. This is the BEST barbershop in SoHo. PERIOD. The place looks amazing, serves you a shot of scotch with your haircut and best of all their hospitality is UNMATCHED. Anywhere. They have OVER 180 5 star reviews on YELP. Too bad google doesn’t have the same screening standards and lets just “anybody” post fake reviews. If B.B. is good enough for Andre 3000, Leo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro then they must know what there doing. Skills and client lists speaks for itself. They were featured in countless editorials, movies and magazines. This is the famous Soho men’s barbershop ofcourse competitors & fired ex employees are gonna be salty and write fake reviews. But make sure you check whose in the chair next to you becuz if B.B. gets all the celeb clients then skills must speak for itself. Do your research folks.

I've been getting my hair cut by Blueprint for a while and have no complaints. It's hard to find someone that really knows how to cut my hair but they are the best! They really take time to figure out what direction your hair grows and how it so your cut will still look good a week or two later :) Bonus points !!! And they really friendly and cool. Definitely is my number 1 spot in NYC !!! I've always been happy and I won't let anyone else touch my hair now!

Blueprint is by far one of the top barber shops in NY., if not the best. They are extremely timely and efficient, when it comes to precision cuts you won't find them anywhere else but at blueprint. They are beyond chill and super personable. I guarantee you won't be disappointed with your cut, book your appointment like I do every 2 weeks . I always stay loyal my hair is super hard and they keep my fade right and tight!

Took there time getting everything straight and checking that the length was good. They are real perfectionist with your head. I stopped by this place after a good friend who'd been coming here for years recommended it. I sat down and was called up really quick . We discussed what style i wanted, side burns, etc. Dude did an exceptional job and even lined up my facial hair too. The fade was on point 10/10 really dig there style just freaking right not to low like my old guy !!! I am so glad I found this spot. I'll be back in a week or two.

I have been getting my hair cut here since I moved to the city. It's relatively inexpensive, the cuts are great, and the barbers are friendly (but you don't have to talk if you don't want to). Note the quality of cut depends on the barber, as with anywhere else, and they each have their own way of doing things. However, I've never had a bad cut here.

Hate to leave a bad review because it seems like a great place but the haircut I got was a hack and nothing near what I had asked for. I asked for a low taper and to leave the length on the crown and top of my head. What I got was a 3 on the sides ALL the way up and no length left around the crown, pretty much zero taper, and then all the length taken off the top. Second, all the length was then taken off the top, thinning sheets were used on the sides resulting in it being completely uneven. Top of my hair was being cut on an angle on one side, but not on the other, something I have never seen done before. Came in to get my hair cleaned up for an upcoming wedding this week, ended up leaving with all my hair gone and a lob sided cut. I hate to leave a review like this because there are some good reviews, but it is an honest review. Might as well have just gone to the barber down the block for $16 and probably would have still had my hair.

Very bad haircut. I cut my hair on a weekly basis and the guy that cut my hair had no idea what a fade was. I asked him before the haircut if he knew how to skin fade and he said yes but clearly did not know. Avoid if you require a good haircut.

True Professionals and a family owned and operated business. Why haven't you booked an appointment yet, with those words alone? I've been going there for three years and have always been elated with their attention to detail and ability to communicate and understand their clients needs. The first time I ever went there I was in desperate need for a hair cut and a beard trim(prior to an important meeting). It turns out I kept them past closing....opps....but, that being said, they never let me know they were closing and still took the time to give me a great cut. Lana is my go to and she is a perfectionist, yet still able to give a time efficient cut. It feels like a collaborative relationship as the haircut progresses because they ask you if you are happy with length and style as the appointment goes on. I'm a pretty picky person when it comes to my haircut and beard trim and I can't recommend this place enough. They do walk ins, but, if you want a specific barber, book through their website. It's super easy to use. If you are looking for a dedicated crew, professionalism, people who seem enjoy their job, and their client relationships, this is a place for you. I really enjoy my haircuts here and it's actually a fun experience too. -sg

Usually get my haircut here. Most of the barbers are great. Only issue is that they use different terms from one barber to the next. A fade to one is different than a fade to another. If you explain, they'll understand.

