What a barber shop should be! A family owned business supporting the local Rio Rancho economy. Tammy and Rob are great people who also happen to be excellent barbers. They listen to your needs and make suggestion relative to their experience. After a year plus of looking, I've finally found a barber shop that gets it on all levels. A clean shop, friendly/genuine service, and a haircut that'll keep me coming back. Thanks!

Dropped in one time to get me through the awkward phase of growing out my hair. I was also hung over and half awake, since I'm here visiting family. I was placed with John and I couldn't decide what type of syle to get. Went with John's ideas and came out looking better than ever. That's what a real barber knows. Got more service than any haircut chain for less. And I think most of Rob's family is literally there. Can't beat that! :-) Worst part is, I didn't meet Rob. Maybe that wasn't his family. I'm not even sure if my barber was John, but 2 weeks later I'm still looking good. I'll be sure to drop in again the next time I'm in town.

They were great until the staff left. The only person they could get to work supposedly had 30 yrs experience and probably hasn't washed his gear the whole time. He cut my son's skin 2x with the clippers and a day later he had open sores all over his scalp. It's too bad because the previous guys had serious talent made it feel like the neighborhood barber shop.

My husband is a regular and gets great haircuts! Recently we took my 4 year old autistic son to Rob’s. I was extremely nervous about how this would play out since the last time we tried to get him a haircut at sheer madness about a year ago turned into disaster with screaming, crying and clawing. But Rob was AMAZING!! My son never cried! When my son was starting to get a little uneasy, Rob calmed him down and in the end, my son was thrilled with his haircut and happy. This was a huge win!!! This is the ONLY place I will take the boys in my family!

I normally don’t do this but since they were unprofessional about this situation here’s what happened. I came in for a reperm. They didn’t tighten the rod so the roots were not permed properly. They kept telling me that all of my hair is permed by taking a photo of the top of my head which was “very helpful” and that they’re professions and that I don’t know what I’m talking about. I even pulled out pieces of my hair to show the non-permed roots but they blame it on the rod selection was too big... I’ve been perming with that rod size for quite sometime (without ANY problems). They didn’t acknowledge anything I said. I’m a broke a** college student, waste of $50, thanks for nothing. After a week, I went to a different hair salon to get a re-perm and haircut. The guys there said who ever did my hair clearly IS NOT A PROFESSION. True.

Quiet environment. Didnt feel like barbers were to friendly. My and my son haircuts sucked. I asked for a razor fade for my son and they didnt do it. He had lines on his head still and a high ads fade. My hair cut sucked also I had to fix both of our hair when I got home. I asked for a drop fade which I have been working on for a while and he butchered my hair. Now i have to start the drop down all over because he gave me a high fade. Very upset with my hair..

First time going to Rob’s. We were greeted by the staff. The environment was relaxed and welcoming. My 5 yr old deaf/autistic son desperately needed a hair cut. What can I say? Kyla did an amazing job, she was very patient with him and he did great on the chair. I knew it was a great cut but my son giving Kyla a “ thumbs up” just validated the cut! Its comforting to know Robs treated my son wonderfully .. especially with his challenges. Treating him with kindness means the most to us . Thank you Rob’s Family Barber... for a great experience!
