I went back to this place because the place I usually go to on avw B was close, and I disnt have time to go to another shop.. ugh, mistake. Worst buzz/cut I had in years.. I think only the the kid, son of the ownwer, gives good cuts. The others are nowhere near the standard.. Skip this place, if u ask me. Not worth it.

Best barber shop you'll ever have. I travel literally an hour everytime to get to this shop because they offer all the best qualities in one place. Forget the fancy salons and the local shops that need apts. There are no long wait times! The staff here are amazing and comprehensive with every little detail. They cut for both males and females. Ya know I really wanted to like this place. It has really good views, but everytime I came here I got a different cut from a different barber and it just wasn't what I wanted each time. Maybe it works for some but not for me. I changed to A Cut Above the rest down the street.

Very disappointing. Went there a few times and price fluctuates for the same haircut. I could deal with price issue, but they messed up my beard on my last visit. Can't understand how a barber can move the beard line low without consulting the customer. I didn't even know what happened till he straighten the chair. I also just looked over all their reviews, the 5 star reviews don't look genuine.

The first time I went here I got a good haircut for a very reasonable price. The second time the barber (who possibly did not have a great grasp of English) did a horrible job. He stood in front of me and began cutting my hair quickly saying, "very short?" I did not want it very short. It was too late at this point. My hair was then very short.

Wooow!!!! This is the place to visit. This Barber Shop looks unbelievable and is truly amazing. I got one of the best haircut in my life from this place. The Price was so cheap it was only $15 and they offered me water, Pepsi, Snapple , etc... they even offer complementary drinks like vodka and whisky. I greatly recommend this place. Check it out!!!

Called in an hour before closing to ask specifically if I could come in and was told I could. Paid for a Lyft and hurried there immediately since they were closing soon. Got there in 30 minutes only to be told “sorry, come back tomorrow”. If you were going to tell me to come back the next day, don’t make me go out of my way to taxi over when I could’ve just taken the subway home.

By far the best barbershop in NYC and I’ve been to a total of 12. 9 in Manhattan and 3 in Queens. Friendly atmosphere, 6 chairs so you’re never waiting too long and most importantly knowledgeable and talented barbers at each chair. Come here and you won’t regret it!

I always go here to get my hair cut. The barbers are all very experienced. The place is clean and they take their job seriously. At the time the cuts are only $18 (~$22 with tip) ! Their fades are done very well and will do lines and designs.

Alex is the best barber I've ever been to, hands down. I've recently transitioned from a life in the US Army, and now have, for the first time in a while...hair past a shaved head. Alex has masterfully given me a great haircut (my wife said "wow" the first time he cut my hair). On top of that, he's taught me how to care for my hair...since that's not a thing I ever learned (who knew you weren't supposed to wash your hair every day!). Highly recommended. The culture here is wild! Customers know the barbers on a first name basis and theres always a seat for everyone. The music is great, they serve drinks (i.e water) and it makes you feel like home. It's in a great location at east village. Alex is the best barber there (also the owner).