I didn't say anything, Do some RENOVATIONS; at least make the space feel rich...TOP CRITICISM. Clean up the place Have standards: OWN YOUR BUSINESS. This place is in the heart of soho as soon as you walk in the ambiance and atmosphere is so welcoming. This isnt your typical barbershop where you get just haircuts and fades but hot towel shaves as well. Me being an original new yorker barbershops were just regular places you are in and out and majority of the time you just get a regular haircut at this place u get a great cut. My boyfriend came in and saw Arthur he wanted a change the haircut he wanted was a fade Arthur was very descriptive on how to upkeep the maintenance since his hair is very curly and when to come in every couple weeks, the pomade product he recommended was phenomenal. All in all its hard to find great barbershops in NYC this is the best barbershop. Profess descriptive and sufficient .awesome place

Stopped by on my lunch hour to get a quote for x amount for a side trim. Came same day after work, decent trim, but then charged me 1.75x despite mentioning him what I was quoted earlier. Also told me what tip he expected and so I gave him less but really should have given nothing. Mocked me when leaving. Excellent service, gents. A shame because the place has excellent reviews.

This place is awesome! Great service, great conversation, and most importantly, great skills. Seriously the best cut I've ever gotten, and that's hard to come by. As a women with short hair, male barbers tend to act scared, but blueprint asked questions to find out what I wanted, and they checked in and showed me in the mirror along the way, which i appreciated. I'll definitely be back! These guys are my new mans in NY!

I made an appointment prior to my haircut. When I walked in they greeted me in a friendly manner, they even referred to me by my first name which immediately made me feel welcome. I was seated right away. I explained to Arthur ( the owner I suppose) what I was looking for and give me a descriptive consultation and immediately went to work. I was observing my barber and may I say, I was impressive. I can honestly say it was the best haircut I have ever had in my entire life. When it came to laying it only $28 dollars!!! What????? Just $28? I would have easily paid twice as much! I am definitely coming back for as long as time will permit me. I highly recommend this place, don't waste your time and money elsewhere! I would give them 10 stars if I could!!!

This is exactly what I expect from a barber shop. Friendly and relaxing environment, great service and courtesy. I've been helped by Peter, and even if he was very suggestive about my hairstyle, he perfectly understood that I was looking for something very specific and did exactly what I was looking for. Last time I got a haircut was 3 months ago so I looked like a shaggy dog. They asked questions to make sure he knew what he was going to do because I didn't even know what I wanted. The cut ended up better than I ever had because of the attention to detail they put in. Blueprint the type of barbers who treats every customer like they are about to do a photo shoot after. I'm not great at describing the style of cut I want, but they always are patiently working with me to find the look that worked perfectly for me. They really listen to what I asked for, actually took the time to take a look at the animal that is my hair, figured out how to accomplish what I was looking for, and I walked out looking like a million bucks. Prices are reasonable. Beyond the cut, the people here are friendly and make you feel right at home. I've tried shop after shop in NYC--and I'll definitely be back.

I've searched many salons and hairdressers over the years. Finally I found Blueprint and I couldn't be happier. Each appointment is a treat rather than a chore. They are very talented professional people whoalways keep my hair in check. One thing is they always listen to there clients needs , and does an excellent job. I highly recommend all of them. Really fantastic service they earned all my 5 stars.

I JUST left this place, and I love it. Blueprint was absolutely fantastic no complaints at all loved everything . I just moved to the area and decided to try it out. I've found my new spot, easy enough. The whole experience was great and relaxing, and this is one of the best haircuts I've ever had. Thanks Blueprint, I'll be back! My fade is looking just right and I'm super picky my hair needs an artist and then guys make art on your head!!! I always get compliments when I go out thats what i'm talking about! My mans in NYC all day 10/10

Worst experience at a barbershop ever. Asked for an disconnected undercut and the lady (Lana, I believe her name was) was not sure of what it was. I did not see blade work she had done on my forehead at the shop for when I got home and saw it, it was a pretty sight. I feel extremely unsatisfied.

Dope spot excellent service needed a clean haircut and they gave me one. I'm very picky with my hair and they hooked it up, perfect cut, told them how I wanted it and gave me exactly what I wanted and even added a little something that I really enjoyed! I always have people asking who does my hair and proud to say blueprint! Thanks man will return

I am not usually criticizing, and I never left bad comments on internet but this place was really bad. The service was terrible, i did not even had a basic "Hi", everybody was on the phone in there. It was definitely too expensive for the quality of my haircut and the man almost forced me to withdrawal money to tip him, where I saw perfectly no reason to do so. AVOID IT, YOU WILL SAVE MONEY AND HAIRS.

Unfriendly service, barber didn't listen to what i wanted, skilled with the clippers useless with scissors. Left with unstylable hair and cost me more than i have ever paid before.
